About this restaurant

Great for brunch

Established initially as The Organic Café back in 1994, Hugo’s comes with a pedigree in sustainability, fair trade and fresh ingredients. Reclaimed sanded floor boards from a school in Norfolk, old church chairs and pews, a bar made from Oak from the London storm of 1987 all contribute to a very special space.
Hugo"s offer is based around a fusion of British and Mediterranean dishes. Full English breakfasts - Boullabaise Fish Stews - Rack of Lamb with Dauphinoise Potatoes - are some of the dishes available. Our Home-Made Organic Beef Burgers are very popular as well as our Steak Night on a Wednesday.
Hugo's is also a fantastic venue for a Wedding or a Birthday Party - if you are looking for something a little different!

The location is very good in a quiet street, it is better if you go for dinner where they have more choices of food in the menu but lunch it is ok, nothing special. The atmosphere is very relaxing, for me the only problem was that they don’t have any toilets for disabled people and the one they have is very narrow.

A bit disappointed, only half full on a Saturday night, (at least we could hear ourselves talk) no atmosphere & service considering was not great. When asked where the bread & olives were the answer was 'the kitchen is busy ' !! The veggie options were very good but I didn't hear great comments about the rest. This could have been such a good PR opportunity for the restaurant as 7 people could have recommended it to other friends. Sadly I don't think they will.

The menu was not exciting and very poor options to choose, I was there before but it was for dinner that was good but for lunch it is not recommended, they have better options for dinner but not much for lunch. The toilets aren’t suitable for disabled people.
