Staff on the door impolite and set a bad tone (we had a booking for 11.15am/ she saw us arrive and try the door at 11.10am but it was locked, didn’t pop her head out to let us know they’ll be opening soon - at 11.15 on the dot she unlocked the door and went back to her desk, didn’t greet us). Strange service from someone front of house and set a bad tone. Luckily our waitress Louisa was great and made sure we enjoyed the experience, attentive, friendly and perfect at her job. Food was ok, arrived too quick to have even been plated freshly nevermind heated/cooked (one dish arrived less than 1min after ordering). Tacos were cold, crab didn’t taste fresh but ribs were great. We’ll be back, mainly because of Louisa but I hope the other aspects improve.
This is the best bbq food I’ve ever had in my life. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is incredible. 10/10

Me and my partner came here for his birthday and we were both violently sick that night after eating so totally ruined the experience the food was really vinegary the more we let it sit to the point we couldn’t finish our food but of course no fault of the staff that worked there they the waiters and waitresses were lovely but the food quality itself not great, has definitely scared us from coming back after being that ill.

Not bad, but room for improvement but would still go again. Had the bandit burger. It was tasty but a couple of problems. Asked for it medium rare - it came medium well. Therefore for me the actual patty itself wasn't juicy enough and was a tad dry. Also they want to put A LOT of sauces on it. I even asked for chimchurri at the side and by the time i was half way through the burger, the bun had pretty much disintegrated and it was time for the knife and fork to come out. Tacos were tasty (mushroom) as was the mac and cheese and brisket loaded fries. Cocktails were nice also - but maybe slightly over priced. Can't really fault the service waitress was lovely. Would go again, as I reckon as long as i was really specific about the burger and how i wanted it, it would make for an excellent burger. Also, would like to see some optional toppings you can add to your burger like bacon / avacado instead of brisket :)

Service was fine.
But there was a LOT of fat in the smoked selection we ordered.
And the temperature was so hot in there. Might have been to do with being seated near the kitchen though.
The food was awful. The ribs were tough. The chips tasted like they had been sitting in dirty oil and the chicken wings weren’t cooked properly.
The seating is on benches, I would not have had a huge issue with this but the table is too low so you are hunched over and ours backs actually started to ache after a while.
The food was ok, would not recommend the tacos.

Came to London for a birthday weekend and searched for a bottomless brunch. This place is really good value, drinks were kept topped up and our waitress too lots of care and attention about my dietary requirements (coeliac). Recommended for a laid back Sunday afternoon.
I took my friend for his birthday.. and we had an amazing time, couldn’t fault anything... food was fantastic, drinks were brilliant, a lot of choice.. will definitely be returning.
Went for brunch with friends. Great bottomless booze option, staff were quick to top up which was good. Food was lovely - sizeable portions & served quickly.
The only things that let it down were the bench style seating, which was uncomfortable for 2hrs, and the music which kept getting turned up which in turn meant everyone talked louder. Was hard to hear friends that I was sat with.
Good food and ambience. Good for everyday but I wouldn’t got there again for a special occasion. Maybe because it was not packed based on the time I went
The food is so good! A little loud but a fun environment
Good place for meat. Wow effect for spicy sausage and brisket. Ribs were a bit dry. Mistakes during the order, they offered the wrong burgers on the house but removed nothing from the bill. No good for vegetarians: Not one vegetarian liked the pulled jackfruit.. wine ok, a bit expensive for the quality. The Espresso was a joke, asked to make it again, lacking body completely.
Food is great and so is the service. The place was buzzing with bottomless brunches which was fun to watch as a dry Janner
Incredible beef rib, it fell off the bone. It was great with the pickled apple slaw and left very full.

The table was booked for 17:45, arrived at 17:42 and made to wait the 3 minutes until the restaurant opened, despite asking to come in as it was wet and cold. The food tasted good, but was overcooked or reheated as it was tough as old leather; completely the opposite of what you would expect from slow cooked bbq. I recommend texas Joes near London Bridge for actual bbq.

Lovely restaurant and food was not pricey, it did get cold a bit quick but apart from that very nice.
Took ajla here so she can taste the the smokiness and get her taste buds used to different textures. The staff very welcoming and services was fine. The ribs was a bit dry and another meat was Paul warm (brother of Luke warm) for came out fast which was not a problem as I’ve had a short time. But the feeling overall was good. Enjoyed the night well done

Dishes are delicious and our waitress my very attentive and smiling! The only thing that I was not aware is that if you're a small party, you're likely to be sharing your table with people from other reservations. It is not a great disadvantage but I wish I was made aware of that when I was reserving. Then a minor thing was that at some point music went a bit too loud, I had trouble listening to what my partner was saying. I would not be discouraged to come again though. Maybe for dinner is more ideal rather than brunch which you may prefer a lighter ambiance.

Don’t gin Food arrives nearly 10 minutes after ordering which is worrying but the fact that it arrives lukewarm cements the fact that all food is simply reheated rather than cooked fresh on the day. All the meat was salty and flavourless, there are several good bbq spots in London. Steer clear of this one
Food is average, can find better in the city. That being said, good vibe in there and the service is also good.
Been before and really enjoyed it. This time we didn't think the food was very good, particularly the meat which was overcooked, dry and not as tasty as usual. The Oreo dessert was very good though.
Food was nice but not £60 worth of nice. 😔 there was 2 of us who weren’t drinking, we shared a starter and just had a burger each. The food was good but shocked that it was £60. Would return but maybe with a larger group if we were all drinking but not as a dinner for 2

Service was excellent, really attentive and friendly but the food was terrible. I had the crab slider which was tasteless and greasy. The decor was tired and grotty. Bottomless drinks were great value though!
The brisket tasted like a pot roast. Tastes and feels as if it was cooked in a slow cooker or pressure cooker. There is no smoke ring or smokey flavour, so I'm presuming that the bark is fake and created by searing.
The sausage was dry and over cooked but full of flavour!!! Just need to pull it off the fire about 30 minutes sooner.
Pork ribs are definitely fall off the bone tender but again feels like it was done in a slow cooker. There's no smoke ring and has only the faintest flavour of smoke. It was a combination of very dry and good moist
The pulled pork was swimming in sauce so cannot tell what the prep method was but your sauce game is on point!!! This was a delicious part of the select!!!
This chicken was PERFECT and I don't really like BBQ chicken.. y'all got that SPOT EFFING ON!!!
The people next to us I got what I presume is the short rib and by God that's what we call Dino Ribs in Texas. That is a gorgeous amount of meat!!! But again no visible smoke ring and looked a tad over done. Only the ends of the bones were discoloured (over smoke for 4 hours would change the colour of all exposed bone)
If you want real smoked BBQ I'd be happy to come help yall out, get me a work visa sponsorship and this Texas Pitmaster will be there in a heartbeat!!

I visited Hotbox for my birthday brunch with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The ambience was pretty good, although I think it could be better. I definitely will go back in the near future.
Poor service from the waiting staff. Meat was dry and bland. Fries were soggy. Wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend.
Went for a work lunch as a table of 6. I mis-booked the numbers but the staff instantly had a table ready and there was no issue at all. They were all very nice and the food was amazing, fully recommend this for any meat/bbq lovers out there! Will be sure to go there again soon.
Great food and cheery service but the noise level was too high for us, I couldn't hear what my son was saying on the other side of the table. We were hoping for a leisurely catch-up brunch but we left after finishing our food to find somewhere quieter to talk.
