Excellent food and service, not the cheapest but this is central London and Heddon St currently the mecca for foodies. Well worth the money, we had cocktails (something grapefruit which was lovely) special pork croquettes for starter and an amazing porterhouse for main.
Came to about £110 per head so not an everyday night out but for the occasional splurge well worth it.

Being fans of Hell's Kitchen, we have always wanted to visit a Gordon Ramsay restaurant to see if indeed everything is done to perfection. We were on holiday in London from Canada and found this place online. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Fantastic experience!

Staff were highly attentive and knowledgeable about their food and wine menus. Food was outstanding us choosing to have the beef wellington the food was perfect even down to the mash potato.
A nice dark atmosphere with good music to suit making it a pleasant dining experience

We chose the free flowing prosecco lunch menu. Really nice looking restaurant, we were greeted & seated quickly. For first 45 minutes service was great: food came quickly & was very nice, prosecco was topped up regularly etc. Not sure what changed but half way through we were sat with empty glasses, had to ask for top ups etc & ended up waiting 25 minuets without a drink, so perhaps not as ‘free flowing’ as we expected.
However on paying the bill we explained this & the manager was really apologetic & offered us a cocktail on the house, which was appreciated. Based on how they dealt with our complaint, we would return.

My family and I traveled from the states and wanted to visit a GR restaurant. The Confit Duck leg was delicious. The best dish of all was the sticky toffee pudding! It has a great atmosphere and you can create your own budget. Some entrees are around 20 pounds while others are 40+. The only complaint is the lack of beer choices.

Our visit wasn’t planned, So we didn’t have high expectations about this place but we decided to give it a try after all it’s Gordon Ramsay’s place.
The food wasn’t outstanding it wasn’t bad but to be honest I had better, but the service was terrible, our server had an attitude that made me feel a little uncomfortable, we had to ask for water I don’t think you should ask for that... ever! He barely stopped by to see if we needed anything, luckily I think it was the end of his shift because we had a different server that he actually was very helpful and took care of us for the rest of the time but the damage was done.

I was disappointed by the experience of poor service specially for the price we paid but anyway the place was nice and I don’t think I would go again.

Excellent and friendly service. Slightly restrictive menu choice. Mushrooms on flatbread obliterated by too much strong cheese. House red wine very good and good value. Ice cream bar with its own "barista" is fun.

Food was really good but service quite lacklustre. Took ages for anyone to come back and take our drinks order after we'd sat down. And once desert menus had been given no-one came over for so long that we had to get up and go and find someone to ask for the bill.

The service was great but the food was abysmal.
The hollandaise sauce had zero flavour which I didn't even know was possible, a side order of bread for an English breakfast came out after we had finished and our flat whites were cappuccinos. I used to visit with colleagues before work but I will not be back.
We were not charges service which I appreciated, the wait staff were very attentive.

This restaurant was just average, food was OK the main effort seemed to be to get me to spend as much money as possible. There was no mention of a pre or post theatre menu I was just given the al a carte. This seems to be policy a GM restaurants as it has happened to me at others I have been to. I will not return to any GM restaurant for this reason. I am quite happy to pay for what ever menu is available but would like it to be my choice and not engineered. This experience gave me the feeling of being a commodity rather than a valued customer

We came in to celebrate our anniversary. Our server Jan was very nice and helped pace our meal so we felt like we could enjoy, but not like we were ignored. He also brought us an extra dessert for the event! I had the duck breast and it was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommend.

Great last minute reservation which was more than what we expected it to be. The initial reception was a touch unsure (we all felt it) but these reservations were soon found to be without merit as great food was met with very good service. The only hang was that we were seated by the door so were a bit chilly but other than that the staff were lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely go back as you can't go wrong with excellent food paired with such a great deal and service.

Excellent set menu with half bottle of wine and very good value. We sat outside as inside was a little noisy. Very pleasant and professional staff but were clearly trained to upsell - set menu only produced when specifically asked for, wine by the glass was indicated in the wine list from £15 when over the page it was from £7- still water offered but tap water available when asked for. I suppose they have a business to run but this little moral blackmails do niggle.

We've been here for a couple of times. Four of us took the "Thank Gord it's Summer" menu which we found value for money. We all love the Tamarind chicken wing as starter. For the main, two of us ordered the burger, one found it very salty and made the remark, the other one found the burger has absolutely no taste and asked for some salt! Just wonder if during preparation, one burger has put on salt TWICE & not at all for the other one! (Gord knows?!)
The service was better this time, the staff who served our table was very friendly and polite. Better book a table instead of dropping in as we had been turned away the other time with an arrogant reception.... even though the restaurant was empty.
