                                                            We had bought tickets to a show, paid for a VIP package, and had dinner reservations. The hostess didn't know anything about the VIP package that said to meet in the main lobby. The electronic tickets did not work, and while we had started at the box office, we were sent back to the box office to have tickets printed. The show was not in the main dining room. The food was expensive and subpar; ribs were tough and very little sauce.

                                                            We have eaten here twice on our trip to Houston, and have no regrets. The service was great. Reservation was on time. The music was amazing (completely different each time.) We will probably be back tonight. So go have fun (and it's family friendly) you won't regret it.

                                                            First time dining here. Always wanted to go and wasn’t disappointed. Good food, music and great vibe. Band was great too. Pops was killing it on the keyboard. LOL. Will definitely return my next visit to Houston.

                                                            We went to hear a jazz band play. The volume was loud if you set near the "stage" so you probably want to set towards the back to get the full appreciation. The servers were great. The food was good but different.

                                                            The food was excellent! I had the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. My boyfriend had a burger. I do wish they would list the proteins on one side then the choice of sides. I had to look at other dishes to find mashed potatoes because I didn't like the cream corn that was listed with the salmon. The cocktails were not watered down. Nadia, our waitress, was extremely helpful and provided great service. Our problem was the terrible music choice and how loud it was. We could barely talk and couldn't wait to get out of there. A DJ stood in the restaurant and chose the music. We told Nadia it was too loud and she said she mentioned it to management but nothing was done. If it's like this all the time, we won't go back. Even if it was music we liked, it was just too loud for a restaurant.

                                                            It’s called “The House of Blues” but the live band were playing pure hardcore lounge muzak. Covers of pop hits from the 70-80-90s. Not one single song anywhere on the Blues scale. And even then, I’ve heard many Karaoke singers do a better “Dancing Queen” (Abba) than the band here … it was excruciating. Food was so-so and music was totally wrong - so DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE !!

                                                            I like the look of the restaurant overall. I loved the atmosphere of the live music when we walked in. Unfortunately the live music stopped about 30 minutes into our visit and the band left. This was around 9 pm. That was kind of a let down. It was a bit dead in there for a Saturday evening. I expected a more lively scene. The food was mediocre. I had the salmon and Mac & cheese skillet. The Mac & cheese skillet wasn’t very spectacular. A little dry and needed a bit more seasoning.

Got seated and no one came after 10 minutes of waiting so we left. It was not crowded at all. It was so freaking loud in there! And the DJ did not seem to want to be there. It was just bad.
