Iberica Glasgow Ratings and Reviews
Chanced on this restaurant by accident while walking through Glasgow and had a really nice unscheduled tapas lunch there. Liked it so much we booked it for dinner with friends the next week. Really nice place and the tapas are excellent. Nice serving staff and very relaxed environment. Would definitely eat here again next time I'm in Glasgow,
Beautiful food, enthusiastic and friendly service (you could tell the servers were passionate professionals), great decor, great toilets, excellent value - dinner for three including desserts and drinks was under £100, excluding service. Can't wait to go back again.
Food was good however when we went in we got the worst table in the place at the door and the place was almost empty! Does booking on Open Table mean that restaurants think you'll take any rubbish seat? I don't thinks. I asked to be moved and was grudgingly told that second table on offer was the only option. However other tables were still empty when we left 70 minutes later. This type of attitude is annoying. Apart from that everything was great.
This was our second visit to Iberica and it didn't disappoint! I have to commend every aspect of the experience from the greeting on arrival, the very friendly knowledgeable waiting staff, the quality of the food and a great atmospheric room! This is undoubtedly a step up from the normal tapas experience and absolutely worth a visit.
Worth a visit. Bar staff very friendly and knew their stuff when it came to cocktails. The tapas choices were very tasty, good portions and we had a great table at the back of the room so the four of us got a good catch up without feeling we were disturbing nearby diners. The waiting staff were super friendly and attentive to a point. My only criticism and it happens in lots of restaurants is that after the mains are cleared and we didn't want desserts, you almost feel abandoned and twice we had to go to the bar to ask for more drinks. Tiny criticism to what was a great night. Would recommend and we will be back.
Lovely building and nice ambience.
Server was Spanish and explained everything really well. Very professional, very friendly with the right amount of attentiveness.
Food was delicious although portions probably larger than your usual tapas in the U.K. Because of that we could not finish all the food.
Delicious meal but slight pricey.
This venue was chosen for a birthday meal for which the grand decor and ambience contributed well to a sense of occasion. We had a tapas selection which were delivered as they were prepared fresh from the kitchen. These were delicious and notable in adventurous taste combinations; I particularly recommend the beetroot & Strawberry salad with Apple sorbert. There was a good selection of wines and the Riberia we chose complemented things well. Service was attentive and efficient. Overall a great foodie option for Spanish fine dining and a great venue for special or intimate occasions
First visit to Iberica. I had heard a lot of good things about it and I wasn't disappointed. Food is delicious, staff are very friendly and attentive. Decor is lovely. I had been told it was a bit pricey but I would disagree. The food is well worth it. I love tapas and this is tapas with a twist. I loved it and will definitely be back.
