It was amazing
Overall experience was very good, but I can’t say it was excellent though. My almond milk curled up in my cup of a very fancy coffee and the waitress tried to convince me, quite defensively, that it’s supposed to be this way and it always happens. Nevermind, it got changed afterwards anyway. The eggs royal and benedict were good, was expecting more from that banana bread that is baked before serving apperantly. The highlight was the cinnamon bun! But it is strictly my opinion as I have a sweet tooth. The interior is lovely and the staircase is a masterpiece no doubt. Would probably try a tasting menu to have a real Michelin star feel of this place
Amazing waitstaff, wonderful and inventive food, beautiful decor
Service was perfect and we all had a wonderful time.
Very classy restaurant with amazing food and service
Very good at catering for allergies
Great place for dinner in the heart of Mayfair, nice and cozy bar downstairs, lift with a secret floor )
Was there for lunch. Didn’t like the menu much. And food doesn’t worth the price you are paying
The promised beautiful views of Green Park were masked by major hoardings across the frontage of the restaurant . The quiet , discreet table I’d asked for was right next to the waiting staff serving station so it was busy and there were frequent distractions .
The food is beautiful and refined (and therefore small portions) but incredibly expensive compared to other similarly cheffy alternatives in town. The bread was probably the highlight.
I have to say I was really dissapointed and wouldn’t choose to visit again. It’s a shame because I supply recommendations to others and this wouldn’t be one.
Absolutely impeccable service. Every course was surprising and fresh and delicious. The best dining experience we had in London by far. Elegant, refined but unpretentious. Warm, inviting, with beautiful rustic touches. If this is the future of London dining it could become one of the world’s great culinary cities.
Came for breakfast, liked everything. Service, ambiance and pretty much everything you can think of is thought through but feels relaxed and accommodating at the same time. Food for breakfast is good, but pastry deserves a separate mention, very well crafted.
Very high quality food with great service. Not amazing ambience however it was midweek mid morning breakfast. Expensive but fairly priced for the area and quality.
Excellent food and service. A little expensive. Very good overall.
This place is fantastic! We arrived early with enough time to go to the bar. Drinks not only looked great, but tasted great as well. The restaurant is beautiful with an earthy feel. They have over 30,000 bottles of wine and the sommelier really knows his stuff. Great recommendation on the wine, was perfect. The staff was professional and highly attentive and fun! The food was outstanding, so creative, highly intelligent cooking. We ordered the breads and charcuterie to start, wonderful. My husband had the onion soup (in an onion), nice! I got the beet root salad - so fresh and clean. For the main we ordered the pork - cooked to perfection. For dessert you must order the acorn cake. Overall, a wonderful evening, really made our last night in London super special. Thank you to the team at Hide for the experience!
Wonderfull - we loved it <3 we’re coming back ♥️
Breakfast at Hide Ground was spectacular. Simple dish yet they were able to elevate the taste and presentation of their food. The pastry selections are great and unique. Would highly recommend it and would definitely come back for breakfast again and look forward to try their lunch/dinner!
Need to have better mains and cheaper mains all mains at £38 pounds are pricey. Need to have better fish. Steamed seabass was lucking flavour and was actually like a soup:( starters were amazing! Loved flavours and textures. Desert selection not great but tried sorbet and ice cream and it was amaZing! Needs more variety on mains. And burrate needs more garnish.
Very accommodating when I turned up with one extra guest.
Would highly recommend..
Awesome sommelier and service staff. Brilliant food.
I’ve been married for a while and we’re always looking for new experiences. The food here was outstanding but the atmosphere is dry.
A bit pretentious. Sommelier rushed off when he realised we weren't spending £10,000 on a bottle!
Very Nice place, lovely staff and Nice food but way too pricey! Paying 40£ for a Glazed octopus is not fair.
Both the downstairs and upstairs restaurants are great. It's both possible and comfortable to have a 2 hour celebratory lunch here, which is nice.
Food is creative but not alarming, and very well prepared.
Went for a brunch. Really nice interior. Food was good but small portions. Service wasn’t bad but wasn’t up to par other michelin starred restaurants.
Everything is great. Ambience and design outstanding. Food perfectly cooked by the book. Michelin experience even at the ground floor. I wouldn’t go back because of the menu, but there isn’t anything to criticize about this flag. Service is another level as well.
It was ok but overrated to my mind. I was expecting more though that might be just my own expectations and problem :)))
It was good food and nice ambiance but nothing extraordinary what would make me coming back.
Food and service are amazing!
Very good food, quite expensive not for everyday dining
The food was outstanding, the presentation was outstanding. I dine in Michelin Star restaurants regularly and the portions were too small and the prices were quite high for the items. Eg £9 for a pastry. Some aspects of the service were slow
An excellent lunch. Both food and service were top notch.
Amazing and beautifully presented food. Knowledgeable members of staff. Will come back again.
We had shared starters which were all outstanding
Mixed views on the mains sea bass wonderful but lamb served cold and chewy meat
Overall enjoyed the restaurant and the serving staff were very attentive without being intrusive
Breakfast was very good. Truffle on scrambled eggs was delicious and the selection of fresh juices complimented the breakfast menu nicely
Excellent service and an interesting menu. The acorn cake dessert is not to be missed.
Very good food! Only felt they rushed the mains after the starters.
Food was very average. The aged ribeye was too chewy. The best was the potato.
Excellent meal. Good drinks at the bar downstairs. Knowledgeable staff, sommelier a bit overconfident. Food came out too fast (starters on the table within a few minutes after ordering). Quality is top notch.
Didn't enjoy my choices, and truffle pasta both a tiny (mean) portion and too al dente. My colleague's main course choice of the deer was lovely.
An interesting restaurant and wouldn't say never again, but not my favourite I'm afraid.
Absolutely terrible food for unreasonable price! They try to make an illusion of fine dining with creative design, but in fact it’s simply untasty.
