I came as a group of 4 and we had a fabulous night! The food was amazing the waiter Lucas was fantastic! We had a slight hiccup with our meal and the manager came over and dealt with it so professionally and fantastically We will definitely back again, thank you!!
Great restaurant, decor is fantastic. Service was exceptional which is really good for a busy full restaurant. There is a varied food choice and portion sizes are large.
The floor upstairs moved and it spoilt the ambience as there was always someone moving. Not a varied selection as i thought, no chicken or beef dish and when we were downstairs it was freezing
Atmosphere and waiter were excellent. Slightly let down by the food - have high expectations of iberica as been to a few branches in London also. Slightly cold gambas and omelette which was a shame. Highlight was the pluma and octopus.

Some of the dishes are ridiculously good whereas some of them are a little bland (patatas bravas). The restaurant was very busy and if you are a table of 2 the likelihood is you will be less than 1 feet from the next table which on this occasion meant a very loud and rowdy table! We had to prompt for menus to be provided which wasn’t great but the waitress did provide her personal recommendations which was nice.

Our server was very friendly, and very good on the menu and with recommendations, but overall service was somewhat slow and inattentive. 10 minutes from being seated to having a menu or ordering a drink, a lengthy wait to have the table cleared, a lengthy wait for the bill...
Food was of a good standard, the restaurant is ‘solid’ in what it delivers. But when you pay your bill you won’t do it casually, you’ll do it with just a twinge of sourness at the price you’re being charged for an unexceptional experience.

I went with a friend for a treat, most of the tapas was really nice and at the start we were quite happy. I didn't expect it to be authentic but basically we wanted some nice Spanish food as a treat.
We had the paella to share and realised it was pretty tasteless and bland. We eventually said to each other is it me or is this pretty bad? It was £28 between us so we were pretty disappointed. We decided to tell them when they asked if everything was ok and then the manager came over. He said there was nothing he could do because the ingredients cost money and said to us we should add salt. His attitude was basically - it's an edible paella so what's the problem.
I think if you want some nice Spanish food I would try somewhere smaller and not a big chain like this. They aren't really concerned if your money is well spent and I really regretted spending my money on it

No paella which apparently is usual at the time of our table reservation, 18.45! Told we could wait an hour and half if we wanted to. Tapas dishes came out when ready which meant members of party waited twenty minutes for theirs after another member had already finished. I basically ate alone with everyone watching till theirs came by which point I’d finished so watched them eat.
Thanks for the 4* review! Unfortunately we have limited fire space to cook paella, this can mean advising a wait time to guests when demand is high. Next time, why not call ahead & pre-order to ensure it's ready for you to avoid disappointment! :) We advise our tapas is shared rather than per person & I am sorry to hear the dishes you chose arrived later than others. Whilst the setting was modern and inviting, the food was not the best tapas I’ve eaten and massively overpriced for what it was. There are much better tapas places in Manchester and I’ll be going back to these; sadly not here.

The food was very average for the price, the table we were given was not in a great place as waiting staff customers etc kept walking past. So ask for a table by window if special occasion etc. Overall depends on the cuisine you are after and area and price you are willing to pay, but I personally would not visit again.

My wife and I have dined at Iberica on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed the experience. Food and service are always to a high standard. We will continue to visit in the future. My only criticism is that the seats at the table are slightly lower than they ought to be.

Had a very enjoyable meal here again at the weekend, in a lovely booth upstairs, celebrating our Anniversary the staff looked after us with a glass of bubbly for us all. Love it here and can't wait for next visit.

The service was impeccable, the staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really nice and chilled and the food was lovely especially the chorizo lollipops the sauce was delicious! The only thing I would say is it was quite pricey for what you get, but the food is great and the ambience and staff make it worth it! This would be a perfect place for a date!
The food was delicious, particularly the aubergine, chorizo lollypops & cheesecake! The service was friendly and fast, however we did feel slightly neglected at the end when it took an age to get the bill and we were trying to get to the theatre. The restaurant is situated in Spinningfields which is always great for a nice meal out but is generally quite a pricy area so I would bare that in mind. Overall it was an enjoyable meal and I would go again.
Overpriced and lower quality than other tapas restaurants in Manchester
I really enjoyed the setting and the ambiance but the quality of the food let’s it down. It was all very basic and nothing blew me away. Premium price which is understandable for the location but you would also expect the food to be premium.

Went for a Friday evening meal before going to an event at the arena and was pleasantly quiet for a Friday evening in the bustling Spinningfields. Enjoyed a lovely gin before being seated and having the menu explained to us, the waiter recommended the ideal number of plates for 2 people which was perfect. Food was gorgeous, even though neither me or the other person are massive on meat etc. there was still a wonderful selection of veggie friendly/fish dishes, didn't feel like we were missing out on anything. Although the meat we did have was lovely and I'd happily recommend the restaurant to anyone.
