Great selection of coffee and tea, great smk eel omelette, English breakfast a little under whelming, good preserves. Great service.
The table was required 2 hours after we sat down but we we
We came to HIDE to enjoy an afternoon tea after some Christmas window shopping. It was a lovely cosy spot to come into from the cold. The hosts made sure that we were settled comfortably and the sommelier recommended the perfect champagne to go with our menu. Once we received our feast, the staff expertly managed the balance between attending to our needs and giving us privacy. The food itself was exquisite. One of the cakes sent me into a two minute state of euphoria where all conversation had to stop while I momentarily cheated on my husband with the dainty morsel. Overall, I would highly recommend HIDE to anyone looking for a well co-ordinated, tasty and beautiful food experience.
attention to detail was great for a friends birthday breakfast thank you.
Very nice experience. Nice environment and beautiful food
great for wine lovers (unfortunately, could not have a glass as I had to work afterwards). Limited menu but well cooked - nice but not a must have.
Enjoyed my meal but felt that something was missing. Food was good but execution could be better. Enjoyed the Lam Hot Pot dish however
seemed like it would be a fun restaurant but ended up being crazy expensive
They were pleasant when we arrived but that quickly turned to asking us repeatedly about drinks, a champagne cart, and pushing us to order before we barely had a chance to review the menu.
The portions are tiny, very tiny, especially for the price. The food was tasty but not extraordinary. Not as good as other restaurants we visited in London.
The restaurant is a must to see, loved the bar area and the staff were very friendly. The food was poor, pasta with truffle not cooked and 8 small pieces for 42 pounds
I would only visit again for the bar but pass on the food. Prices are roughly 120 pounds pp
No ambiance, terrible wine service. Average food. Couldn’t believe they have a Michelin
Great venue and food with very good service and wine list.
Lovely atmosphere and good quality food even for breakfast. Only downside is it's a tad pricey.
Very beautiful place, worth going just to see the decor, very organic ambience, lots of wood, very spacious, incredible service, amazing wine list and seasonal ingredients with the twist.
Pricey, but worth every penny.
Breakfast is a must!
Best ingredients and the most incredible wine list.
If you can afford 120-150£ pp dinner, this is the place to be ( and hide) . In fact, you can't really hide there, lots of people you know will be at the tables nearby.
Pretty much everything was a delightful expirience apart from a rather chewy octopus main course.
The complaint wasn’t dealt very professionally considering the calibre of your place
We were told that we could have another of the same dish but would be the same or we could change it. We ended up change for a nice land dish but no manager ever apologise and I ended up eating alone my mine coure, paid for both and no compeeansion offered. Not ideal when the bill came to £200 per person!
I will come back soon！！！It’s really nice place！！
This is a great restaurant! Beautiful interior, excellent food, great wine selection and very good service. We are pleased to come again!
This is my first time dine in the hide ground. I’ve gained good experience with the hide above for both lunch and dinner. However the Hide Ground turned out to be such disappointing experience. The lady who served us was very inappropriate and all over the place. After push through the order, she never came back to check with us again. We need to find people times to order drinks etc. The food was disappointing too, tiny portion very pricy, flavour wise is just average. The dessert is overly sweet. At the end the lady made mistakes on our bill. Such a disappointing pricy meal.
I was disappointed with my main course, baked cod, the dish was served luke warm and fish was slimy.
My fellow guests were more impressed with their food, pricey for small portions.
It was a birthday lunch for my husband. Both the service and food was superb. The onion soup was definitely the star dish! The sommelier was also really helpful with our selections. The interior is warm and beautiful. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion!
Second time at Hide and found it excellent again. Very buzzy and fun atmosphere, the food was outstanding (go for the beef for two, even if only for the sides) and the Hedonism arrangement means that you can drink wines that you would otherwise never drink at a restaurant
Nice staff. Great service. We had a very nice time. For sure we will return here.
Great service ans food
Amazing Food, great wine and a lovely waitress.
Next level. On all counts. Impossible to be disappointed. Possibility the best wine list in London too
Fabulous decor (the staircase is a thing of beauty), food was UNbelievable and the wine list blew my mind. The staff were all very attentive, although we had to wait for a while for drinks, but everything else about the experience was top-notch.
Took my partner for his birthday. Tasty food with excellent service.
Fantastic atmosphere and food. Great location and view!
Good service but relatively average vegetarian food. Excellent wine collection though.
Incredible if not daunting wine list, although the sommelier could benefit from some people skills, we were able to try a few great selections although with a small but delicious tasting menu... treat yourself and order the white truffles!
Really bad food. Lots of pretense but no substance and no taste. In a strange way everything had a smoked flavor or carmelized
Excellent food and ambiance. A must for fine-dining fans
The food was unremarkable and overpriced, and the service was rushed to enforce the two-hour seating. They've obviously spent a lot on internal decor, but the view of Green Park is currently obscured by scaffolding. There are much better places to spend that kind of money.
We were impressed with the quality of the food, wine, level of knowledge of somelier and ambience
Experience was fantastic. Food was really good, but the service made it. Couldn’t have asked for more from anyone!
Particularly the waiter (forgot his name, Ishmael?) who was preparing the private rooms downstairs. Amazing personality, true asset to the business.
Service was excellent and personal. Food beautifully prepared but pricey. Bottle we ordered had to be delivered and would have taken 15 mins (odd and not acceptable) so chose the House wine which was moderately good. Ambiance was good but could be noisy if restaurant is full. Overall enjoyable lunch with a friend
The food is good-to-very-good, and the wine list is excellent. But it costs approximately 1.5-1.75x what it should cost for this type of meal. Two flatbreads, carrot tartare, two mains, and one dessert, plus a £52 half bottle of wine, shouldn't come out to £240. Especially if none of those things were life changing. All of it was good, but this place is too overpriced to bother returning.
Exquisite service with attention to detail, fashionable food, a modern yet rustic and natural interior, and a wine list to die for with all the glory that comes with access to the cellar at Hedonism Wines. Be ready to open your wallet and say goodbye to its contents, but it's a treat you will not forget. Don't miss the chicken liver parfait, it is DIVINE.
This is our second time at Hide Ground and I was not impressed. The starter pumpkin soup wasn’t very good and pricey (£18) for a starter. The main was okay but nothing to write home about. The service was rushed with the waitresses coming too often, we had the whole meal in less than an hour. The place is beautifully designed but it’s is very noisy.
Fabulous food and wine, very romantic atmosphere
