Overpriced and lower quality than other tapas restaurants in Manchester
I really enjoyed the setting and the ambiance but the quality of the food let’s it down. It was all very basic and nothing blew me away. Premium price which is understandable for the location but you would also expect the food to be premium.
Really good food and service. Would deffo recommend.
Went for a Friday evening meal before going to an event at the arena and was pleasantly quiet for a Friday evening in the bustling Spinningfields. Enjoyed a lovely gin before being seated and having the menu explained to us, the waiter recommended the ideal number of plates for 2 people which was perfect. Food was gorgeous, even though neither me or the other person are massive on meat etc. there was still a wonderful selection of veggie friendly/fish dishes, didn't feel like we were missing out on anything. Although the meat we did have was lovely and I'd happily recommend the restaurant to anyone.
Not a huge fan of tapas to start with but having said that it was ok
Some dishes we had better than others
Unfortunately they forgot one dish so that came late, which was annoying as you didn't really feel like it then!
Service was fine
Waiting time for most of the food was fine
I have had better tapas but I have had a lot worse, all in all I would go back, maybe a lunch.
Good food and friendly service 👌
Lovely food, premises & perfect service. Good experience!
Service was attentive . It was a very hot sunny day and we set on the outdoor veranda which was in shade when we sat down. The sun moved around however and we asked to move inside but they closed a shade over the veranda and kept checking back to see if all was well.
The food was excellent although a few of the dishes were on the pricey side but extremely tasty with good size portions.
Fantastic as always!
Exceptional service, low key, friendly
it was fine - but overly expensive for what the food was..
Wasn’t greeted when I arrived and was made to feel like I was a nuisance as I broke up a conversation between the staff to get to my table.
But our server was great and the food was amazing.
Lovely restaurant but the food and service wasn’t as good as I was expecting. The wait staff seemed more concerned about a big group of people sat near us and seemed to be waiting hand and food on them yet taking half an hour to bring us some water for the table. When the food came if was flavourless and bland. Sad to say but it wasn’t worth what it cost at all
Very enjoyable meal, excellent wine list too. The dishes were very well prepared and delicious.
Amazing tapas. I’ve eaten tapas in Spain and around the world. This is one of the best tapas restaurants I’ve eaten at
The atmosphere is great and the service is great
My new go to place in Manchester
Far to expensive for the food which was pretty disappointing! First dish came out then the last 20mims later!!
Really bland food I expected big flavours for such small plates and high prices really disappointed
Food great. But was disappointed that the Open Table special offer (3 courses, plus a glass of Cava, plus dessert) was not extended to pescatarians/vegetarians. This meant that two members in our group of four could not eat from this menu as no substitutes were offered or made available. We were told our only option was to eat A La Carte. What made the extra disappointing was I had specified we had two pescatarians in the party and that would would all be parting in the Open Table offer both at the time of booking and upon our arrival. It was only at the table we were told that menu wasn’t going to be suitable to two members of our group.
Excellent service and authentic food. We'll definitely be back.
Food and atmosphere was amazing, our server Eddie was superb as was Joe on the bar who made us some great cocktails we requested even though they weren’t on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!
The service was really good. Had the set menu offer but it wasn't worth the money as the food wasnt that great
Outstanding food, service and ambiance, will return again
Everything ok but only ok. Felt like a restaurant chain but nothing more. Food average but over priced. Cocktails good on a positive note.
On the hottest day of the year we were glad of the air conditioning in the restaurant. We opted for a Jug of Sangria which although a little pricey £25 a jug was welcomed in the heat.I dined with my husband and we opted for 3 tapas each with help from the waiter and waitress.Service was excellent and the staff great. For early evening it was busy, think many people had finished work early.
After the tapas which chose a desert .My tarts de Santiago was amazing likewise so was my husbands cheesecake.
We have dined here once before and will certainly return.
Very nice and pleasant atmosphere, great service. Really liked that the servers introduced the menu a little bit and gave good recommendations. 10/10 would recommend!
We booked a table for tapas for my daughters graduation and we were not disappointed.
I thought the staff were absolutely lovely, offering different tables, whether I wanted to try the wine before purchase or the ham. They were great.
It has a relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend .
The meal at the Iberica lived up to the very high standards we received at the Marylebone restaurant. the service and food was excellent and we had the opportunity to chat and discuss the best drinks to have with the hams and cheeses with the manager (sherry and iberico ham is a winner). Well worth a visit but do it properly and take your time and enjoy it
Staff were very friendly and the food and drinks were great
We had paella - which takes two people to want to eat it. Having been on holiday to Spain we had eaten it before but the staff felt the need to tell us what we were about to eat. Unfortunately the serving was much smaller than I’ve eaten in Spain and there were no crispy bits but there were plenty prawns and seafood. The big surprise was the octopus and potatoes with a garlic paprika mayonnaise which knocked my socks off we had this to share as a starter. It was a spectacular dish.
Date with my husband. We both love tapas so couldn’t wait to. It was fantastic, the food was amazing and we honestly can’t wait to go back.
Great food and service , will be back again , the twice cooked lamb is fantastic
Great location, great food, good service
Lovely food, brilliant customer service and customer satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this place for any special event or just a good meal out.
I will definitely re-visit this restaurant again the food was exceptional and excellent value for money!
Iberica was a very pleasant experience to dine at. I was dining with my partner and we decided to go for 3 tapas per person as suggested by the waiter. We had the pulpo (suggested), the scallops (suggested), the chorizo lollipops, the twice cooked lamb, the artichoke hearts, and the patatas bravas. All of the items were amazing; fresh, a great balance of flavours, and extremely tasty. My favourites were the octopus (pulpo) and the chorizo lollipops that came with a pear aioli. The octopus was cooked perfectly, slightly charred and so tender, it was a delight. I have never had such tender octopus. The chorizo lollipops were amazing as well, although quite fatty as there was a lot of aioli (but I enjoyed that very much). The pear was subtle but you could definitely taste it and it was delightful. Also, I had a pear cider from Galicia and this has became my favourite cider flavour! It was very refreshing and tasted great. Overall, the staff was very kind and attentive, the ambiance was lacking a bit of liveliness but it was probably because we dined at 5pm. I really had an amazing experience at Iberica. I will surely come again!
To much noise in the restaurante and it is very difficult to talking
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something nice for a special event or just a lovely meal out.
We were greeted with warm welcome and 2 glasses of cava to wish us a happy anniversary which was a lovely touch. We sat on the terrace near to all the hustle and bustle of Spinningfields and were treated to the live music from the pub opposite. The food was delicious, the service was great and all the staff were very attentive. A 12% discretionary charge was added onto the bill which I don’t agree with for a table of 2, I would have tipped more if they’d have left it to us to sort. That’s my only grumble though, all in all a great way to celebrate our anniversary and great for small and large parties alike.
Food was amazing, sangria was delicious. Our waitress was really helpful. Would have preferred the seating downstairs, lacked a little atmosphere upstairs
