Excellent service and food. Portion sizes a little on small size (chateaubriand for two can easily be for 1).
Nice, good. Nice. Nice. Fun. Yummy.
This was our first visit to the Heddon Street Kitchen and we loved it. The service was fantastic and very prompt but not overbearing. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, everyone ate different things and it was all great. The table was really warm and toasty. All in all a very enjoyable late lunch and we will be going back.
Sticky toffee pudding to die for will be visiting again
First dinner out after lockdown and booked here just because it was available. Very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Squid was beautiful and the rib-eye was cooked to perfection. Staff were absolutely amazing and service was faultless.
Food was perfect, great experience and warm seating
Professional and friendly staff
Service was really good, but food average. We had a good lunch but don’t think we would go back.
What a wonderful experience. HSK are clearly putting the customer experience first with their re-opening. We went with our young godchildren and their parents for Sunday lunch and nothing was too much effort for the staff. Our godchildren were treated like mini-adults, which was lovely, and the staff made special attention to accommodate their requests. The wine was excellent (particularly the Champagne Devaux blend made especially for Ramsay restaurants) and everything we were served was universally delicious. The restaurant have managed their limited outdoor space well and from what we could see no one was made to wait for a table and we were given plenty of time in excess of our allocated 2 hours to finish our meal. Thank you so much HSK team. Can’t wait to come back.
very good sunday roast.will recommend although ask for a heater as was too cold.
Breakfast (brunch menu) from 9am. Fast service and decent food. Terrace was well positioned to look into the rest of Heddon street.
Waiters treated us like we below everyone else just because we are younger as it seemed. Seated us in a different area completely while everyone else were seating under heating. When we asked to be moved to the general area as a table was free they never got back to us. They eventually moved us even further away from the rest of the restaurant but at least under the heating. The food was good but I had to get up myself to ask for the bill. I’m sure we could have walked out without paying and they wouldn’t notice. Won’t recommend going unless you look like you will buy the whole bar. They will most likely disregard you.
Heddon Street Kitchen serve excellent food and I can honestly say it is the best burger and fries I have tasted in a long time. There outdoor area is also really nice and we felt quite comfortable with the heaters as it was fairly cold in the evening. Staff was nice and friendly too. The only disappointment was really their wine selection and the prices of the wines. The cheapest bottle was £30 and then the next one on the list was £45. Seemed like a big jump and also very expensive. Should have had some better choices and more reasonable prices too.
Absolutely loved it, service was impeccable, food was beyond delicious and the drinks were a genuine delight.
The drinks were small but strong and the wine selection is lovely. A few strange men sitting opposite us ruined it but that’s of no fault to the restaurant. Overall a great place.
Great tasty food, good service and great ambience
Very enjoyable late lunch, 4 of us we had bream v good firm fish and beef burgers
Tiago our waiter was excellent, couldn’t do enough for us
The food was very boring and menu very limited the wine list was expensive.....Heddon Street makes this restaurant not the actual place itself
Been regular customers here with my husband since 2015. Food quality is always good and the ingredients they use are fresh. Staffs are always helpful. This is one of our favourite restaurants in London.
This was our first lunch in a restaurant this year. We had a great time, good food, family friendly, good service and atmosphere. It isn't cheap but I wasn't expecting it to be.
We love Heddon Street and have been back so many times now! Our first time out since reopening and it didn’t disappoint! Absolutely fantastic food, great friendly service. Good to be back!
The cocktails were appalling.
The food was bang average.
Our server was irritating.
For a birthday dinner meal it wasn’t great.
Excellent service, lots of heaters outside so wasn’t cold. Food was good.
Excellent food and service all round. Would recommend.
Grilled prawns disappointing as in a rather odd yellow sauce and also not sure how long under or on a grill but large ( at £4 each need to be)
Fillet steak good but accompanying tomatoes and mushrooms not seen a grill or oven and £40 I considered poor value.
Will not be returning as there are similar average food experiences available that are less expensive. Why bother with a plastic thyme plant on the table in this age of ‘plastic awareness’? A single inexpensive ‘real’ plant changes the impression easily.
Quite pricey, but good burgers and fish and chips, would recommend. Nice atmosphere, book well in advance due to Covid.
We had a lovely first meal post lockdown. The food was excellent. The front of house staff were really lovely so why didn’t I give them a higher score.....in my opinion they could have worked more efficiently. It didn’t seem as though there wasn’t a coherent method of working. Perhaps it was down the release from lockdown and early days back at work.
The sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever had. Would I recommend? Most certainly.
We arrived at the restaurant having made a reservation for 5pm, and were asked to wait, so were seated at 5.15pm. We ordered a bottle of wine which was unavailable and the waiter advised what would be a similar alternative. Unfortunately a glass was dirty so had to send it back, but was replaced and we were given an extra glass to make up for the waste, which was good. We couldn’t fault the food, however it is quite expensive for what you get, but as the food was fine and the atmosphere was good I was okay with that. Overall good experience, but expect to be paying a premium for Gordon Ramsay’s brand.
Had an amazing fresco lunch here just after the latest lockdown! The staff were super friendly and attentive, we never felt rushed and the food was outstanding. Will be back again soon!
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Tucked away off a busy street but still a lively ambience. The service was incredible from start to finish— our waiter Andrea was very attentive and helpful. The whole staff was. Note, this was in the night before London entered lockdown (restaurants shut) for the 3rd time and everywhere was manic and still, fantastic service. The set menu for 3 courses was delicious and great value for the high quality. Cannot wait to go back!!
Great experience, the food, wine and service were all outstanding
Amazing food! Best belly pork ever Good service. Restaurant and toilets a bit dirty ( food crumbs on window sills of seating). Overall looks a bit tired. Loads of screaming kids
Saturday night dinner with friends. Nice location, nice restaurant, nice welcome. Opinions were divided about the food. Some thought for example that it was unnecessarily spicy. Others liked the ingredients. So not a home run but me had a nice time and the place is decent value.
Great location, good prosecco brunch options and lovely dining area upstairs
We had a a great time bottomless proceso brunch .
I will definitely recommend to friends, great service great food thank you
Wonderful place for brunch. Excellent service and the food was delicious!
Service & food quality impressive. 15% service charge is excessive, the percentage is also not displayed on the bill within his sneaky. The donation added to the bill is not something all customers wold want. It should not automatically put on the bill even is discretionary. Customers should be asked prior to this being added.
Very poor value for money. The attempt to add a 15% service charge (which in fairness is discretionary and we requested its removal ) is an irritating habit that is creeping in now in the UK. Mr Ramsey needs to remember this is the UK not USA. The Ritz do not charge anything for Service.
Amazing food/ great service and good prices
