Fabulously crafted cocktails, and the prime rib beats any Ive had in 40 years. Staff is educated and helpful. Gorgeous venue that is definitely haunted. So glad we booked. Will absolutely recommend and happily return.

Sadly our not our greatest experience at this branch having eaten here many times since opening. Restaurant was very busy and it resulted in a slow somewhat disjointed service. Things started well, starters and initial drinks arrived quickly and any dietary requests were handled superbly. However it slowed considerably from then on. Water was not replenished, nor additional drinks offered , so we spent a fair amount of time with empty glasses whilst awaiting main courses. Main courses eventually arrived once we had been in the restaurant for over an hour and sadly one was lukewarm. The course was promptly removed and the item reheated, however they did not offer to keep the second plate from the table warm in the interim. This left one person eating whilst the other waited. We found it difficult to attract attention of wait staff to order additional drinks and also our final bill, we both agreed that the experience was not one to remember. We received a verbal apology for the lukewarm food but felt the restaurant missed their mark.

I picked this restaurant on account of its setting: an elegant old building where I imagined a civilized dining experience with a hum of quiet conversation. I was therefore extremely disappointed that someone had decided to inflict loud music with a prominant bass on the diners. It made conversation difficult and rather spoiled the experience. On other feedback, the food was OK but nothing wonderful. The wine was heavily overpriced, even by the normal standards of restautant markups. I therefore don't think I'm likely to return, though I would consider it for the nice setting if I was told that the awful "music" had been silenced.
