We are on a very quiet night. Service was well informed and pleasant. Food was very good with one small element disappointing. Wine list was good and we enjoyed a great Greek red.
My twin sister and I came here for our birthday meal. We were treated like VIPs it was a lovely meal, delicious food and amazing service. Thank you!
My wife and I were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Finn and Michael Chapman were very attentive, and I would like to make a special mention of Tony Thompson. We had many joint interests, and he was very helpful and friendly.
Another excellent meal with outstanding service. We will keep on returning.
Excellent service and truly beautifully cooked, imaginative and sophisticated food. Very surprising and wonderful experience. We were staying at Cliveden and were quite disappointed by the food there. Hurley House Hotel wipes the floor with them.
New venue and we were not disappointed, great venue, good staff, great food etc and will be returning soon.
A lovely setting, the staff were friendly and for all courses the food was extremely good. Would highly recommend Hurley House and will definitely go back.
The Hurley House Hotel is quite stunning. Beautifully finished, wonderful food and attentive service. We have previously only eaten in the bar which is dog friendly so this was our fist visit to the restaurant. The restaurant was too warm for all of us. My only other niggle was that the white wine was served in a "cooler". A beautiful copper cooler but a cooler non the less. I found this very disappointing and presumed they didn't have ice buckets until I saw another table with an ice bucket. I asked for ours to be changed as by this time, with the excessive heat in the restaurant, our wine was no longer cool. They took it away and put ice in the cooler underneath the bottle but I am still stunned that a place of this quality does not provide ice buckets by default. A cooler is not actually a cooler in my eyes but simply something that slows down the warming of the wine.
Very nice place, good food and service but very expensive for what you get
Very expensive, not excellent in any respect, food very average, ambience okay, service okay. They run out of wine we were drinking and didn’t have any bottles available of the same variety or something close. Overall very expensive when you consider that we paid over £80 per head across five of us for what really was nothing more than an average village pub
Service was ok but prickly and had an arrogant air. Food was lovely.
The food was delicious, we shared the chateaubriand, and the service was exceptional. Lovely cocktails and tasty desserts. Would definitely recommend
Had a very enjoyable lunch here at Hurley House Hotel. Although it was only a Tuesday lunchtime, the restaurant was busy and everything was perfect. Have already booked to have my Birthday lunch here.
Another fabulous experience at the Hurley House Hotel. Fantastic service and ambience, and a first class meal. An enjoyable way to spend Mothers Day!
This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back!
Beautifully styled; Very welcoming team of staff; Fantastic food; Great cocktails - a really great find!
Great evening throughout, can't fault it!
The service, food, wine and general attentiveness was exceptional.
We will be back!!
My only criticism is that the restaurant area is way too hot i'm always cold and we had to move to have our desert.
Excellent food and service in lovely surroundings. Would highly recommend for quality food
Had a lovely lunch excellent service. Would recommend
The best restaurant in the Maidenhead area by a long shot. you pay a little more than other places but it is worth every penny.
Excellent food and good service
Music was poor and would have liked tablecloths for such a smart venue
Would recommend to all, excellent food and service!
Unexpectedly good. We are fussy fine diners and were very impressed with the levels of service and quality of food. Sadly the restaurant was pretty quiet but it was midweek we did get a tour of the hotel which looks really lovely. Can’t wait to return and try some more of the menu. Definitely made our local shortlist.
As ever a great experience at Hurley House. We went for lunch to celebrate a family birthday and everyone commented on the fabulous food, great service and the lovely ambience. We love Hurley House!
Friendly staff, and lovely ambiance, not too noisy at lunch time and most importantly delicious food and helpful staff.
Had a lovely meal with my daughter whilst staying overnight at the hotel.
We had a lovely breakfast as always and I jusmust t say the staff are very accommodating friendly and polite but we had one female serve us who you could tell straight away she was not very friendly smiling through gritted teeth we found her impolite and false whereas all the other staff are so courteous and pleasant...its a shame but we had a olessany morning.
We had a delicious lunch and found everyone very friendly and helpful, we will be back!
Great evening great addition to the Maidenhead restaurant scene, will be going back soon I’m sure.
It was lovely, cosy and warm, food very good, wine a little too pricey so limits choice. Very attentive service so all in all a good evening, pleasantly surprised and we will be back soon. Outside looks very nice too, just need warmer weather.
We had a gorgeous meal with amazing service. It’s quite pricey but worth it. This is my second visit I’d go back. Food was stunning.
Great meal for our 35th wedding anniversary - nice polite service just right -food excellent will go again soon
Great English breakfast - both traditional and veggie! £55 inc service for 2 adults and 2 children (Family friendly) - quality was right for the money. Recommend it and now keen to return for lunch / dinner!
We have dined here on half a dozen occasions and had 5 star meals but on this occasion it was a disappointing experience. Both the starter and main course selected by my husband had run out so he couldnt have what he wanted (at 8.30pm) and my halibut was a little tasteless and therefore not good value at £27. The glass of red wine I ordered was very chilled. I sent it back and a glass at room temperature was brought. The desserts were spectacular as always as was the ambiance.
Overall not up to the HH usual standards regretably but we shall be back as hopefuly it was a post christmas blip only.
Fabulous attentive service, great atmosphere, terrific food, extensive yet reasonable wine list.
The service is exceptional and the food doesn't disappoint. Relatively good wine list and a good choice on the menu.
Overall it was good. However service was not up to scratch and wine list was over priced. Menu could have been a little more extensive and the turkey in our main course was tasteless. Would we dine again, probably.
First impressions were wow but had to get the staff's attention for drinks and menu, but after that the service was amazing and also the food! My friend's were very impressed and we will all be visiting again in the future. I have already recommended to family!
Wonderful staff, excellent attention. You really feel pampered.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, attentive and knowledgable staff. I will happily return with more people!
