Beautiful restaurant! Fantastic food and service. Would defiantly recommend and make it a regular visit.
Amazing food. Would highly recommend the tapas it was outstanding
After more years in the City than I care to remember Hispania remains my favourite restaurant.
Juan and his team are always incredibly attentive and charming. The food is of the highest quality and provides a genuine Spanish culinary experience in EC3
Amazing food, elegant setting yet with a feel at home vibe. Great service and we’ll go back soon. On the expensive range but worth it.
I had an excellent lunch last Friday with two business contacts. The staff were excellent and so was the food. Recommended.
Food and service top class, the table we had wsa very noisy and difficult to hear at times.
Always excellent food and service, the best Tapas in the city
Fantástico como siempre. Todos lo disfrutamos mucho.
Manager David was helpful and knowledgeable about the wines. He was able to give us excellent advice for wines matching our food. All other staff members were courteous and keen to give us best dining experience. Food was very good, albeit small portions. Ingredients were fresh and the presentation thoughtful and flavour complicated and delicate. The restaurant ambience was cool and warm at the same time, friendly and sophisticated. It was a rare find in the often overwhelming, over exaggerated food venues in the City.
One of the best restaurants in The City. Classy. Understated. Brilliant service.
Food was fantastic. Only criticism is that the tables are too close together so it’s hard to be discrete or not overbearing the next table.
Fantastic food and extraordinary service, always a pleasure to eat here.
Excellent food and service. A must in the City!
I would have given a higher rating if one the the waiters (not the one that waited on us most of the evening) hadn't been incredibly rude when we asked for a couple of drinks after dinner and he refused to serve them while saying in a rather stroppy manner: "If I serve you those drinks now, we will be here all night". My friend and I chatted for another 45 min or so, drinking water. When we left, there were still several tables full of people that did not look like they were going anywhere, so essentially we would have had more than enough time for a drink.
Anyway, the service was good and all dishes were nice (a couple of them were excellent). Overall, I'd say the restaurant was noticeably better before the pandemic.
Fantastic as always
Genial come siempre! El servicio es impecable y la comida, excepcional!
Dissapointing - bread roll was rock hard, food was average with no memorable flavour although presentation was good. Waitress poured sparkling into my still glass of water and the cheese board wasn't impressive.
Nice restaurant set up- really good table spacing and attentive service. Some of the tapas a little heavy and greasy but generally very good and many items really good. But at 11 when we wanted coffees and drinks we were told the bar was closed and the coffee machine was off. Strange way to end an evening and a little disappointing that service just ended abruptly without warning.
Great food, very friendly staff, good atmosphere - como siempre.
Lovely restaurant, fantastic service, great food
This is an excellent Spanish resturant. The food is high standard & the decor is outstanding. Staff are very professional. I took friends who were visiting from the USA - they were very impressed.
Everything about this place is first class - the coldness of wine is a good measure. A good restaurant doesn’t sell warm white wine. And many expensive restaurants are not good.
This place is clean - sparkling even - and the food is hot - another giveaway of a poor expensive restaurant.
This isn’t expensive, either. And the wine menu has very reasonable quality wines.
All in all, for those who’ve missed their Spanish sun during covid, come here and at least have some great, authentic Spanish food. It’s the next best thing.
Excellent service and food was impressive. Highly recommended to anyone.
Supervisor David and Fran one of the waiters were very friendly and professional. Will 100% come back for some quality spanish food
Had a lovely lunch. I especially enjoyed the suckling pig.
Food, service and ambience were outstanding. We will be back without a doubt
The room is beautiful and the restaurant has a great ambience, but…
The food is good but lacks something. The monkfish was excellent, but everything else was unmemorable. Squid, fine. Tuna ceviche, ok. Croquetas, meh; way too creamy. And the meatballs? Unbelievably expensive at £16 for two!
Price to value is the real issue. £140 for 5 tapas and a moderate bottle of wine then it should be better than this.
Oh and I did not appreciate the waitress inviting us to leave an additional tip. When I pointed out that service was included she said but that is split 50/50 with our restaurant (very poor form if true) so many people like to leave more. At this price point they should be paying the staff fairly.
Having worked nearby this restaurant for a number of years, I am so annoyed I have only just tried it now. It is fantastically authentic. Really genuine spanish ingredients and staff with a perfect ambience to match. It costs slightly more than you might expect to typically pay but trust me, it's worth every penny.
Well prepared food and good service.
A true feeling of authenticity.
This a a favourite of mine. Exceptional refined and fine Spanish tapas food in the city of london. The ingredients used are of the highest quality and are caressed with love and artistry to produce an amazing culinary experience.
Great experience - fantastic food. Great choice of dishes - prompt service
Amazing food and atmosphere , staff very professional and welcoming too , highly recommend it for a special occasion will be visiting again soon.
Excellent as always. A must go in the City. Great food and atmosphere.
Excelente atención good ambience David ha sido un extraordinario anfitrión. Nos ha echo sentir en casa.
Profesionalidad de todo el equipo.
Spanish restaurant with Spanish speaking staff. Surprised there was no paella but the meatballs were excellent and so was the
Iberian ham. We had a selection and everybody ate everything.
Fantastic and creative food with exceptional service. 5* - will go again!
Muy agradable. Una buena experiencia como siempre.
Great service and both of us liked the restaurant’s decoration. Food was pretty good too
Wonderful food, excellent service. Very helpful waiting staff - love this place.
Loved it. Great service, lovely food. Will be back
Una experiencia estupenda, como siempre. Gracias a todos.
