The restaurant had a great ambiance, staff was extremely friendly. They went out of their way to serve us excellent wine by the glass pairing nicely with the courses we had. The food was just splendid, we especially enjoyed the beef tartar, which was prepared at our table. All and all great experience and value for money. We cannot wait to go back soon!
I really wanted to love this place. Great vibe and ambiance. So nice to have place in the location that’s not so hipster and loud & unbearably trendy
Music was nice and non intrusive.
The menu was heavy though delicious and quite pricey & i would
Have a concern that It’s not going to appeal to everyone. Meat yes but accompanied with lots of cheese. Don’t get me
Wrong I love both, but their salad options were limited.
Service and ambiance was excellent. Maybe a tweaking of the menu and I’d definitely be back.
The beef tartare has so little flavour.
Try Eneko’s version which in my opinion is the best beef tartare in London.
Either drop from the menu or taste better than the competition.
Desserts are weak in taste. Good show with flame but nothing to write home about in terms of flavours and layers.
Priced at Michelin Star level but not sure that is what the chef is going for.
Fantastic food and lovely service. Interesting menu, and everything was top notch. We all loved everything about it.
Great food, great service. A real treat for a soecil occasion dinner. Would come back to try the cocktails too!
Overprice for the quality and flavor of the food.
Service was good but a little stuffy.
Restaurant was empty during soft launch which made sense considering I left thinking I paid too much for what I had (paying 50% off the food).
The only thing I think was well executed was the Rosti .
The Meat cheese fondu lacked in flavor and was very heavy.
A Bad surprise came with the bill as we ordered a bottle of wine that was 52£ by the bottle, however I ordered it seeing the price by the glass (175ml) for 8.5£
When I advised the staff that the price should be around 37£ (a bottle being 750ml = 175ml x 4.2), the manager came to lecture me that the difference in price was made to account for the wine loss every restaurant has. So it's up to customer to pay 16£ difference PER bottle to accommodate the restaurant lack of bar management. The bill was rectified, but I would still call that a scam as a lot of unaware customer are going to pay for that 33% over priced wine.
Overall, the prices are higher than some Michelin star restaurants in London and the food is nowhere near as good.
Beautiful restaurant with great service, but unfortunately the food was not the best, especially for the price. Beef tartare was very dry in texture, and the rosti was uninspiring. The dishes generally lacked flavour and I would not return.
We had a portion of meat cheese fondue. It's really good but recommend having one starter to share between 2 people also to fill your bellies up. The tea - oh dear - is phenomenal. So niche! Definitely would come back for a treat.
Classy restaurant serving delicious food. Meat, cheese, potatoes - what's not to love? We enjoyed sharing a rosti and then the meat fondue. The pot held just the right amount of cheese for the meat. We ended up slathering it on top as that seemed easier than dipping it. Service was super friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the chilled water on such a hot day. Very central location. Really enjoyed our meal and hope to return.
