The booking was fine and I received a confirmation. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed. I had booked dinner with two friends and we didn’t enjoy the ‘experience’ at all.
Fantastic bar staff very friendly and service excellent
Will be returning 😊
Good Sunday roast at a reasonable price with friendly service. Good puddings
Lovely friendly bar staff, COVID secure and good food
Food under cooked selection poor quality cheap. A mixed grill with no tomato sausage mushrooms onion rings not sure what you call that. My fiancé ended up with a burger that was raw completely not sure how that was managed.
Prices not to bad food value for money and tastes nice . only one bar staff but was quiet and she coped well wiv food orders. Plenty of hand gel available and bar staff asked us to fill out track and trace card as we entered pub .
Enjoyed our meal, food was very nice we will definitely be back service was fast and staff was friendly.
Good pub food in a location easily reached by bus from city centre
Good food. Well priced. Very friendly staff. Overall very satisfied.
Food was very good (fish and chips) and the service was excellent. Value for money was great too. It is hard to give a rating for ambience, as Covid has affected everything. We have booked again and plan to eat there regularly as it feels like a safe place, and gave us a good couple of hours out.
An ok pub for a drink, food is very poor quality, don't reccomend eating here
Boooked for an evening meal, Staff very helpful and friendly during the evening and the food was excellent. Would definately use again when in the area
We got the government eat out to help out deal so four meals with soft drinks came to £26. Fantastic! There was a good variety on the main menu and also several specials. The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had
Really enjoyed our first visit to a pub after lockdown.
Everything explained clearly, great burgers and key lime pie 😋.
Would happily return, thanks.
I recently visited the brook pub in Cambridge after many great recommendations’ from friends. I was greeted with a warm welcome from staff .A few friends and I had the most amazing chicken kebab on the evening while being treat to great coverage on the numerous sports TVs around the bar . They also offered the daily menu which looked good value and catered for all tastes .The car park was ample ,and the nice sized well kept beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. Nice staff, good food , nuce atmosphere.Would highly recommend a visit .
Called in with my son for a light bite after a rather long hospital appoinment and we was very impressed with both food and selection of ales of affer . The chicken burger was the best burger I 've ever had,and the home made lasagne was very testy . Price are very resonable ,friendly staff ,we will come back!
We were very grateful for the air conditioning on a hot day, but the customer service could have been much better. One member of staff spoke very poor English, which made communicating orders to her very difficult. She also 'forgot' an order for a drink, despite us standing right in front of her. The other member of staff was clearly in a foul mood - didn't smile at all, moaned about the possibility of having to open multiple tabs for our party (a pre-booked birthday gathering of 8 people), kept disappearing for long stretches leaving the other member of staff to try to deal with everyone in spite of her poor communication skills, and even slammed a door in her mood! Not the nicest of atmosphere to celebrate someone's birthday. The food was mostly good - the curries in particular seemed to to go down well - but it would have been nice to see some more veggie/vegan options, and anything gluten free at all. Overall, the pub was a fairly pleasant environment and provided tasty and well-presented food, but the experience was, unfortunately, let down by the staff working that night.
Good food and Good Service. I would definitely come back.
Good venue with parking and easy access but menu perhaps a little dated. Good friendly service
A Â lovely family PUB!
VISITED this lovely pub on the Wednesday lunch for the first time with friends. Welcomed by the staff and some of the locals, a warm friendly pub with good beers, esp good for those who like real ales.
We decided to have a bit to eat, myself having the cheese burger, and my friends having the peri peri chicken and Lasagnia. The burger was delicious, very succulent, a pleasure to eat, and my friends said the same of theirs.
Overall a lovely pub whom I would be glad to visit again!
