   I had the steak pie which was nothing special and overpriced in my opinion. My husband had the shnitzel which was ok but far too much garlic. The wine was ridiculously expensive.

   OpenTable appeared not to pass on our booking to the venue, making the whole booking process pointless: the venue did not know we were coming. However the venue accommodated us very well. Everything else was excellent: the staff/service was perfect. We will dine here again.

   Food was excellent the staff were very efficient and very helpful the ambiance was very peaceful considering their were a few guests in the restaurant

   We were late, a little after 9pm but they were very accommodating and agreed to serve us even though it was 9.10pm We both had the pie and it was exceptional really nice. We had the triple ice cream for dessert and it was the best ice cream we had ever had. The very friendly waitress said it came from France It was divine.

   Good menu choice, quality of food was above average for this type of hotel. Meal service was very good with very pleasant and obliging staff.

   Very busy night so a bit noisy for us. One arty in particular were very loud and close to us. The waitress, Sue was amazing checked everything was gluten free for my husband. I had the most amazing smoked fish and mozzarella fish cakes. Food was really good. All staff were brillaint from check in to check out. (One slight exception morning breakfast person on counter said bacon not guaranteed gluten free as was cooked with sausage, Susprised as so careful re contamination at eve meal) Told on checkout this would not be correct.

   Food was fantastic, if you ate meat. As a pescatarian the chives were very limited unfortunately. That said, everything I could eat was lovely.

   QR code failed to work repeatedly first evening. Second evening it worked ok. Choice of times seemed a little limited. Food was very good, well cooked. Vue for money is very poor, but this is a hotel after all.
