What a wonderful experience!
Attentive service, delicious food, nice ambience, all within a beautiful hotel.
Loved this place. First time that my husband and I have been. Staff were Amazing. Food absolutely delicious. Can’t praise the staff enough. The service is on par with Limewood and The Ivy. Sommelier listened to my likes and dislikes and she was spot on! We will return very soon. I hope we won”t be disappointed!
Lovely Venue, easy to find and beautifully refurbished. The food was excellent the staff are very polite but the service was a little slow.
Great location, lovely interior. Very attentive staff, excellent service. Had read reviews that it can be noisy which was right but still lovely experience, didn’t detract. Food was superb, compliments to the chef.
Generally very good. Plenty of well trained staff and a great Sunday lunch. A couple of minor points. The restaurant is very noisy. I’ll sit in the bar area next time. Im guessing whoever makes the horseradish sauce is not native to the UK. Whipped to a froth with no discernible horseradish flavour. As I said minor points as we had a really enjoyable meal and will return.
Amazing food and amazing service for Sunday lunch.
The lunch menu had some more unusual choices - as well as some of the old favourites- so something for everyone in our party’s taste.
We enjoyed the experience but did find as more diners came in that the increasing noise level Made conversation difficult at times.
The service was excellent, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the whole experience.
A fantastic restaurant; a warm ambience, with lovely food, and a great wine choice. The staff are excellent and are of a similar calibre to a Michelin 1* (maybe even a 2*).
I recommend the monkfish, salmon with pea and mint risotto, and the fish and chips are some of the best I've tried.
The bar and restaurant areas have a subtly different decor, both finished to a very high standard. I recommend booking one of the diner-style tables for two along the window as the seats are very comfy and somewhat more intimate.
When busy it can seem a little noisy but nothing that will spoil your experience.
Went for the first time two weeks ago and returned last weekend. And I'll be there again.
We have been eating at Hurley House since it opened, never been disappointed highly recommended especially the sushi
Amazing service , food was excellent and great value for money
Food and experience absolutely outstanding could not fault.
Not cheap but worth every penny!
A very special evening for us and recognised by the staff. Will certainly be returning.
The food and service was superb. I would definitely recommend dining there
Great food and service. Extensive wine list. Lovely evening.
Such a shame I booked the Valentines dinner in early January as a treat for my other half. We were both looking forward to the meal after a busy week. The main restaurant is very atmospheric and I mistakenly thought that’s where we’d be seated but alas we were seated on a room adjacent to the bar which was completely soulless and not at all what we expected for a romantic Valentines meal. The menu was ok and unfortunately my partner’s lamb was tough and rather tasteless. And to be completely honest I don’t think I’d have bothered given the meal for two was just short of £200. Service was prompt and attentive but that’s all I can say about the evening.
Nice evening but they had packed too many people in to the restaurant (we were in a side room rather than the main area) I will go again but not on one of the "special days"
Disappointing Valentines evening. We were put in the room to the side which was very full and not really very intimate. The menu was a set menu which we were not expecting so overall weren't that happy.
Really good menu and a great ambiance. Good service too.
We were looked after brilliantly, food was exceptional
I went when it first opened and thought it was alright but after my most recent visit it is a must
Thank you for a wonderful evening
Superb service and food so well worth the visit
Tried the Japanese food it was really excellent and will certainly go back again for this menu, though there normal Ala carte is worth a visit for anytime.
High quality food and service, a venue well worth returning to.
As I booked on line I was not aware that 5pm was your final booking time on Sundays.
This felt like the final service. The food was not very hot and those on the plate with the meat were tired looking! We all had far too much meat and vegetables. Most were on the plate and not everyone has a large appetite. It would have been nice to have been asked how much we wanted or to have served less and offered a second helping if needed. As it was we lady quite a lot which is always a shame.
As we were the last there was no one in the restaurant at all so there was no ambience at all.
I have been to this restaurant several times, always at lunchtime and have never had a problem. This is why I feel I need to point out the poor quality of this meal is not your usual standard. The price of the meal was the same as lunchtime therefore the quality should have been the same.
I was treating two friends to this meal and although I haven't expressed these opinions to them I felt they were disappointed and I doubt if they will pay a return visit.
Sorry to have to say this but I think this problem should be addressed.
Good menu choice with great food. Attention to your table without being intrusive. Tables are far enough apart so as not to feel cramped. Great choice for evenings or Sunday lunches, with superb wine choice, even by the glass.
Absolutely everything was perfect. But the star of the show was the food. Outstanding! Can't wait to return! Just what we need in the Henley area! Service has improved 10 fold also!
We came back for our 3rd visit after a year and a half and it is still absolutely outstanding, would highly recommend!
Nice ambience. Super food (with great additional Japanese menu of freshly prepared). Excellent service. Food quality high. No complaints!
We had a superb lunch here and couldn't fault a thing. From our warm welcome to the goodbyes 3 hours later, everything was absolute perfection.
The staff are exemplary and their attention to detail quite incredible. I had the fish and chips and they were superb as was the sushi and the cheeseboard.
Overall, I would recommend that everyone has at least one meal here if possible. Book a table now!
Hurley House excelled again. Really good quality food. Lovely ambiance. Only complaint is the music was too loud. Otherwise great!
We had a lovely meal at Hurley House whilst staying at the hotel. The sashimi was excellent, as was the prawn cocktail and aubergine dish. Great atmosphere.
Excellent. Only thing is that tables next to you can get loud.
Great environment for a lunchtime business meeting
Great restaurant ... Quality food, knowledgeable staff.., great attention from our server
We are regulars at Hurley House because we enjoy the food and the choice.
Great food great service great dvening
Hadn't been for some time so was pleasantly suprised by the starter and the main dish for both of us it was all excellent and next time we will try the Japanese. Highly recommended.
Liked the bar area by the fire, went for Sunday lunch which was good but I hear it’s a better evening venue for steak than for a roast
The best Sunday lunch ever
Once again, a lovely meal and well looked after by the staff.
