Hemingway's Wine Room
The concept for Hemingway’s Wine Room was fashioned after a couple of bottles of Chablis one late wintery Melbourne afternoon. The idea - to create a beautiful neighbourhood destination to share food and wine for every occasion.
Inspired by New York and Paris in the 1920s, our neighbours can choose to dine in our moody brasserie or enjoy a moveable feast in our wine bar.
Whether you are a local or travelling from afar, we want to make your experience a memorable one every time you visit.

Outstanding food , drinks and service. Will definitely be going back!
The only disappointment was the attitude of the manager. He had over charged us and when that was pointed out to him the response was quite surly. Surprised us as that is not what we expect from a hospitality professional. Certainly not from someone in that position in a restaurant of that calibre.
Spoiled what was until then a lovely evening with delicious food and pleasant service.
Excellent food, great service and ambience...really enjoyable experience overall!
Just incredible. The staff is knowledgeable, the food is to die for (all of it) and the cocktails are dangerously delicious. Couldn't recommend it more.
Excellent service in all fields on two separate occasions.
We had a wonderful experience with very attentive staff and excellent food
Fantastic food and service
We were so lucky to get a table on opening night. We have had dinner deliveries from Hemingways which were Devine but being there was a treat. The food, service and ambiance far exceeded our expectations. Thank you
