Ambience and service really good... food a bit overpriced and pretty average... had a poor chicken paella... could have made better myself
Friendly helpful staff; food was very nice, but maybe a little more expensive than we had expected. Attractive decor, but quite quiet on the Thursday evening we were there ( suited us fine, but some people might like a more lively atmosphere). All in all would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great food. Very attentive and knowledgable staff. Great atmosphere
Service was slightly let down as we ordered a more expensive bottle of wine as we were celebrating. As a result we were made to feel uncomfortable by the waiter repeatedly asking if we were sure we could afford it (I assume this was on account of us being younger. 23). Another couple a few tables along arrived very drunk (to the point where the gentleman was lying on the table at one point). This didn't bother us too much just put something of a dampener on the experience.
However the food was outstanding and Iberica is a great place to eat with a really nice atmosphere. I have been a few times and this would be my go to tapas restaurant in Glasgow when showing friends and colleagues around the city.
Another lovely meal at Iberica including a surprise, complimentary glass of cava on arrival for my birthday.
The jamón was delicious and melts in your mouth and as for the croquetas... there aren’t enough words to describe how amazing they are.
If I had one tiny wee niggle, my smoky Old Fashioned was a bit on the sweet side but otherwise I really couldn’t complain.
Thanks again Iberica!
We had a great time, loved the food and the service was excellent and friendly. We're definitely going to repeat soon.
Just busy enough in terms of ambience - not too loud, could book a table on the day. Staff were okay, could have been more attentive. Food was excellent. Wine selection also excellent. All round probably my new favourite tapas restaurant.
I have an amazing first experience at Iberica. Great food, great recommendations and efficient service. I’ll definitely be back!
Excellent all round.
Really good service.
The croquetas are amazing. But most of the dishes are too expensive for a poor quality.
The mocktail was not cold at all.
Great service and excellent food! We really appreciated the extra touch for our anniversary and would definitely recommend to a friend and return ourselves.
The restaurant staff looked like they would rather have been doing something else other than seeing to customers. One of the dishes we ordered was prawns. You could smell them long before they reached our table. Why on earth they were allowed to leave the kitchen I'll never know as they were obviously off. I have never experienced mushy prawns before. We asked for clean plates as after placing a prawn on our plate and then putting the offending prawn back on the dish it came on the residue of the sauce still contaminated the plate. We each had tried half a prawn before spitting it out and I thought it choice of the waitress to tell us we wouldn't be charged for the prawns. They were lucky we didn't sue. We lost our appetite after the prawns and didn't enjoy our other dishes. The chicken with the saffron rice was dry and tasteless. I am not surprised the restaurant was nearly empty as it wasn't a good experience all round.
Nice food, nice surroundings but on a Saturday night... terrible terrible service.
Visited on a Saturday evening, restaurant was busy but not full. Food service, while polite and knowledgeable, was very slow, as was drinks service. We wouldn't spent more money if the service has been quicker, no doubt the same applied to all the other tables too.
Atmosphere was reasonable. Lovely choice of wines. Food quite disappointing and service lacklustre. Felt very much like a chain restaurant experience.
The decor and setting very calm and relaxing . From entering you feel welcomed by the staff and that remains all through your service.
The dishes are well presented and full of flavour. The menu is so varied that you would find something for everyone .
We are regulars here for our date nights its not cheap but you can count on the quality of the ingredience.
Potatoes bravas delicious, everything else so disappointing. Chicken over cooked, shrimp mealy and flavorless. Service very attentive and delicious freshly made sangria
Expensive unremarkable tapas. Nothing more to comment
Lovely place to eat, very central location, friendly Abd helpful staff. The food was very fresh and tasty too. We will be back!
Really nice but a touch in the expensive side. Would go back though
Food was great as always but the service was lacking on this occasion. Previously we have found the staff helpful when picking wine but our waiter was not able to help us when we were asking about the wine this time. We received some food we hadn't ordered and a couple of other small things but still a lovely night with good food!
Every dish was delicious. Very friendly and efficient service. All in all a great experience!
First visit was excellent so booked again to go the following evening. Was not impressed at all with the food.
Great place but super stuffy and hot. I wanted to break open a window
Great selection of Spanish tapas with excellent service from Antonio and Rika. Antonio guided us through the menu and made great recommendations for food and wines. We loved the design of the restaurant and can see all the care into all the details. Hope to dine there again.
Great food lovely staff. Had a super night. Will be back
Food was excellent, table and bwr service not very attentive and we always had to catch the attention of the staff when we were looking to order more food and drink.
Me and my boyfriend had high expectations for this dining. We found the place while we where shopping the day before, and really looked forward. The place is looking so detail oriented and beautiful - so the expectations on the food, was, quit high. But we wasn't satisfied unfortunately. It was sharing food, but we didn't get any spoons for the trays, had to ask your self. Didn't get any presentations of the food, just "here you go". We really appreciate good food and eat out a lot, are from Denmark but lives here in Glasgow, and love to try new places. Luckily a nice guy, Spanish I think, asked me how everything was? I was honest, said the place was beautiful, but the food wasn't as expected. He came back two minutes after, with meat and cheese on the house and his apology, which made the service much better. Thank's for that - that's how you react on unsatisfied costumers! Just to add, the girl with long blond hair was also very kind.
Have recommended this place to many friends and family
The food is amazing and staff very friendly and helpful
The decor and atmosphere is very relaxed and stylish
The food was wonderful, both the traditional tapas and inventive new ones.
Leo runs a great team, who convey his processional, relaxed and comfortable manner. Everyone is super pleasant, and very helpful. The service is matched by high quality food standard that we're alays delighted with.
Good food , great care over dietary requirements . Friendly service but not overbearing . We generally find that we are looked after well here , especially if Leo and Gori are on . Our wine waiter seemed unaware we had ordered a bottle of Torremayor and not just a glass , but that was just a minor blip . I have recommended Iberica to many friends and shall continue to do so. Had a nice ambience for a sunny Wednesday evening in Glasgow
It was very quiet on a Sunday lunch. Wine selection wasnt great and seemed expensive. Service was friendly and warm but slow, and a "lingering lunch" became a bit frustrating having to wait for drinks, plates to be cleared, menus and then for coffees . Bill for 4 excluding tip, and one bottle of wine was £120. This was based on 9 tapas and 4 coffees. Decor lovely, food was fine, but it didn't compete with others in same market for me.
My friend and I went for dinner and drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff were so attentive. Perfect setting for any type of night out
Iberica is a lovely casual dining experience. The food reminds you of a hot summer in Spain, the staff are very attentive.
Pricey for small and pretty very average tapas. One dish neither of us couldn’t eat, might be a person preference but it was so bitter. The server kindly said they’d take the dish off the bill but unknown to me until I’d left the restaurant that voided the lunch deal and we ended up paying more than we would have if the dish was left on the bill. I’m sure that’s an innocent error but I have to say overall I didn’t really enjoy the taste of the food and despite having 3 dishes each I left hungry.
Great evening with delicious food and wines . They accommodate my husband's gluten intolerance really and are very attentive , ensuring there is no chance of gluten contamination . One of my favourite dishes is the crispy aubergine in honey , and the classmates amongst the best I've tasted .Service is always friendly but not overbearing .
Food is good. Perfectly cooked calamari but unfortunately the Spanish waitress had the attitude of a two year old. Nice ambiance.
Fantastic place to experience the alternative Spanish regional cuisine, atmosphere just perfect, but the prices were a bit too high for the size of the portions.
Me and my partner came here on a Friday night. I had been here before for a birthday dinner and fancied trying it again, the atmosphere and design of the restaurant was fantastic. It felt cosy but modern. we tried a few of the tapas dishes which were the ham, the calamari and the croquettes as well as other dishes but the calamari was so tasty we ordered another dish of it! I also tried one of their gins that was recommended by the bar which thyme and an orange peel in it which was delicious! would definitely recommend and would love to go back soon.
