Went for the a Sunday Roast which was really good, be sure to order the cauliflower cheese. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert is the best I’ve ever had
Just superb. Can’t praise it enough. Love the place. 👍🏻
The food was exxellent, the steak was delicious and all set in a nice, warm and informal dining environment
The food was excellent and the service was lovely. It was a great place to spend our anniversary together.
Excellent dinner. We took another couple who had never been there before, they both thought it was the best steak they’d ever eaten. My partner and I have been multiple times, it was up to the standard we’ve come to expect. Always a great steak. The sticky toffee pudding is something else, too.
Excellent as always
How do you make a dead cow taste amazing? Go to Hawksmoor to find out.
Always an amazing experience and great ambience. Everyone is always so chilled at Hawksmoor.
I really enjoyed this place. The ambiance was nice, service was attentive but not overwhelming, and the food was amazing. We did the £35 set autumn menu, which came with a cocktail. For my cocktail I chose the Grapefruit Sgroppino which was like a frozen margarita. Omggggg the best cocktail I’ve had in a very long time. So delicious. The balance was amazing. I chose the carrot salad, 35 day aged rump and chips, and the plum pavlova for dessert. All delicious and well portioned. My friend had the sticky toffee sundae; the brownies in there were SOO good. The only part of the dinner I didn’t like was the coffee ordered with dessert. I had a cortado and my friend a macchiato; way too bitter. Unfortunate because everything else was so good. But next time I’ll order tea instead ahaha. The chairs were comfy and there’s a nice muted tone in the restaurant. Would definitely go back!
Visited here with my girlfriend on Saturday for a birthday meal.
Service was very good and the food was even better, definitely recommend
Autumn set menu-
Great cocktails and a set menu where every course was delicious.
Yorkshire pudding starter was fabulous, rump steak main so tasty and plum pavlova equally lovely. Service great- lovely staff. Can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely perfect for our needs. Lunch menu excellent value.
An excellent meal and great service. I went in a Thursday evening for an anniversary meal. Besides it being a little loud, the atmosphere, food and service were bang on point!! I'd definitely reccomend to anyone.
Simply the best steak around. Superb vibe and overall highly recommended.
Good steak and efficient service. Yorkshire pudding slightly burnt this time but everything else great.
Amazing food and service we we’re celebrating a birthday and had the fixed lunch menu amazing value for money food was outstanding
Top drawer steak as always
Food, wine choice and service superb.
Amazing service and food!!!!
I went for a Sunday roast and had a glass of wine. It cost me £32 which I think is reasonable. The place was packed so definitely reserve a table! Staff are very friendly & food was really good. Well worth a visit!
Generally I thought it was great but the only negative point was that we had to wait quite a while between our starters and our mains.
Other guests were advised of the wait time of the roast option but we were not.
We ended up waiting over half an hour between courses and when the main arrived it was warm instead of hot.
Don’t get me wrong it was lovely and the meat was wonderful but I expected a bit of smoother service having eaten here before and other Hawkesmoore restaurants.
As usual had a great meal accompanied with excellent service. This is standard for Hawksmoor Borough
Just as good as the last time, excellent food, wine and service
Again excellent food, service and ambiance
Delicious supper - slightly slow service but very helpful- great ambiance - good choice of dishes - good wine list - good job we booked
Steak quality has dropped massively. New supplier? Real shame as this used to be a staple
Steven was awesome
The service was outstanding and the food just excellent. We couldn't have wished for anything better than this experience.
The food was very good and the steaks simply superb as was the service.
The only minus side was that in a very busy and buzzy restaurant you do not need to have piped rock music to drown the conversation at the table.
Great steak, melt in your mouth plus a lively atmosphere And really attentive service! Definitely recommend but dust off your wallet.
Excellent food and service. Cost of after dinner drinks, whisky act a bit steep
Lovely place for a good steak. Ambience was lovely, and staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.
Lovely waiting staff and great steak
Good vibe, great service, great steak!
Ran out of fish from the noon service-but who really comes for fish?!
Delish Sunday Roast with friends, would definitely go again & recommend to others.
My favourite place in London for a roast and it didn't disappoint!
Generally roast lunch was good but not as your nan would have cooked. Beef was tough to cut and there wasn’t enough of it. Vegetable accompaniments were good, but not what I’d consider to be traditional fare. No Brussels, broccoli or parsnips!! Unforgivable! Deserts were lovely and wine too. Venue has great atmosphere but is noisy. Staff generally attentive and helpful.
Visited on Saturday 2nd November and the food was absolutely delicious. The lady who served us was outstanding - courteous, helpful and happy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Great place. Such friendly staff and amazing food. Definitely value for money on the set menus
Great food , great staff, and a great atmosphere!!
