Great casual place. Decent food, fresh beer. Staff still in training. Great entertainment kept small crowd engaged.

So impressed with the customer service. We requested outside seating even though inside was open and they had live music. We are still nervy about eating inside. No one was outside, yet our request to be there was met with courtesy.

Our waiter was Elaine (my Mom asked her her name 5 times). She was very personable and attentive. Also the manager was there, helping to deliver the tons of food we ordered and came by a few times to ask if we were OK.

I recommend this place whole heartedly.

It was my first time there but it will not be my last very enjoyable

I have been to Cleveland and Pittsburgh the Buffalo Hofbrauhaus is a blast.

Lindsey our server was awesome! Very friendly and gave great recommendations. We felt comfortable outside in the heated patio area as no one was near us. The food was very good and enjoyed a couple of beers. Definitely will go back! I look forward to indoor dining there once it is safe again. It looks like it would be a lot of fun!

Our server was outstanding, very friendly and anything we ordered came very quick. The manager was extremely accommodating and let us sit where we wanted to. I would highly recommend this place for parties, watching the BILLS games and other celebrations. Hofbrauhaus Buffalo was awesome!!

Recently stopped for some light food and beer. Very enjoyable experience. Food and beer is limited however under the times we are experiencing that is understandable. A must see restaurant and brewery

Second time there and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Once the restaurant restrictions have lifted and Hofbrauhaus has it's long awaited grand opening, this place will be the place to go!!

Great ambiance and very comfortable outdoor dining in the winter.

Good food, though can't wait until the soft opening menu becomes a full menu.

6 of us ate dinner. Could have been a little more on the plates and my glass of wine was so small. For the cost of the food and beverage we should have had a little more.

Love HB. Beer is great and the food is awesome. They did an amazing job with the outside during the stupid pandemic and the freezing cold. Their staff is friendly and welcoming, just what you expect!

A new and great place to go!! The staff was very friendly and fun!! Our waitress went above and beyond to answer our many questions regarding the menu (we’re not of German descendant)!! We definitely enjoyed the food - not to mention all the great cold beers!! We’ll be back very soon!!

Second time there and had an outstanding time each visit. Bands are great and I love the openness of the brew hall. Can't wait till they open fully to sample their full menu. Will definitely be a regular!

Took the family there tonight and was treated like royalty. The Staff there were so solid and very nice. I felt like I went back in time to when I went to Germany. I can say wholeheartedly that I will be coming back for some more yummy beer and great food. I want to give a shout out to our waitress, The Service Manager and the Director of Operations for the great time and Hospitality that they showed us while there. Just another thing that reminded me of going to Germany but it was right here in Buffalo NY. This restaurant is just wunderbar.

The food was delicious and the beer tasted even better. The building is absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to see it at full capacity.

Surprisingly the sauerkraut wasn’t, served almost like soup. Hopefully they find their footing.

As first timers, and I having some German ancestry, my wife and I can both say in unison, ”It was Wunderbar!” Also were very pleased to sit outside with affable Ryan as our server who praised his employer and atmosphere!

Was. not. happy about the $5.00 parking charge most restaurants do not. charge me to park

Food was excellent, prices were good, service was good. Band was way too loud, and played fro too long of a set. my group couldnt hear each other speak so we got out quickly so we could go somewhere to enjoy each others company.

I enjoyed the place, just not the way we were able to socialize.

Went for 'soft open'. What a nice place. Very big and airy like the Munchen beer hall. Beer was terrific! Although I must say we had far too much of it. We ordered from their limited 'soft open' menu and the food was good. Frankfurter was just okay-basically a hot dog with sauerkraut. Pretzel was very good. We were there for nearly 4 hours and we ate when first arriving, but the last hour we ordered another pretzel to soak up the beer, and it seemed to take forever coming out. Although it went from being about 30% full of patrons to 100% full by the time we wanted to go, so I'll give them a pass on that. But, I am interested in trying the full menu when it becomes available. And will they be able to keep up with the crowds.

Great atmosphere! Good German food and beer...Great energy from every German Band that we've heard so far...The Frankfurters The Auslanders and Rich Manzell..

I'm anxiously awaiting the full menu . The 4 stars I gave would probably change to 5 then. I look forward to their potato salad when I go, it reminds me of grandma's kitchen.
The hostess that waited on us was great, very friendly and had great timing.
The entertainment and atmosphere are just other reasons to come in.

The customer service and overall experience was wonderful! We were just a little disappointed with the limited menu. My husband is from Germany and was very happy with the food but was looking forward to seeing potato pancakes on the menu, which there were none. Lol
He will live but that was our only critique. We will be back! Great time!

Really fun spot! Fantastic, friendly service, good food and drink, and great music. Could see this being a great pre-game spot for Sabres games whenever the world decides to re-open. Nice patio area for warm weather. Really rooting for this place to make it through COVID!

Great atmosphere, good food, delicious beer and fun entertainment. Live the German Beer Hall experience. They did a great job considering Covid and all the delays. Can’t wait for full opening! Prost!
