Great venue for a catch up with friends. The sea bass and cod were excellent. We decided to go for a cheese board and this was good - a selection of biscuits might have been quite nice.
There were other dishes worth trying so we will return..
Party of 6 including 2 vegans. Pleasantly surprised to see a vegan roast on the menu but what turned up was nothing like the picture taken from the Facebook page. Lots of nuts and very little nut roast. Not good hence rating but all other food, wine, ambience and service good.
Dined on Sunday Evening with my Mum, had the pork off the Sunday Roast and it was one of the best sunday roasts i'd ever had! My only critique was that the roast potatos were a bit on the tough side but other than that was exceptional. Sticky Toffee was emense. Service was top notch, definitely will return.
Food was good, service was ok but was kinda put off for us to be moved on our spot when there were guys next to our table who's been there much longer before me nd my guest had a seat.
Food was good, though not exceptional. Unimpressed by staff not wearing face covering but that's my fault as I should have asked about their covid safety measures before booking.
Great food, lovely ambience.
Lots of wines and drinks !
The steak was good, chips were a bit boring
Very slow service. Good food. A bit loud room. And you can feel the heat and cooking smells from the open kitchen.
Good food and service, drinks were expensive but that is to be expected. Main negative is that you are tightly packed in so you are just inches from the people next to you. Overall good though
It was lovely
Lovely location, atmosphere, the restaurant and staff!! Took my partner for his birthday dinner and I can't fault this place, the staff really looked after us. Customer service was lovely and so was the food. Not expensive, pretty cheap for a gordon ramsay restaurant!!
Food was excellent, service was a little slow, we had to ask for things like extra butter on numerous occasions.
Also took almost 15 minutes to get a drink upon arrival.
Senior staff just seemed to walk around without doing very much.
Once again brilliant all round
The reception ladies were not friend or welcoming at all. No greetings, no smile, and didn’t make customers felt welcomed. Being seated like primary school kids by a headmistress.
Food were not great, definitely no surprise except the price for that quality. Very disappointed of the beef Wellington.
The complimentary birthday treat was a total loss. Ruining the whole dinner. A bad act for a nice intention.
The two lady serving staff was the only appreciation of the night.
Very enjoyable venue for a long-overdue catch up with friends and family.
We were seated 30 minutes after our scheduled booking time. We had an hour wait between our first course and our main course. By the time we finished our meal the restaurant was empty and the staff was cleaning up. We had a dinner reservation for 8:15 pm and we finished our dinner at 11 pm.
The food was mediocre and thoroughly disappointing. Gordon Ramsey should be embarrassed with his restaurant. He is now purely a promoter with no culinary talent or business acumen. A true embarrassment to his profession.
Service was good, attentive waiter.
Starters were good.. chicken wings, squid, tuna tartare, beef brisket all lovely.
Mains disappointing.. bland. Pork belly flavourless.
Fish and chips- ok.. but the biggest disappointment was the steak. No flavour, chewy and overcooked. The waiter kindly changed the meals which were ordered as medium rare- but served as well done. However, the second steaks were not much better.
The steaks looked like ribeye, but the taste was definitely NOT ribeye. The steak was poor quality, rubbery, chewy, fibrous meat and to not cook it to request is unacceptable.
Overall standard of food was mediocre and well below Gordon Ramsay standard of restaurant.
At £40 for a ribeye steak, the quality is far far below that of Gaucho and Hawksmoor both of which are less than a 2 minute walk from Heddon Street.
Sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fondant were good.
Been here pre- covid and was entirely different experience so were looking forward to returning.
But sadly, after spending over £650 for 8 people incl 4 children we had a certain expectation to have a nice family meal but this was not met.
High quality food without a price tag and really attentive / friendly staff
Fantastic venue - really vibrant. Service was faultless and very attentive. Nothing was a problem.
Ice cream bar was a real treat.
Selection of food is a little limited but everyone was happy with what they ordered.
It is pricey - rib eye steak at £40 was expensive but we all had a wonderful evening.
Would definitely re-visit
Disappointed Gordon wasn’t there :( fantastic otherwise 😂
Over priced for the experience - I wouldn’t go back
Had a lovely meal here with my daughter. Food was excellent and staff were fab. My daughter loved the ice cream bar! Thanks for a great evening.
Service amazing staff took the time with my two girls to teach them how scrambled eggs were made. Ice cream bar to die for.
The waitress couldn’t do enough. The service was fantastic, staff were very friendly and of course, the food was fantastic!! Will be back again.
Very noisy inside so ate outside, pleasant and comfortable.
Great food and wine.
Staff attentive and very polite even though they were rushed off their feet.
Always a pleasure to dine at this location.
Good atmosphere and good breakfast
Service was too present. Too much on top of you at all Time. Very intrusive.
Menu was ok.
Quality of the food is great !
Food was good but expensive but restaurant let down by service. Daughter did however eat free and loved the ice cream bar
Best burger I have eaten in a long while. Not cheap though
Visiting Heddon street kitchen yesterday for the first time we were served by Christian who provided us with outstanding service and made us feel very welcome. We visited upon recommendation from a family member whilst travelling through London and the standard of the food , service and cocktails did not disappoint and we will definitely be back again.
Food amazing, very busy and noisy atmosphere, to the point we could hardly hear the staff and they struggled to understand our orders.
We had a lovely night. The servers were very friendly, very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food came out quick and was very tasty. We were given a buyagift voucher for my birthday so the meal worked out very good value although I'm not sure if it would have been at full price.
Great food, great wine, great service!!!!
Nice ambience with good service but the portion size and quality of food let’s this place down. Chips were over cooked and seemed like they had been refried. Spatchcock chicken was ok in taste but tiny.
Lovely service, very nice staff. Food average, but it's not expensive. Would go back. Kids enjoyed the ice cream bar.
The entire experience was amazing! The food was delicious, staff were great, table was fantastic. Had a really enjoyable time and will definitely be back!
Tucked in a little courtyard off Regent Street, this was a nice location for a spot of lunch. Food was all delicious, but the butter chicken was missing a little something, maybe just a kick of spice, or some sweetness?? Would have loved the beef Wellington, but at almost £100 for 2 people and nobody to share with, it was a bit pricey for lunch.
Easy to book. Great food & staff where excellent. We had a great evening. Suitable for all ages.
Great menu choice
Great service, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere but very mediocre food… all four of us were left disappointed with our choices.
