This is my second time and truly the staff makes this experience magical! Krisztian had us all in stitches, made the best wine recommendation for our meals! The food was SPECTACULAR but Krisztian took it to another level
Amazing food, very good service and friendly staff - all round great experience!
Heddon Street Kitchen was a great choice for a post theatre family lunch. As it’s just off Regent Street it doesn’t feel as busy as other places yet there’s a nice bustly feel. Kids eat free is certainly value for money and all our food was very good quality. Indeed the menu appealed to a fussy child, carnivore and vegetarian without anyone having to compromise. The service wouldn’t suit someone in a rush but a leisurely lunch suited us perfectly so for a similar thing would book again.
Outstanding service, food and drinks.
A fabulous time and evening spent in an environment worth being in.
Thank you. 😀
Nice restaurant location but food was overpriced and wine list was also very expensive with no that much choice of cheaper options by the glass. Music was also very loud so it was hard to talk and order food. Nice food though and service was attentive.
Everything I could have ever hoped for and more
Very disappointed with our visit to Heddon. Pre booked this restaurant in particular after hearing good things however have been let down from the start. After arriving and being seated for 10 mins we were then asked to gather our jackets and belongings and move table for no obvious reason. The table we were moved to was then wobbling, after asking the host to provide something to stick under the uneven leg to resolve this, nothing was provided resulting in one of the diners folding up the napkin to stick under the leg. Starters arrived promptly, however the gap between starters and mains was very long. Upon receiving our mains we were all very disappointed by the lack of flavour. The beef Wellington was well cooked however lacked flavour and salt and pepper were asked for as there was none already on the table. The Mac & cheese had no flavour what so ever and tasted just like boiled pasta with a bland white sauce. Napkins were not on the table, instead knife and forks were placed directly onto the table top, which during covid we found very unhygienic. Overall very disappointed with the service and food considering the price, and overall would not recommend to anyone.
We always used to like it here with the kids - however Sunday Roast really was just very average so wouldn’t go back there on a Sunday. The bill was incorrect which I had to point out. One bonus point is that the upstairs Ice cream bar has thankfully reopened - the highlight of the meal!
Very good food offer in child friendly environment.
The whole restaurant was smoky and the food was terrible，not good at all.
Great food and service through whole evening,
Quality of food excellent as previous visits
Very disappointed in the beef Wellington was very chewy and fatty considering it’s a signature dish. We came a few years ago and it was amazing. Service though was amazing and staff were attentive and refunded our meal. They were very apologetic.
I’m gluten intolerant. Was asked when I arrived if I had any allergies so was given a gluten free menu. I had gluten free bread to start but it came out as burnt toast
Main course was nice and tasty for dessert I had cheeseboard but they had no gluten free crackers it took them 15mins to come back and tell me they didn’t have any. So I ate them on their own. They did take the cheeseboard off the bill so that did help lol
My husband was disappointed with his sirloin. He said it was not worth the money and he also didn’t realise that you had to order sides to go with it. This whole experience took about two and a half hours
We are next booked in to the grill at the Savoy so fingers crossed that Gordon Ramsey can redeem himself
Superb service, waiter was perfect and very entertaining. Loved the sea bream, but need more low alcohol choices for us with Diabetes.
This is the second time we’ve been to the beef wellington experience (first being at bread street kitchen) and the difference between them was miles apart.
Being closer to the hotel we decided to try Heddon street instead, the service was not as attentive and wellington underdone. Starters still good standard but dessert, again, did not match the quality served at Bread street. Needless to say we won’t be returning especially for the price
Staff were amazing and friendly. Starters were amazing, so was dessert. But, we paid £40 per steak for our mains, which were about 70% fat and impossible to cut, we went through 2 steak knifes and neither of them could do it, very disappointing to be honest. I’ve dined here quite a few times so I’m hoping this was a one-off because every other time it has been superb, but will not be ordering the steak again.
Las entradas o “starter’s” no estaban ricas, pero la carne si estaba espectacular . Esperaba más por ser un restaurante de un chef tan renombrado.
This is my first time I am writing review for any Resturant. Either I had high expectations or the experience was really disappointing. Food was just ok but it was the service that was pathetic. It took one hour to bring two main dishes. Certainly wouldn’t be going back again
Just what I was looking for!
We were fresh from a matinee at the Palladium & were looking for somewhere for a (very) late lunch. I had a roast dinner & the Mr had a ceasar salad with chicken which were both very good & reasonably priced. The level of service was just about right. I would definitely revisit especially as I did not make it to the ice cream bar!
Good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service from friendly and attentive staff.
Have been twice for Sunday lunch and can recommend the chicken.
I’m sure that we’ll be back.
Very slow service, waiter was rude and had to ask for many things twice. Food was ok but for a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, we expected better. The steak was tasteless and lacked seasoning. Desserts, appetisers and drinks were great.
Food was exceptional but the service was awful. We were seen 3 times in 2 hours and 40 mins. It took 40 minutes to ask if we wanted to order. The restaurant was not busy and they have plenty of staff.
The menu was limited and underwhelming. I have had better meals in my local pub. For a Gordon Ramsey restaurant and prices I expected more. We felt rushed and couldn’t relax very well.
Everything was great, the only think is misunderstanding of the menu, the beef Wellington you put at 49£ per person, but you have to order for 2, witch I understand why as I work in hospitality and also in a confusing way it sais on the menu, but is confusing still and can make look bad your FOH staff. For such a famous restaurant, you could be a little bit more clear
Had the Beef Wellington experience. Shared the experience for two between three and got a few extra starters. It was wonderful and plenty of food.
Can find better food for that price at other restaurants
Great atmosphere and location for lunch between xmas and new year. The menu was varied enough for everyone to find a favourite & the food was excellent. The service was a little slow, but this could possibly be due to staff shortages as a result of covid? I would definitely visit again.
Service was unattentive and poor which was a real shame as I wanted it to be excellent as special occasion.. I paid the service charge which wasn't deserved tbh.... food was OK... the mash was amazing !... burger good but over priced. Seabass was lovely.. kids eat free was a bonus as we didn't realise. Dessert was amazing !
The Christmas meal was poor.
Scallops under cooked, mains lacking flavour. Overall an incredible disappointment especially for the high price tag.
Beef Wellington was amazing. We ordered a bottle of nice Piemonte Barbera wine, which was quite dry and nice.
The beef Wellington was delicious, as were the appetizers. However, the ribeye was pretty fatty (not marbled), which was very surprising as we've eaten at several Gordon Ramsay restaurants and have never had an issue with quality before.
Ok restaurant, but just ok.
Went on a Sunday afternoon so it was as pretty busy meaning we had to wait quite a while for the food. The food was very average (ceviche and roast) expected more from a Ramsey restaurant. Would recommend for families with young children however as there seemed to be a magician going around;not sure how often the do this.
We met family friend from From overseas that we have not seen for long time and they missed a proper sunday roast
Amazing Beef Wellington. Great wine selection, although on the pricey end.
Excellent service all the times we have been here and will be back again
Overrated in terms of concept/price/quality relation. The spicy tuna tartar was dry, and bread backed came with one butter for four adults. Cesar salad was way too wet. The best part was the cheesecake dessert.
Lovely from start to finish. My only thought is that the price of wine was slightly on the high side.
Great service spoilt by a very expensive last round of drinks and an argument with the manager which didn’t need to happen
