Good food and service. Music a bit loud so on a table of six we struggled to hear each other. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Our waitress was especially great helpful fun and friendly. Made the day, despite us being a big (probably annoying!) group. Thanks!

Relaxed restaurant in busy Heddon St. Service was excellent, attentive and accommodating. Food was very poor. Vegetarian options were minimal and the two i chose - Kale salad followed by pasta were soggy and tasteless. I would have returned both but as we were in a rush there was no time. Had the service not been as good, I would have been more upset. The rose wine as part of the offer was excellent and one of the best wines i've had as part of a fixed price menu.

We were a group of 5, the service was poor with a long delay until lunch was brought to the table.
Our main dishes were dry and not good.
I ordered pasta from the menu and I was very disappointed.

It was generally a good lunch. There was quite a delay in serving us our main courses but the scenery was pleasant so we all enjoyed it. Staff was very polite. Kids loved the ice cream bar!

Food was poor quality- very disappointing. We had the pre-theatre set menu and could have made better at home. The cocktails were dreadful- we sent the first ones back and the second was tiny with limited alcohol. The service however was very good and they managed our complaints well so we will probably go back and give it another try for that reason alone. It’s amazing that Mr Ramsey has built a brand on criticising other restaurants- perhaps he should spend a bit more time and energy on his own quality control...

Expect beef Wellington would be better in the Wellington week. Yep, rough execution (not even medium rare) and crust was even broke.
The sides are pretty good and worth a try.

Good food with service mostly focussed on hard sell than guest experience. Once we ordered and what it looked like there was no more sales opportunity we were left alone with nobody attending the table even when we had empty drink glasses.

Food was great, service not at the top of what we were expecting from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. We waiting quite long for our drinks, almost 15 minutes for a bottle of wine and 2 cocktails. The time we were ready to place the order for food they told us there was something was missing, nothing personal but I expect to be advised when I start to have a look at the menu and no at the last. We order also some ravioli but the waiter forgot to told us there was no more left and instead to told us they bring a portion of linguine with the same sauce, what a shame! We asked why and then they told us there was no more and we send back. Without saying anything they bring for us a medium burger that my friend left almost all because she doesn’t like medium but she prefers well done.

The food was fantastic and the staff was very nice and considerate. We had a vegetarian with us so the staff made sure we are aware of what is included in the food we chose, without us asking for it. We also enjoyed the live music, it created a lovely ambience.

I had emailed to confirm they would be showing the Royal wedding. They replied they would be so i made the booking based on this. They did not have the television set up and when they finally got it working after the wedding had started the television kept cutting out and turning off the whole way through the wedding disappointing for such a big event. I also requested my order a certain way this was written down by the server but ignore and the food came as on the menu not as requested. It was not busy so one would assume service would be of a good standard. Disappointing I will not be returning.

The meal was particularly good and the service during the meal was excellent. The staff realised that my party of 3 were engaged in conversation and so left us to chatter. It was at that point there was a change of staff after which we were totally ignored. We failed to draw attention when we wanted to pay the bill and it took a remonstration with a member of staff to obtain it. We received an apology and the removal of the service charge. Such incidents spoil the occasion and this was no exception!

Went to Heddon Street Kitchen with a friend for dinner and really love the food and atmosphere here. We did the 2 course menu and except that they charge extra for the side dishes (which I think should be included in the price) then I think the choice and value of the menu is good. The staff is also really nice and attentive - so will go again.

A bit unremarkable. I'd been for breakfast and was impressed. It seemed less impressive for atmosphere for our dinner booking. It was not very busy, which says is all for a Saturday evening. Food was OK, but nothing special. Service was good.

We had a good time here. Good menu choices for a pescatarian, although maybe a couple more for veggies or vegans would be nice. Lovely wine waiter who was very helpful. I liked the decor and the food was good. Solid performance

- Too loud music in the restaurant made it hard to talk.
- To dark lightning in the restaurant made it difficult to read the menu.
- the visa terminals broke down, and we had to wait for 30 mins to get to pay the bill. I then had to find an ATM to pay with cash.
- food: excellent!!

A dinner to remember for all the wrong reasons.
Despite it not being particularly busy our cocktails took and incredible long time to arrive. The sommelier was busy talking to one of our guests and asked him to taste his drink even though 4/10 had yet to receive their drinks. This also meant he drank before we toasted to our guest of honour.
When we ordered food the waitress didn’t know the difference between the cuts of meat and was having difficulty explaining which of the cuts they didn’t have in.
The food was ok but 2 people in our group who ordered fish and one person who ordered the pork belly all said the sources were far too over powering. The super food salad is also 90% kale so I would not recommend to anyone that wants a variety of tastes in their salad.
During the meal a member of our group went to refill her glass of wine herself because we were not being waited on, the sommelier rushed over to tell her she shouldn’t mix her wines and she knew she had started with a different wine. I felt this was quite rude as it undermined a customer and made her feel embarrassed.
After this insistent the sommelier was no where to be found.
I will not be returning to this restaurant and would advise others in a group not to go.

I expected so much more from a celebrity chef’s establishment. The food was lacking flavor and finesse. There was a texture component to the dishes but overall fell cheap and overpriced.

Tuna tartare was delicious, everything else was mediocre. Maybe my expectations were too high since this is a Gordon Ramsey establishment. There was no salt in the macaroni, sea bass was fishy tasting and I can cook a ribeye at home that taste better than the one served.

I am a bit surprised Gordon Ramsay puts his name to this relaxed, yet unremarkable place. The decor is quite middle of the road, although comfortable. Does it really need a television though? The staff are pleasant and efficient (although it was quiet, and on a Saturday lunchtime so make of that what you will), though they are extremely heavy on the upsell. No, we don't want water, nuts, olives, bread, cocktails, wine or another drink. Quite happy with my cocktail and some food, thank you! I don't think the waiting staff visited the table without trying to part us with some more cash! The food is of a good standard and was enjoyable, although hideously expensive and certainly not matching in quality. £39.00 for fillet and another £5.50 for chips. You may as well walk through the door and open your wallet. Plenty of other comfort food options in this part of town, so won't be visiting again.

Fantastic service from the very attentive waitstaff but it actually took 1 hour for the main course to arrive. The fish and chips, steak and pork belly were all cooked well. The tomato soup according to my daughter was the best on planet earth. The chef was very accommodating and even had us come to the kitchen for a group picture!
