Relax with friends or colleagues over tapas for lunch or after work drinks, have night out with friends or a romantic meal for two. We promise to put the authentic Spanish touch, whatever the occasion!
This was an absolutely lovely meal. The service was excellent and the food was superb. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very tasty food but very overpriced for the quantity. The place is lovely but wouldn’t rush back as we thought it very overpriced.
This is a stunning restaurant with amazing food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a really fabulous evening
Lovely food slightly on expensive side but good quality. Very friendly service
The food was lovely and staff were friendly but this restaurant is massively over priced. £67 for a two course Tapas meal for two without any alcohol. It’s no wonder this was the only Tapas available for an early evening meal at short notice in Leeds on a Saturday night...
An excellent meal with fabulous service, will definitely come again
A beautiful setting with amazing food. We all had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment.
Pretty good, but a little bit salty!
Great food and lovely atmosphere
This was our second visit and the food we have ordered was very salty with both visit. But the place is amazing! We will try it again soon!
Leed's best kept Spanish secret!
Iberica is situated in one of the finest buildings I have had the pleasure to eat in. High ceilings beautifully decorated with large art deco chandeliers and oil paintings tastefully hung on the walls, it truly is a beautiful and inspiring setting for a dinner.
The service was good, nothing amazing! They had run out of four of the white wines, so we only had a choice of one wine.. but luckily it didn't disappoint.
We ordered a range of tapas to share between 3 of us, 2-3 plates each and a cheese and meat selection. This was MORE than enough food, and gave us ample opportunity to sample a lot of what Iberica had to offer. I particularly enjoyed the crispy aubergine, chorizo lollipops and patatas bravas! Some of the food was a little avante garde, and I didn't quite understand what I was eating, and as a keen foodie, this is something I'd like to learn more about! I think to improve the experience at Iberica, the waitors should explain each dish (which may be more unfamiliar to the customer) just to give a clearer idea of how the concept was created.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the building itself is a reason to go back, absolutely stunning. Very impressed! Thank you
Sadly was really disappointed with our dinner at Iberica Leeds. A few weeks ago I had visited Iberica Victoria for my birthday with friends and was blown away by the quality of the food. I was so excited that I came home and planned a trip with my boyfriend to the restaurant in Leeds. The service was pretty slow - we didn't get asked for our drinks order for about ~15 mins and then they took about 10 minutes to arrive. It wasn't especially busy but understandable for a Saturday night. The service for the rest of the evening was great - unfortunately the food was not.
All of the dishes were bland and just not as tasty as they had been in London which was a shame - in particular the fish dishes (which were the ones I had enjoyed the most in London). The gambas were not garlicky at all, in fact they tasted overwhelming of red wine - and not a fresh bottle at that. The squid ink rice tasted like off fish and the calamari very 'wet'.
I hate to be negative, especially about a meal I was so looking forward to but I feel for the price and the quality of the food (which I have to say was presented beautifully) I was disappointed.
Very stylish venue and the staff were all great, very friendly and helpful.
We have previously had an excellent meal at Iberica so this was a rather disappointing experience. The service was immaculate but the food was mediocre at best. Two of the tapa (the hake and the salt cod) were borderline unpleasant and many of the rest were over seasoned and left an unpleasant taste in the mouth. The best was the simplest - pan tomate
Delicious food , good service and beautiful building .
Lovely food in very pleasant surroundings. Pas choices included the classics but also some unusual and tasty dishes. Service good, not intrusive. Would definitely go again.
Great setting and beautiful building however the food was very average. Half n half meat/cheese board had hardly any cheese on it. The calamari was chewy and the rest was pretty standard for a middle range chain restaurant. Unfortunately we left feeling quite dissapointed as this place had come recommended by a number of people....maybe we were just unlucky. Much preferred the food at pintura.
the food and service was very good the only thing we were disappointed with is that they charge you for water even though we had spent £150 they still needed £4 .50 from me
Absolutely phenomenal! Gorgeous food, great choice for tapas. Everything was delicious. The drinks were great, cava sangria is superb! I would highly recommend. We didn’t feel rushed after we had finished even though it was a Saturday night and that meant we could finish our drinks in a leisurely way. Perfect!
Spent a lovely evening with my daughter after gin festival, shame we couldn’t have paella due to time
We thought the bullding was fabulous - beautifully decorated, calm and lovely - really contributed to our enjoyment of the meal. The food was mostly divine - perfect Croquetas, fabulous crunchy aubergine, ham, tomato bread... the only small criticisms..... the Chuletiillas - tiny lamb chops were overcooked and a bit dry. The Rice Pudding was very creamy - but not enough rice in it!!!
It was a great venus for us and we will definitely be back!
Faultless and fun
We will definitely go again
Everything was perfect
Very good food and service. Waitress had excellent knowledge of the menu. We were celebrating a birthday and received a cava and ice cream on the house for the person having the birthday - a very nice touch, thank you.
Excellent food and great ambiance. A very smart restaurant and the food and choices were great. A little expensive but you do get what you pay for. We will definitely go again.
Fantastic venue & brilliant service, would definitely return, thank you for a brilliant evening
Friendly and generally capable staff. Our server brought more water promptly (my pet peeve is waiting for water). Food was all delicious. It was explained that the food comes as it’s ready, but we were disappointed that we had patatas bravas and potato croquettes arrive a while before anything else. As they are clearly accompaniments to a more main dish, they should come alongside other items. They were cool by the time any of the meat or fish dishes arrived. One dish was forgotten and my guest had to remind a waiter. Otherwise we were happy!
I booked with friends, prior to an event at the town hall. The helpful staff made sure we were served quickly but did not feel rushed. Food was fantastic, wine good quality and staff were attentive but not intrusive. Would thoroughly recommend!
The only disappointment I felt here is that we had not discovered Iberica Leeds before now!
A great find for fab service, food and environment!
Will definitely go again.
Overall fine - we deliberately ordered the starters and main courses separately (about 10 minutes apart) as we wanted them to be brought separately... but everything was brought all at once... Maybe we should have expected this given it is a Tapas restaurant but it seemed fairly obvious that it was wanted as separate courses or we would have ordered it all at the same time ... Anyway - the restaurant took away the main course and re-served us once we had finished the starters so it was no big deal ... If you eat here and want time between courses - say this explicitly to the servers so they know ... Other than that everything was perfect - food was lovely, wine even better, ambience great.
I have had such mixed experiences of Ibérica. I’ve had some of the best meals in Leeds in Ibérica and also some of the worst dining experiences - Sunday night fell into the latter category. It’s such a shame as sometimes it is fantastic but I’ve given up now with how unpredictable/hit & miss it is. The restaurant was not geared up for a bank holiday Sunday night, there were hardly any staff working. We had to wait in the bar for 50 minutes before our table was ready despite the fact the restaurant wasn’t full. The service was insanely slow, so slow that we left before dessert!! The food was not up to the usual standards and the portions were tiny... although this did provide some comedy value, the cheese board in particular was so tiny (about a quarter of the usual size) that it clearly took great skill to cut the cheese into such small pieces... all very bizarre. All in all I’ve had enough of the unpredictable quality and service... i won’t be returning.
Foods and wine was excellent. Surroundings are very elegant. Food is pricey but you get what you pay for. We would definitely go back and recommend to others.
Fantastic dining experience yet again! Will be back again soon!
Really delicious food, fairly pricey, but a good treat. Would prefer a more relaxed atmosphere
Great tapas restaurant in stunning surroundings. Based in a well maintained, beautifully restored period building. Good food too!
2nd time of dining here, 1st time there were 13 of us, this time 4. Still received the same high standard of attention & service. The food is fantastic too! Lovely ambience.
The food was out of this world, the whole place amazing. But they need to introduce more affordable wine. It was too extortionate and ruined the occasion. We would have loved to have made an evening of it, but refuse to pay over ten pound for a decent size wine.
Fab food, great venue you will not be disappointed
Delicious food, came out really quickly and the service was great !
Food was beautiful, interior design is beautiful, even the toilets are beautiful! Lovely atmosphere, chilled and relaxed to take your time with tapas. Just like the Spanish!
Best tapas I’ve had in Leeds. Great portion sizes and delicious
