The food lived up to expectations and was very good. Service was very polite but a bit more cookie cutter than I would expect in a restaurant at this level. Two items we ordered never showed up though they also didn't appear on the bill. Perhaps the server was new. He was very nice though.
we had the unlimited prosecco brunch - the service is a relatively friendly from the waiters.
we were booked in for 7.30 dinner on a Saturday night, service felt very rushed and main course was just warm.
shame had all the makings of a good night.
would try again
Went for pancakes on pancake day. Good variety, tasty pancakes. Sent out wrong orders to our table.
Consistent and good for a quick business lunch and some healthy options
Good setting but very poor value, priced a bit like a tourist trap. Food was ok, but not much of it and massively over priced for basic fare. Overall very disappointed and wouldn't go back.
Very quiet on Sunday evening so not much atmosphere. Had run out of the Beef Sunday roast option so offered Rib eye instead which was delicious. Only problem was they did not bring any of the Sunday roast accompaniments like roast potatoes, veg, Yorkshire pudding etc and just served the meat. When I asked for the accompaniments I received potatoes and veg but still NO Yorkshire pudding... didn’t bother asking again. The overall food was delicious but Sunday evening not good time if you’re looking for atmosphere.
Yet another great evening
Celebrating 2 birthdays.
The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and attentive
Great atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable staff. Disappointed at the menu choices and the increase in costs since my last visit. Ice cream bar still fun though.
Lovely super attentive server and host. My family and I love visiting Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants across the world and this restaurant was top notched like the rest. Very pretty ambience and the food was great.
Food very average, service slow and unorganised. We sat at the bar area for a drink and the hostess forgot about us; had to ask four different staff until we got to our table. Table was in a middle of staff footpath; I was hit on the head twice before asking to move. Food was boring and presentation basic. The mains arrived without cutlery on the table; we had to ask for cutlery which is unheard off. Waiter made a mistake on the wine and try to upsell us a bottle for £50 more. Desert was fine.
Overall poor I would not go back and I would not recommend.
Heddon Street Kitchen was our choice for a lunch pre-theatre matinee. The One's On Us menu had a nice selection of dishes which we both enjoyed - tasty and satisfying without over-filling.
Love this place, but tonight they were out of the wine we wanted and they ran out of Sticky Toffee Pudding, on a Wednesday night! Disappointing since we were there for a birthday (which I had mentioned in my reservation but there was no acknowledgment). The saving grace? Chef Ramsay's Beef Wellington, need I say more? yum!
Nice food , attentive staff
