it was fine - but overly expensive for what the food was..
Wasn’t greeted when I arrived and was made to feel like I was a nuisance as I broke up a conversation between the staff to get to my table.
But our server was great and the food was amazing.
Lovely restaurant but the food and service wasn’t as good as I was expecting. The wait staff seemed more concerned about a big group of people sat near us and seemed to be waiting hand and food on them yet taking half an hour to bring us some water for the table. When the food came if was flavourless and bland. Sad to say but it wasn’t worth what it cost at all
Very enjoyable meal, excellent wine list too. The dishes were very well prepared and delicious.
Amazing tapas. I’ve eaten tapas in Spain and around the world. This is one of the best tapas restaurants I’ve eaten at
The atmosphere is great and the service is great
My new go to place in Manchester
Far to expensive for the food which was pretty disappointing! First dish came out then the last 20mims later!!
Really bland food I expected big flavours for such small plates and high prices really disappointed
Food great. But was disappointed that the Open Table special offer (3 courses, plus a glass of Cava, plus dessert) was not extended to pescatarians/vegetarians. This meant that two members in our group of four could not eat from this menu as no substitutes were offered or made available. We were told our only option was to eat A La Carte. What made the extra disappointing was I had specified we had two pescatarians in the party and that would would all be parting in the Open Table offer both at the time of booking and upon our arrival. It was only at the table we were told that menu wasn’t going to be suitable to two members of our group.
Excellent service and authentic food. We'll definitely be back.
Food and atmosphere was amazing, our server Eddie was superb as was Joe on the bar who made us some great cocktails we requested even though they weren’t on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!
The service was really good. Had the set menu offer but it wasn't worth the money as the food wasnt that great
Outstanding food, service and ambiance, will return again
Everything ok but only ok. Felt like a restaurant chain but nothing more. Food average but over priced. Cocktails good on a positive note.
On the hottest day of the year we were glad of the air conditioning in the restaurant. We opted for a Jug of Sangria which although a little pricey £25 a jug was welcomed in the heat.I dined with my husband and we opted for 3 tapas each with help from the waiter and waitress.Service was excellent and the staff great. For early evening it was busy, think many people had finished work early.
After the tapas which chose a desert .My tarts de Santiago was amazing likewise so was my husbands cheesecake.
We have dined here once before and will certainly return.
Very nice and pleasant atmosphere, great service. Really liked that the servers introduced the menu a little bit and gave good recommendations. 10/10 would recommend!
We booked a table for tapas for my daughters graduation and we were not disappointed.
I thought the staff were absolutely lovely, offering different tables, whether I wanted to try the wine before purchase or the ham. They were great.
It has a relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend .
The meal at the Iberica lived up to the very high standards we received at the Marylebone restaurant. the service and food was excellent and we had the opportunity to chat and discuss the best drinks to have with the hams and cheeses with the manager (sherry and iberico ham is a winner). Well worth a visit but do it properly and take your time and enjoy it
Staff were very friendly and the food and drinks were great
We had paella - which takes two people to want to eat it. Having been on holiday to Spain we had eaten it before but the staff felt the need to tell us what we were about to eat. Unfortunately the serving was much smaller than I’ve eaten in Spain and there were no crispy bits but there were plenty prawns and seafood. The big surprise was the octopus and potatoes with a garlic paprika mayonnaise which knocked my socks off we had this to share as a starter. It was a spectacular dish.
Date with my husband. We both love tapas so couldn’t wait to. It was fantastic, the food was amazing and we honestly can’t wait to go back.
Great food and service , will be back again , the twice cooked lamb is fantastic
Great location, great food, good service
Lovely food, brilliant customer service and customer satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this place for any special event or just a good meal out.
I will definitely re-visit this restaurant again the food was exceptional and excellent value for money!
Iberica was a very pleasant experience to dine at. I was dining with my partner and we decided to go for 3 tapas per person as suggested by the waiter. We had the pulpo (suggested), the scallops (suggested), the chorizo lollipops, the twice cooked lamb, the artichoke hearts, and the patatas bravas. All of the items were amazing; fresh, a great balance of flavours, and extremely tasty. My favourites were the octopus (pulpo) and the chorizo lollipops that came with a pear aioli. The octopus was cooked perfectly, slightly charred and so tender, it was a delight. I have never had such tender octopus. The chorizo lollipops were amazing as well, although quite fatty as there was a lot of aioli (but I enjoyed that very much). The pear was subtle but you could definitely taste it and it was delightful. Also, I had a pear cider from Galicia and this has became my favourite cider flavour! It was very refreshing and tasted great. Overall, the staff was very kind and attentive, the ambiance was lacking a bit of liveliness but it was probably because we dined at 5pm. I really had an amazing experience at Iberica. I will surely come again!
To much noise in the restaurante and it is very difficult to talking
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for something nice for a special event or just a lovely meal out.
We were greeted with warm welcome and 2 glasses of cava to wish us a happy anniversary which was a lovely touch. We sat on the terrace near to all the hustle and bustle of Spinningfields and were treated to the live music from the pub opposite. The food was delicious, the service was great and all the staff were very attentive. A 12% discretionary charge was added onto the bill which I don’t agree with for a table of 2, I would have tipped more if they’d have left it to us to sort. That’s my only grumble though, all in all a great way to celebrate our anniversary and great for small and large parties alike.
Food was amazing, sangria was delicious. Our waitress was really helpful. Would have preferred the seating downstairs, lacked a little atmosphere upstairs
In Manchester for just one night and found Iberica. The food was incredible. They have a nice wine list, and we started with a meat and cheese board. They had a special Galation menu: the white asparagus, Queen Scallops and Ocotpus dishes off the specials were incredible. The asparagus has a being sea asparagus on top, with a white sauce and some crunch. The octopus was tender, on top of buttery potatoes and plenty of paprika. The scallops were served on shell, with a spicy crumble on top. Finally the chicken with rice was excellent, if you don’t want to wait for the paella, this is an excellent choice. Finally, the beef meatballs were incredibly flavorful.
The service was excellent, and Claudia took great care of us.
The food was superb.
We all loved the aubergine dish and the tortilla was one of the best we have tasted in Manchester. We sat in a booth, which was very comfortable and the service was exceptional
Splendid welcome and service matched by the quality of the food and wine. The Manager is a gem who generates a great atmosphere and tremendous hospitality. You feel very special after a visit - a truly memorable time. Thank you!
As always, amazing food and service from Pepe. Everything we ordered was delicious! I only knocked a star of for service as we did have to wait twenty minutes for our table to be ready, but luckily there was room in the small bar area for us to wait. Once at the table service was faultless.
Was recommended by a friend and it was fab , service food everything , only 1small complaint , and it’s trivial, they asked was it a special occasion and I explained it was my nieces birthday and they said (the guy who booked it) they would do a little something , which they didn’t 😩, but a small oversight , would come again
One of our party was disabled with a large wheelchair. The restaurant accommodated us easily and the service was excellent.
The food was excellent and we had a thoroughly great evening.
Only criticism I have is the discretionary 12.5% service this was added automatically and I always leave a tip but when I asked about this the staff were quiet rude with us. I wasn't saying I wasn't happy to pay a tip but it is optional and it was the attitude I received when I asked about it. We have been Iberica many times love the place, atmosphere and food but was disappointed with the response I got from staff hence lower rating
Me and my husband had an amazing meal here Sunday our waitress made the experience 10/10
She went above and beyond we will deffo be back with the family
Hi Lauren, Thanks for your 5 star review! We cannot wait to welcome you with the family on your next visit. Kindest Regards, Holly Richardson
The food tasted good but the paella, albeit tasty, was the biggest disappointment. Looked great when it came out, but considering it’s a huge dish that it comes out in the portion size was actually quite small. £28 for two people was overpriced when it really only fed one person.
We dined here for my mums birthday. The setting was fantastic, the drinks and food available were incredible and there was a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant. Typical Spanish tapas was available and due to the layout of the restaurant, you even felt like you were sat in Spain! This is one of my many visits here and every time they improve and surprise me! Would recommend to anyone!
Hello! Thank you so much for the lovely review. It is a pleasure to be the restaurant you chose to celebrate your Mum's Birthday. We are very lucky to have such a beautiful restaurant, and the layout on our ground floor definitely creates the spanish vibe! We hope that on your next visit we can continue exceeding your expectations! We look forward to welcoming you very soon! Kind Regards, Holly Richardson
