   The setting is beautiful, great cocktails, and amazing service. Unfortunately the steak was a let down, the outside was burnt and it was tough, and the rest of the sides were just ok. At 175 for two of us we felt this was not good value for money given we didn't enjoy our steak, which was the main event.

   Blown away by just how good the food was! The owners were an absolute delight as well and were so chatty and the staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble! Will definitely be coming back!

   Food was ok. Portions not huge. Shortcake dessert consisted only of crumbs not actual shortcake! Overall was expensive and feel as though we didn’t get value for money.

   Great little venue, but still having a few opening or teething issues. Missed off a starter and served a raw burger. Would we go back. Definitely Would we recommend? Sure but give them a few weeks. Did the staff look after us? 100% yes There was more reasons to go back than not. 👍🏻

   I'm going to give them the benefit of doubt considering they're newly opened - it has a load of promise and room for lots of improvement. To start with, we walked in off the street at 7:45 into an area which looks like they're should be someone greeting you there - but there wasn't. We waited a couple of minutes before walking further into the building where we got to the bar and were greeted by 2 very friendly bar staff and then the headwaiter arrived. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a cocktail before sitting down. The headwaiter informed us that they didn't have certain items on the menu - one of which was the only starter my Wife wanted so we made our alternate choices. I had the scallops which were right on the line of being cooked enough - I think others would've returned them. My Wife chose the tempura broccoli which came with a lovely sticky sauce so this helped overcome her disappointment at not being able to have the burrata. The bread came on a ridiculously big piece of wood with a huge slab of butter - it was tasty but the presentation was confusing. For mains, we asked our waitress for some advice. She was honest enough to tell us it was her 1st shift so she couldn't answer the questions we had however she didn't make an effort to get some support from her colleagues. Our steaks were decent enough but both slightly overcooked as I asked for mine to be medium/rare and my Wife asked for medium/well done - we were still ok with eating them as they were. We asked for chips, lettuce and cabbage as sides and got chips, cabbage and broccoli. I couldn't actually remember what we'd ordered at the time and it was only when we got the bill that it was confirmed that we'd ordered lettuce. The chips were decent but the cabbage was too charred. Onto dessert - my Wife mentioned that she'd not seen any other tables with them and it soon became obvious as to why - they only had a couple of choices neither of which we took. Lots of potential - lots of areas to improve

    As soon as you walk into Herd you are greeted with friendly staff and a great atmosphere, the decor is elegantly done with a nod to the history of the building with a modern twist. The cocktail menu was excellent with something for everyone and watching the cocktails being made adds a little bit of theatre before being seated. We were a party of six and we all had starters mains a lot of sides and desserts and I can honestly say that all the food was amazing! Every steak we all had was cooked to perfection and top quality, in fact all the ingredients were top quality! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, we’ve Herd (pardon the pun! ;-) that the Sunday roast dinners are amazing so we will be going back to try those next! Great night!

    Food and service was good but sadly the restaurant was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon and lacked a little atmosphere. Would definitely go again and maybe try it out in the evening

    Staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was excellent just a shame a few things weren't available on the menu that we wanted. Would still recommend and hope the restaurant is a success.

    The place has been decorated very well, staff very friendly, drinks good (bit pricey), food delicious. Although price on menu is literally just for the steak, everything else ordered as extras. But steak best I've had!

    Wow, what a place. Such a welcoming entrance and a real cool vibe. Definitely the place to be for outstanding food and amazing cocktails. Can see this being a regular place for me. Great work guys and girls.
