Had a great father’s Fay brunch with my daughter. She lived pancakes.
A twist of supermarket ready meals except the ready meals are better value for money. Gordon Ramsay has got a nightmare of his own at this place. Will never return. The easiest money he’s even made off me for that food. I feel robbed
Good service. Good menu and nice atmosphere. Will be back again
Very good experience here. Came here for beef Wellington experience, but didn’t know beef Wellington only available after 12 pm (we booked 11am). Still they made exception for us to stay longer so that we could try it! And the dish is up to expectation. Very tender meet and full of flavour!
unfortunately a bad service!
Booked for some dinner. Everything was very tasty. Service was lovely. Asked to switch table as one of us was facing the back of the restaurant, but switched to a better table.
Overall experience was great.
London is eye wateringly expensive and Heddon St Kitchen is no exception. Food was great though and staff very attentive.
I had a lovely time. Thank you! Delicious food and great customer service. The chocolate fondant was superb.
It’s was lovely
Really lovely lunch, superb food, great ambience, all with a warm and professional service. Compliments to the chefs and service team.
We booked for a friends reunion, group of 6, we had requested an outside table if the weather was fine. We were shown to a lovely table on the terrace, under a canopy, cool and relaxing. It was quiet outdoors, perfect for conversation. Inside is large and busier so noise levels higher inside. We were served by Titania, who was relatively new but it did not show, she looked after us with really well.
Couple of suggestions: couple more veggie options would be nice. Plus option for custard with sticky toffee pudding:)
Would book again.
Had a fabulous Sunday Lunch with my family , loved the restaurant, great busy vibe, good service, great menu and amazing Cocktails, would highly recommend
Expensive for average quality food. So many restaurants right next to it where the food quality/ price equation is much better
Standard food, nothing special and slow service.
Not what i expected, unfortunately.
Lovely food and really nice staff. Clean and spaced out perfectly with current dining rules.
A good restaurant overall with inside and outside space. Whilst the food is very good it is expensive.
Went for brunch with my sister and loved this place. Very different type of food than usual - kind of like pub food done right! Highly recommend
Extremely over priced for average food pub and the mussels were poorly cooked.
While the restaurant was busy and I arrived before my guest, at no point was I offered a drink and when my guest did arrive, it was full steam ahead to take our order. The waiter was attentive, but I left there feeling underwhelmed.
Fun night - efficient service in busy restaurant inside
Absolutely amazing, thanks
Staff unprofessional looks like first time in restaurant working.
Fantastic food and service! Lovely evening with a lovely atmosphere. Went with my husband and 2 young children, will defiantly return
My roast chicken was very dry with almost no gravy
Food and atmosphere was nice.
The wine was extremely overpriced...
Ask the price if you order wine by the glass
Weekend with friends. Second time at a GR restaurant. Chelsea grill was a lovely experience. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, perfect service. This was also wonderful. Tables were scratched pretty well though at it was extremely wobbly. Our server took care of it but still…
Not bad not great, food very average
Service was awful - not sure if it is post COVID effect but would expect more from a GR restaurant - and have had better when I have been to others. The Roast Chicken was bland as anything no flavour at all as well as the gravy. The glazed carrots were the best thing but could have done at home myself much better. Not worth the money at all and service staff were poor. The only thing they excelled at were telling you about the COVID rules abs that you had to leave in 1 hour 30! Don’t go here - there are much better places
Average wine list, average to slow service.
Hugely overpriced. Same meal in a Young’s pub is better and half the price.
Certainly won’t rush to come back.
Post lockdown you would imagine restaurants are trying to welcome customers back….Sadly this restaurant felt it would use its owners name instead.
Really nice experience, food was very good quality and tasty.
My wife was a vegetarian and she really liked the vegan roast except there was no Yorkshire pudding.
Deserts was great too.
Kids menu very good and high quality.
Would definitely visit again.
Service was good but I think they could have been slightly under staffed as our waiter did not come back - maybe only got him a three times (once I called him) but when we asked for something it took seconds to come to the table and really had no issues at all - we had a great first experience.
I did mention on my booking we went for my daughter’s 10th birthday but nobody must have read the notes 🙃
Service was surprisingly slow and sketchy. Food was very nice for what it was and also the portion sizes were good. We sat outside. The buzz of the restaurant was great. I thought the wine list was designed to get people to buy expensive bottles. Unknown white wines being cheap and the first well known bottle being £68.
Excellent throughout food,service and value
It was the nicest food we’ve had! Clean and tidy, amazing service! We will definitely be back soon!
Worth the price 🤩🥰🤤
The rib eye steak is so good. The best steak I had in my whole life 🤤 also the sticky toffee pudding is a must try 😍
Good venue for a relaxed catch up. Convenient location
It was wonderful to be in a high energy buzzy restaurant. Terrific food and ambience
Had a lovely birthday lunch and we were very well looked after. Great food, as always. Cocktails are really good, but pretty small compared to other places.
Lunch with a friend. Very nice and buzzy.
An expensive evening out but lovely food and great service! strongly recommend!
Actually date night with my husband. We have been going here regularly it’s one of our favourites. Always have a great time.
The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Enjoyed the whole experience
