   Fantastic food. Everything just perfect. Starters, mains, desserts, drinks, attendance. By far, best restaurant I went in Edinburgh.

   I have eaten at Hawksmoor in London and was very excited to share this Edinburgh experience with my friends. They had an off night with the service but the food was still delicious. They graciously accommodated us because of the service snafu. Well worth a visit for the very best steak in the city.

   Severely overcooked or undercooked food (potatoes were still crunchy, undercooked) and really difficult to get the wait staff’s attention. It was clear there was something wrong with the kitchen or their staffing. We weren’t really sure who our waiter was. Any better options in Edinburgh.

   Really slow service had to keep trying to get attention of serving staff. Filet steak was fatty and my son left half of his. My glass of rose bubbles was taken when I hadn’t finished it and waiter just swooped it whilst walking past. The pour of the bubbles for £17 was really expensive. Chicken dish was way too big for one person and I left half of it so whilst it was lovely it just made me outfaced by it all. Dessert was excellent.

   Starters were amazing. Had the Salmon and the Pork Belly, which we would recommend . The Sunday roast was good, it nothing to shout about.would say it was good average Sunday Roast

   We had the 3 course express menu. The food was plentiful and exceptionally good. Fantastic value for money.

    Sabrina was amazing and so attentive and helpful. Very upscale restaurant however you felt welcomed like a regular customer. Not at all rushed and though very busy, everything ran like clockwork! If ever in Edinburgh- make this a priority stop for an amazing steak and meal!
