Really enjoy. Live music a bit loud but that’s just as I’m a bit old😊. Service brilliant and fab big screen. Food super.

A superb atmosphere. Great service.
Acoustic guitar set followed by skilled traditional musicians. Good mix of people, locals and visitors. Food is great value.
Definitely have to book a table don't leave it to chance.

I went on Saturday night with a friend and the meal was awful. I had red thai chicken curry and it was dreadful. My friend had chicken taglettile and it was dreadful. Then the alarm went off some idiot set of deliberately. The waiter told us we were lucky because the kitchen had to close because of the alarm. We booked the table for 7.30 and was told kitchen closes at 8. Never again.

Happy to recommend but feel the dining experience could be better managed. Having dining tables double up as bar tables meant having to wait on people being moved and asking a number of staff to get seated. That said the food was very good, well cooked, flavoursome and good value. Henrys as a bar is very nice, modern and well staffed. A personal preference would be for greater choice in beers.

All in all a nice meal and happy to recommend for casual dining.

Service and staff were lovely and very helpful . However the food was not . Kids fish’s and chips was extremely greasy and inedible . Although staff were very apologetic and didn’t charge us . Chicken Caesar salad x 2 wasn’t good either ... chicken had obviously been cooked the day before and it was hard and dried up ! Hubby’s steak sandwich was lovely so only decent food we had . Overall a very disappointing bank holiday treat for family

Overall was an excellent night. Food, service and atmosphere were great. The only slight issue I had was that it wasn't made clear that the table was only available for 2 hours when I booked and we only discovered this when we arrived. Still a really enjoyable night. Thank you!

Henry,s lived up to reputation,
good table in corner for five persons, drinks served promptly by a very pleasant young lady who gave us just enough time to study menu before taking our order for food.
Everyone in the company enjoyed their meal,I noticed the quality was a lot better than some other bars about the city,so keep the standard up,
I have suggested to my work colleagues that they should try Henty,s as I am sure they won’t be dissapointed.

I loved the food there, we have been several times for special occasions. The only thing I would say though is the Cheeseboard was very disappointing. £17 for 2 with not a lot on it is quite a lot to pay. We had the Cheeseboard when it was McCrackens (many a times) and that was by far better!

Table booked for 5pm, shown to wrong table by staff, reserved name on table for a different party, thought we might have to move, but didn't. Put in drinks order and waited 15 mins for drinks to come, when they did one of the drinks was wrong. Also no glass came for the coke, had to wait again for the glass. Food order taken waited another 22 minutes for the food to come, when it did only two meals arrived not three. Had to ask waitress for the third meal which took another 6 minutes. Meanwhile the first two meals started to go cold so they started to eat without me, The late meal was Lamb Shank in Stout sauce, The sauce was tomato based and poured over everything, no mention of tomato sauce on the menu. Lamb Shank was tough and not falling off the bone, it wasnt cooked enough and thats why it was late being served. I sent it back but when the staff returned and i was told "Thats the way we serve it here" I was then provided with another meal which was fine. When i booked the table i was lead to believe i was booking a table in Henry's Restaurant but it turned out to be a very loud Sports Bar. We were seated with dozens of Rugby and football supporters shouting and gearing at multiple screens. Overall my experience of this Saturday evening dining was poor from service through surrounding and poor, poor food. I am willing to discuss this mater further with you and should you wish to do so please contact me on 07776141930. Thank You, Philip Graham

Henrys is a hidden Gem! From discovering it on Instagram I couldn't wait to finally get to experience the live music and great food they advertise! And it lived up to what I had hoped!
Food was amazing and the atmosphere is everything a lover of trad music could want. I would defiantly recommend! Hope to return soon for a family occasion.

Only downside is if booking through Open Table you may think you are booking into Henry's where in fact they might put you at a table in the sister bar 'Jailhouse' next door. It is more of a bar than restaurant were no one at the time seems to be having any food and tables are at high stools. Luckily due to people sitting at the table they had reserved for us they moved us back to a table in Henry's which was much better as Jailhouse didn't have the type of atmosphere we were looking.

Fab early evening here with my daughter after shopping.
Great value for money.
Attentive and professional service from a very friendly and sociable waiter who made us feel very welcome.
Whilst noise levels were very high we felt it just added to the overall atmosphere of a busy Saturday in Belfast.
Can’t wait for my next visit.

If you book a table make sure you get confirmation in writing or like me you could find yourself out of pocket 8 people taxis to Belfast and back to Carrickfergus because the table I booked for Xmas dinner could not be found in there system . So as it was December no chance of any restaurants taking us.so £80 down . Such a pity as was there the previous week and had a ball 😢

The only negative is that we were in a corner eating seven of us and we couldn't hear ourselves because of the loud speaker above our heads as it was very noisy, we asked the waiter to turn it down which he did and it made all the difference.
Food and service was spot on, I'll be back.
