We really enjoyed our dinner at Hustle . Only thing I can fault is the roti . They are not fresh and there is no option for naan bread. I think some chutneys and salad should be complimentary. Also it is quite pricey. Overall I would go back again. Thank you
The food, compared to other Indian restaurants, was not that great. They do not serve alcohol. There was nothing very special about this place enough to make up for these things.
Thank you for feed back. Most Indian restaurants were created to mimic pubs and the food was created to be palatable to the locals nothing like what we would eat at home. We are different but familiar. We are a Bombay Eating House, so our food is home style, not your local curry house. If you have any further suggestions please email us firstname.lastname@example.org
This is a fully dry restaurant so no beer or wine available, which makes it a great option for families or for diners who don't want alcohol. The food menu is half vegetarian, half non-veg and has great dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was attentive while not being overbearing.
Hustle is a very apt name for this place. You will feel hustled when you see the miserly portions served to you.
Vastly overpriced but with nice staff.
no alcohol for me is a big put off, I like to be given the option, food was tasty but had better
Great food and Wonderfully decorated, lovely ambience. Portions were a bit on the small side though, making this a pricey meal and service was quite slow. However the beautiful restaurant made up for it!
Loved the meal 😍👌🏼
Excellent food and service. Choose anything from the menu and you won’t be disappointed.
Had lamb biriyani and whole masala chicken. All very delicious and the service was excellent.
Beautifully designed interior and fantastic food and customer service throughout the evening. Would recommend to anyone looking to eat out in Ealing
We've been here and handful of times now and it's never disappointed us! If ever we have friends in town this is our go to place, as it's like going to a central London restaurant without the travel! The food is very fresh and tasty and the surroundings are very unique. The prices are also very reasonable to say it feels like a high end central London restaurant.
Best Indian restaurant in town or rather in England. Bombay local dishes were extremely good. Try anything and it will be be perfect. Will definitely go again and again.
I went to have dinner with a friend and we enjoyed ourselves greatly. First of all the service and all the people who work there are super friendly and professional. From what I gathered it is a family run business and I could tell they care a lot. This makes a big difference to the whole experience.
The food was super fresh and beyond tasty.
The vibe and ambience of the place felt very good and not overly loud. Decor makes a difference as well.
Good value for the money.
Will definitely come back!
3rd visit, the food is always great.
trying different dishes everytime and cannot complain!
it’s a very calm and friendly atmosphere with very accommodating staff members!!
Had lunch with my family at Hustle and I have to say the food was better than anything I've had at Dishoom or Roti Chai! The booking was for four people but they accommodated an extra individual and looked after us entirely! The food was great, the decor was spot on and despite being new to the scene, you wouldn't have known it based on the excellent service we received, I will be heading back with friends ASAP.
We entertained some friends of ours from out of town and they were very impressed! The food is delicious, the décor is very classy and completely original, the staff and the management were all very helpful and polite. This will definitely be our restaurant of choice from now on!
I am so glad that Hustle has reopened, it has been a long wait but definitely worth it. The food is amazing, just the right level of spice for me.
The staff a very friendly and accommodating, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
I can’t wait to return and I would definitely recommend Hustle
Thank you everyone at Hustle and see you very soon
Finally a Halal Restaurant in Ealing that exceeded my expectations! We were served by friendly informative staff. The menu provided many options for those who enjoy mildly spiced food as well as for those who like well flavoured and spicy food. We really enjoyed the Turkish Manti (tiny soys stuffed ravioli in creamy buttery yogurt sauce drizzled with hot chilli butter! Really delicious.! We followed with a masala roasted baby chicken and a side of Curly Fries...amazing! All washed down with a Blueberry lassi and Thumb up! The interior of the restaurant is amazing , very avant-grade which certainly matched the cuisine! We will definitely be going back for the Steak and Chips and Shepherd Pie!
Well done Hustle!
Amazing variety of dishes, great atmosphere, staff are polite and friendly
Would highly recommend!
Very small portions for the price. Taste is good though. Not very attentive staff. Hard to get their attention.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very good too.
Their faludo and bel poori were one of the best I’ve had for a long time.
The free kulfis were a great unexpected treat.
Unlike some of the reviews I read the service here was very good. The staff were friendly, the food service times were quick. We were served instantly, starters were delivered within about 10 minutes, and our mains order was then taken and arrived after another 10 minutes. The tables were cleaned before we sat down and in between each course. The staff offered us water and kept refilling for us. Overall, it was a very pleasant meal! :)
Absolutely amazing food. Everything tasted great and so fresh. Decor is amazing too and the staff couldn’t do enough. First of many more visits to come.
It was a busy day because of the 50% off so staff were rushed but the food was tasty and the staff tried their best to accommodate. The atmosphere was relaxed, there was no rushing. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time and would definitely go back with my friends again!
This is really a really swanky place. Love the atmosphere. Very IG designed. The mocktails are really something else (with Turkish delight in top)
Lovely atmosphere the place looks like a lavish swanky lounge. I could forsee renting this out for an event. Food was lovely and a gem to have something different than the usual places. Save this for a nice or special day.
The food as always is beautiful, small sharing portions that are freshly prepared. The service is a bit haphazard but not bad.
Terrible food service .. half our food never arrived . We had to wait over an hour for a starter , and even then only 1 starter came. The staff were friendly but the management did not care ! They were not apologetic about messing our evening and were not bothered that our meals never came . So many people were having the same issue ! Organisation and execution a shambles ! Food was nothing special .
This is definitely a place to avoid if you're eating in Ealing Broadway, there are far better restaurants in the area. First and foremost the owner/manager is extremely rude and I have never been spoken to by someone in a restaurant like how he had done. I asked for the service charge to be removed because I don't believe the service was good. My friends food had come and my roti had come but my daal hadn't. Ten minutes went by and my friends had nearly finished there food when I asked where my food was. A waitress then came back 5 minutes later with the wrong dish. Then 3 minutes later they came back with the right food, I ate it with my cold roti and was disappointed. When I was trying to explain this to the owner for the reason why I wanted it removed he raised his voice at me saying what did I expect in eat out to help out (keep in mind the restaurants get full profit with the scheme) and everyone doesn't have their own personal chef. He told me that all the food is prepared fresh and you have to wait and it comes when it comes. So according to him daal takes 3 minutes to prepare?? Maybe in a microwave it does! Shocking service by the "owner", why don't you learn some basic customer service skills. If the customer wants the charge removed obviously something went wrong in the dinner.
Food was ok but very overpriced, you will eat better for half the price in Brick Lane. Servers were nice, but I feel bad for the servers if the owners treats customers how he does...how does he treat them? Also explain how a side of rice costs £4.50...the bowl was tiny. Also a £2.50 chai tea was just slightly bigger then an espresso shot.
I can't wait to see what will replace this restaurant when it goes bankrupt...there is far too much competition in Ealing Broadway for this lousy establishment to survive.
What a Gem! Authentic food, beautifully cooked and presented. I was dining with some friends, and we all devoured the food like we hadn't eaten for a week. If you're hoping to cheer yourself up from 'lockdown grumps', this is the place to come. So nice to visit an "indian" restarant without the same old bland decor and samey food. Love it!
Fantastic food, good value and lovely restaurant interior. The one thing that lets the place down is the service. The staff are friendly and attentive, but the service is very slow and disorganised, leading to long waits to order and for drinks and food to be served. Hopefully, as the staff become better trained, the service will improve as it is a great place to eat.
Food was very tasty but my only criticism would be to include accompanying sauces with the kebabs.
Service was great, very helpful, friendly and welcoming - especially as we had a baby with us.
Initially offered two chairs at the bar/table by window which I was not happy about especially as I booked. Had to argue a bit to get another option even though loads empty. Eating with a friend you don't want to stare out a window. Menu a bit mixed and trying to do too many different thing. eg. Curry which indian then fatoush which is Arabic. Food was tasty. Was brought bill before we actually asked for it which I found a bit rude and unprofessional. Saw them turn down lots of customer's because of later bookings but during my time they could have been sat and out before those ppl arrived. chai masala was not home made authentic which is a BIG thing for me. Great concept and vive but a lot of small tweaks needed if they want return customers. Staff were all friendly. COULD be a great addition to area ….
Not to be missed... We turned up a few minutes early and received a very warm welcome from the manager. We were told the restaurant was nice, but nothing prepared us for the ambiance and decor, which is more like a West End Venue or one of the top 5* hotels. Their were only a few dishes that I had heard of on the menu, but our waiter explained all of the dishes and made a few suggestions based on what we'd normally order. We ordered the Whole Roast Chicken, Turkish Manti, Fattoush, House Black Dhal and Pani Puri. The food was all cooked to order, and it really showed, the quality was exceptional. All washed down with Hustle Cream Soda and finished with Masala Chai. I'm ashamed to say I didn't leave room for desert, but I'll try to next time, very soon! Not to be missed!
Highly recommend this lovely new addition to the Ealing restaurant scene! The food is delicious. I had the masala roast chicken which was cooked to perfection and now prefer it to Nandos which I usually my second home. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the butter chicken with her butter roti and rice,
Great Ambience, amazing food and lovely staff. This is definitely our go to restaurant in ealing as there's nothing else like it. I recommend the railway curry. Look forward to trying other dishes on the menu soon. Good luck to this new restaurant!
Very haphazard service. Food comes when it's ready - and this extended to three portions of rice, which sat on the table while we waited for our mains to arrive. Meat dishes came with water-thin sauces. Some dishes were swimming in grease. I really wanted this restaurant to be better - but it misses the mark.
The service was awful. We waited 1.5 hrs for a starters to arrive and then only half of them came. We then waited another half hr before the others arrived. No one seemed really concerned that our food was taking so long. The waitress kept scurrying off to ask someone else everytime we asked something. The portions were tiny and definately not value for money. The food did taste really good. There were no juices available although they only have a dry bar so would expect them to be fully stocked. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clearly alot of thought has gone into the interior but you can't enjoy anything due to the loud music. I would have expected more calming and not so loud music.-certainly didn't fit the image of the restaurant. We were a group of 4 but couldn't speak to each other for the loudness of the music.
Only gave 1 star because you can't go any less. Very slow poor service and food in an empty restaurant.
The meals were not good quality at all and made us feel sick. Our order was mixed up and we were served chicken instead of tofu, which is poor when we discussed the vegan options with the server.
Several people standing around putting coats on trying to pay the bill, although there were several staff just hanging around.
We had to ask twice for tap water and only after we sent back the mineral water. But seemingly it was being rationed as we were initally only given one glass full between the two of us.
Very loud music made it quite uncomfortable.
I'd save yourself the hassle and poor experience one of possibly the worst restaurants we have been to.
Even after letting the staff know all the above they then had the cheek to include service.
Awful experience. Our starters came out alongside our main meal side dish. One main meal was completely forgotten about. Once we’d asked (twice) where this was they then served us a meat dish, when we ordered a vegan dish. Serving staff were unapologetic and we were charged for two dishes which weren’t even eaten as we decided to leave, rather than waiting again for them to correct our order. Completely understand it was busy due to Eat Out to Help Out but poor service all round.
