This is one of my favorite restaurants in the local area. The team are very friendly, the food is good and the venue is superb. I love it.
Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, food was delicious. The restaurant and bar area is beautiful and we will definitely be back soon
Great food. My duck was delicious.
My wife’s black cod was amazing although the miso sauce was overly sweet
Overall amazing nonetheless
Love the place, highly recommend it
I discovered this restaurant when searching for somewhere I could charge my Tesla. Have returned many times. It is a favourite now with local family and in an area which has a fair few good establishments it continues to stand out for its menu and staff
Fantastic restaurant, exceptional service and food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Average food, very good service
Absolutely loved this place! Very quiet so one can have a conversation and the food was to die for! Can’t fault it!
I had a lovely birthday dinner at Hurley House. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent including good vegetarian options.
Hurley House is the best dining experience in my area - so warm, welcoming, wonderful service and outstanding food.
A really lovely, cosy, quiet and warm room with attentive service and delicious food.
Been here a few times before. Never had a bad experience. The food is lovely the cocktails are amazing. Just be warned it can be quite expensive but worth it on a special occasion it decor and environment is very lovely.
Beautiful restaurant, smart but cosy and welcoming feel. Excellent customer care by all members of staff we encountered. The homemade bread was absolutely delicious ! We shared the Tomahawk steak which was huge and the presentation was beautiful. It was very enjoyable but unfortunately a bit dry. Overall though we had a great evening and would highly recommend.
We had a roast beef Sunday lunch last week. First time we have visited. We thought the re-furb was beautiful the ambiance really nice and the staff extremely attentive. Our only criticism is that our meal could have been considerably hotter. The roast potato’s were Luke warm as was the veg. We did mention this to the manager and are hopeful that this can be corrected in future. We will certainly visit again.
Warm welcome, good food and wine list
Absolutely delicious food in a cosy and not too stuffy setting. Friendly and helpful service. Steaks were out of this world and the cocktails tasty and not run of the mill. Wine list is very extensive and covers all the bases very well, although watch out for some over inflated prices and very little by the glass.
Excellent food, well cooked and a good menu selection.
Service okay but took 3 asks and a long wait to receive a bill so that we could pay and leave!
A minor point but there was a very poor selection of Scottish whiskies to choose from - it's not difficult or expensive for a restaurant of this calibre to offer a wider range.
Delicious Japanese menu
Great ambience and service.
Food however needs to be improved to match the service and location.
Fish n chips were poor... over cooked batter with uncooked fish.
Previously we had issues with sushi.
A consistent and higher quality food needs to take place for this to be a great success
I would recommend Hurley house for any special occaion, you have to go a long way to find a resturant that takes this much care of you, the staff are attentive the food is always good.
Keep up the great work.
We are extremely lucky to have the Hurley House Hotel on our doorstep and now feel even luckier that they have introduced the Japanese Menu. It was exquisite.
Really lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. Perfect for a special occasion.
Great place, great food, would definitely recommend,
Fantastic service, atmosphere and food/drinks. Went with my wife for our anniversary. We were greeted with a warm welcome, a happy anniversary from the front of house who walked us to sit at the bar and enjoy a complimentary champagne to celebrate. The service from all the team was superb. We will return!
Staff are attentive and friendly, engaging in conversation with consumers. Food was remarkable, absolutely faultless, left us both full too! It has a lovely atmosphere to have your meal. I recommend Hurley House so much to anyone thinking of going, it has so much to offer.
Great welcome at the bar and a relaxing pre dinner drink. Alina at the bar was really knowledgable about the selection of Gin they had on offer and the recommendation was spot on, we decided on the sushi menu and were recommended a great Sake to accompany this instead of wine after a tasting a couple of them. Great restaurant service, well paced and the sushi was delicious and beautifully presented.
I had some average experiences here previously but this and a superb breakfast here a few weeks ago is testament to the great team here now. One of my current favourites!
Refined food in good surroundings. Excellent choice for a summer evening. Good Wine menu
Absolutely love Hurley House, always made to feel welcomed and nothing is too much trouble. Food amazing and cater brilliantly for customers with food Intolerances .
Hot evening, sat outside it was brilliant. Great food and service.
Haven't eaten inside, possibly looks a bit dark - nice and snug in the winter months.
Really nice place to eat, drink and stay. Food and Bar are very good.
Fantastic hotel! The service from the staff was excellent and the food was very good.
Really good ambience and great to see the amazing Diego Masciaga involved in the project. Beautiful terrace and all in all one of the finest places in the berkshire area.
Fine dining experience at a reasonable price! The service was excellent. Menu choices were great and lots of GF options
We had amazing lunch, although, didn't have any expectations, as place was closed and we passed the old building many times, but this time, we booked the table...
Service was spot on, precise and informative, great.
We had beetroot and feta for starters, I had white fish and my partner- salmon , we also ordered salads, cooked vegetables, everything was really fresh, full of flavours...
We also got suggestions about wine selection, and it was really nice, thank you, particularly Italian white, which we never tried before...
Overall, we are coming soon to try other menues, as we have been there on Sunday.
Thank you so much.
We had a great evening, food is amazing, serving team really friendly & provided good service. Wine is sold with thoughtful insight.
The menu provide good options. I had the salmon starter and lamb shoulder cottage pie, both dishes were divine. My wife had the sea bream and loved it. The service all round was excellent and our waiter was very knowledgeable on the produce and wine. The decor outside was lovely. The downside for me was that their wines were really expensive. I will visit again.
Excellent service, delicious food and fine wine made our meal extremely enjoyable, only down side was the slightly loud electric piano which accompanied the singer, who was very good.
It would have been better to have provided toast rather than having to ask for it and then to have given butter and preserve
The food we had was fantastic! We were, however, disappointed that my partner had to remind the staff that his main came with a jus which he only remembered after he'd started the course. We were offered a complimentary glass of wine each which was a nice gesture.
We were also quite horrified on arrival to see, what looked like a Manager, decanting one bottle of opened Champagne into another over his finger, quite viably on the bar counter. That is a red flag no matter the establishment!
The pianist playing was a lovely touch and the staff were all very pleasant.
Our first visit, loved the place shame mine and my friends mains were not hot but the manager quickly felt with the problem. Will be back soon
