Very good meal - pre-theatre menu so keenly priced. Well-appointed dining room, with open kitchen area. Good, if pricey, wine list.

Booked here in advance of a trip to London with my wife and two youngish children on the strength of ratings and reviews. Very pleasantly surprised. Really welcoming and very good food indeed. Not what I really expect from a hotel restaurant but as good as many places we have eaten with Michelin stars. The kids loved it too and were looked after as well as us. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice boutique hotel and the restaurant fits well with the rest of the hotel.
The ambiance was just right for a catch up with my girlfriend...small but cosy and we didn't feel rushed. The food was excellent, our plates were empty on every course and we were presently surprised when the bill came for the quality of food it was good value for money.
I'm DEFINITELY going back...think it will be sumptuous in the summer when the sun's out.

We chose the Sunday lunch 3 course meal. I particularly enjoyed mussels cooked with lemon grass, chilli and cream and the desert a caramel tart was superb. chocolates to finish. The main course, a typical Sunday lunch of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli however was disappointing, it was just a bit basic and I expected better refined quality. My wife had roast lamb and although she likes her lamb medium rare, it was very rare in parts.
The service was however very good, we were virtually the only diners so the ambience was a little non existent.
I would however dine there again and the hotel itself looks like a hotel I will check out in the future.

We were two couples staying at The Arch Hotel for a weekend and were therefore lucky enough to sample the exceptional breakfasts, as well as an evening dinner. The service was friendly and prompt, we were seated in a booth for four, which meant we could chat easily, and the food was amazing. We will definitely be eating here again.

Located within the Arch Hotel, a very short walk from Marble Arch Underground station, this dining area has a warm and inviting ambiance. The greeting was very friendly and the service was attentive, timely and yet relaxed. We had booked the theatre menu (3 choices per course), which was good value at £21/head for three courses, yet be careful if you stray off that into the a la carte which becomes pricey, as were the drinks. A 12% service charge is added to the total bill. Bear in mind though that this is the West End of London! The main courses were a little small, although the starters and desserts were of a good size - all was well cooked and delicious. The restaurant was also very accommodating with regard to changes due to food intolerances and preferences. We very much enjoyed our visit and would certainly return - perhaps for the afternoon tea......

We booked here for Christmas Eve (2017) and we were not disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed everything from leaving our coats with an attendant, to excellent waitstaff, to dining, to dessert and coffee. What a hidden gem! The place is small with the kitchen visible at one end of the dining room (a feature I tend to like). We were a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their choices. I can't think of anything we didn't enjoy here.

I made a reservation for a late lunch prior to a visit to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
It was Christmas Eve and also my wife's birthday.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel 'special' and were shown to our table which was in a cosy circular alcove with a thin veil for privacy, very romantic!
The food was divine and the service was excellent. We were given a complementary glass of champagne to celebrate the occasion and my wife's dessert plate was specially decorated by the pastry chef, a lovely touch.
The whole experience was a great start to Christmas and I would not hesitate to recommend
Hunter 486 to anyone for a great dining experience.

Lunch with friends at Hunter 486, which is within the Arch Hotel near Marble Arch. Very wide and varied menu choice. The venison was excellent. Service was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was a little quiet, but probably to be expected in the afternoon. Still, ideal for conversation with friends. Would recommend if you want a restaurant north of Oxford Street near Marble Arch.

A blind choice from the internet but what a find. The welcome from having our coats taken at the door to the smile from our waitress as we left was warm and friendly. We sat in a booth that gave a feel of intimacy as though we were the only people there. We were only reminded that we weren't by the laughter of other guests. The knowledge of our waitress about the drinks and the food was really impressive and exceptionally professional. Will be revisiting when the chance arises.

Wow, what a hidden gem! Enjoyed a fantastic thanksgiving dinner here last night. The service was excellent- we were absolutely blown away we could get such great service in London! The food was amazing- the bread is made in-house and everyone at our table was going crazy for it. We had to get a second round! The suggested red Zinfandel wine we had with dinner was wonderful.

The staff in the lobby and even the doorman was so kind. I had a baby and they made every effort to make my visit comfortable and enjoyable. They had a lovely tea service in another room I noticed so I’ll definitely be coming back to try that out!
Big thanks to everyone at the hotel and restaurant! Kudos to whoever trained them! 👍🏼

We had a ladies’ lunch. Good location close to Oxford St but out of the hustle & bustle. We had the set lunch - good value at £23 but the portions are on the small side.

Unusual food - for example delicious cannelloni substituting aubergine for the pasta - if only there had been more of it.

According to the taxi driver both Madonna & Gwynnie have their London residences close by so that tells you all you need to know :-)

Fancy with friendly staff.

We love the food and the attitude of the staff here and we did enjoy our meal. However, despite being asked for our pre dinner drinks order, the waitress took a while to return to take the order, and then a very long time to deliver it. The same applied to a glass of wine ordered for the meal. The main course was already half eaten and there was no sign of it.
The only two people in our party who didn’t seem over excited with their food, were the two who chose vegetarian options. In one case, it would have been helpful if the waitress had recommended a side dish because it was really not a big enough main course portion alone. This is not asking for US size portions, just appropriate for an average appetite. I suggest checking the portion size with the waitress.
It is unusual for a waitress in any restaurant to not know what fish was in the fish soup, but we may have had someone new to the job.
This is a lovely location for a quiet catch up with friends or family and generally the food is excellent.
