Humble Grape - Fleet Street
Just drinks. Nice wine list.
A regular haunt and will continue to be so! Great wine and good fresh food as always
Enjoyable evening, our waitress charlotte was very helpful and knowledgeable. The food and wine were great. Will go again.
Great service, fab food. Couldn’t be happier
Also accommodating when you need to be quick (hour lunch break)!
Good catchup spot but pricey for the food. Wines were great. Really cool atmosphere for some food and drinks. Recommended!
Plates small so we ordered a lot but food is very tasty. Would have liked more choices on the menu as quite limited. Essentially more of a wine bar than food place.
The food was okay and served promptly but it was unremarkable. Nevertheless the price was reasonable and the staff attentive, so I might go back.
2nd time here but first time socially and therefore with more time. Service exemplary and there were even some "off list" wines available, suggested by the manager , who checked budget before making the suggestion. An amazing range of wines by the glass - I suspect 2/3 of our bill was liquid and not food! The small plates are such a good idea, and can be combined with items from the bar snacks too. Honeyed chorizo still a hands-down favourite for me! What I also love about this place is that despite the fact it's in a crypt/vaulted room, which can often mean the noise reverberates and can make it hard to hear, at Humble Grape this is not the case and even when full you can still easily hear each other.
First time here and can see it becoming a firm favourite. I had confused myself on booking time and they couldn't have been nicer about my/our accidentally being half an hour late! Great advice on how many small plates to have, each was superb; my favourites were the honey/shallot chorizo and the grilled squid. Could easily have moved on to cheese and charcuterie too but short of time! This is such a flexible place - the menu suits quick or leisurely meals alike. Numerous wines by the glass. I'm moving in....
Lovely setting for delicious wine and food. Good service also on offer.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Food and wine be excellent!
It’s a good place to drink a bottle of wine, but that’s it. The food meniu is very poor...only few options and expensive. Definitely, it’s not the right place for dinner.
So the bill came to £240 for 2. Included 2 x starters, 2 x mains and 2 x bottles of reds.
Steaks were particularly bland and chewy and the reds unforgettable. When you pay your money you expect something that makes you take notice....nothing really did at the Humble Grape in Fleet Street. We came here on the back of our dinner at Battersea, which was so much better - including the choice of reds.
Possibly moving too fast in your expansion Mr or Mrs Humble Grape. The feel of Battersea was what won us, Fleet Street seems to lack the class, ambience and depth of culinary experience for any return. All in all. Poor.
Fabulous venue and wonderful wine. We enjoyed the Butchers board which was fab and some lovely accompanying wine. I will def be back.
Really great atmosphere for a team meeting. The staff were very helpful in choosing a wine - much appreciated. Great food. Will definitely be back.
