Friendly staff with Very average food but I’m glad they’re open.
This is the first restaurant I have been to since the easing of lock down and Iberica made me feel very safe
Staff were friendly and explained everything (no paper menus, all digital etc) we were far enough away from people and I really felt very safe and secure - they had all the precautions and I loved being back in a restaurant!
It was great to be back at Iberica especially as it’s a restaurant we got to often. Sadly, the menu has changed a lot and the portion sizes have become significantly smaller. The food and service is still very good but I just found that value for money has definitely decreased.
Really great service and such good food and really good with compliance with social distancing
overpriced food, half the items on the menu not available
The latest visit by me to Iberica, though my first to their Victoria outlet. Went on 4th July with 3 friends, on the day the Lockdown ended, so ate 'socially spaced' and with the staff wearing masks... a new reality....
Good service and good food, as always. The tapas menu seemed reduced somewhat in range, but that could be due to post-Lockdown recovery in terms of what they could offer. The plates of cured meat and ham are their strong point, we followed that with a series of tapas, tortilla, batatas bravas, meatballs, etc. All good quality. Portions are a little small, even for tapas. Dishes are priced £7 to £15 each which I can just about cope with due to their generally high quality but I must say £12 for the albondigas (meatballs) is a bit much in return for 4 small meatballs swimming in a creamy sauce.
Overall, I love their concept. Classy design, nice tilework and woodwork (even in a brand new build like the ZigZag building), airy and spacious and staff who are customer focussed. Their almost entirely Spanish wine list is strong and well chosen, if firmly priced. Bottles range from £27 to three figures and most are in the £35-£55 category.
Overall, it's three times the price of eating out in Valencia or San Sebastian but Spain this ain't, of course. I probably prefer their Marylebone outlet but that's a personal preference. Would award 4.5 or 5 stars but I don't think I can given the portion size and price of some of the tapas dishes.
It was my girlfriends birthday and we were treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco each and the staff brought out a free dessert and sang her happy birthday. Made me look like a very good boyfriend, thank you!
I celebrated my birthday at Iberica on Friday night.
It was a great night with lovely food and great service. - the croquettes were amazing!
It was a very quiet service (with of course everything going on) And therefore towards the end I did feel a little rushed To leave - last orders were called at 10pm which I’m not if that is normal for this restaurant. Lovely meal but I slight shame on the rushed service considering our reservation didn’t start until 8:30.
Non the less we will be returning (we will just book an earlier slot!)
Amazing food and very helpful staff. Absolutely delicious sangria
Quieter given the current state of affairs, but the same excellent service and high quality food delivered in a timely manner. A very enjoyable evening.
Our waitress Maria was lovely , attentive , professional and food / wine delicious as ever .
Great service from very attentive staff. My Mum's needs were looked after when orders were being taken. We all really enjoyed the great wine and variety of meat and vegetarian tapas dishes. I would recommend this restaurant in particular the Victoria branch very relaxed and laid back. The one downside was the bill almost £500 for seven people however I guess that is what you can expect from a high end Spanish restaurant. I wouldn't visit frequently but for special occasions it can't be beat. Apart from that a wonderful experience and I look forward to doing it again when an event arises.
The food and wine were great and the service prompt and friendly. There was a little bit of a delay being seated and it was quite pricey for tapas which were the only slight negatives. Overall, it was lovely and we would go back.
Food was good but we thought a bit rushed.
Expected to get the bread and oil first but all dishes came at the same time and within about 5 minutes of placing the order.
Nonetheless cannot fault the food, excellent!
No real complaints as the food was fine but very overpriced for tapas.
It was the perfect venue for a birthday celebration and even though I only mentioned it in passing on arrival, a special drink was brought for us to celebrate the birthday.
The service was amazing - very friendly, lively, and with plenty of suggestions for what to pick from the menu.
Fantastic spanish resturant, in London.
Don’t miss it.
Excellent, welcoming place for a light meal of tapas. Good service from very friendly staff most of whom come from Asturias in Spain. There is a 'guest' tapa that changes every few months and we had a great one of rice and chicken from Murcia. The other standard tapas are very authentic and there is Mahou beer on tap. We will certainly be visiting Iberica again.
Nice place to catch up with a friend near Victoria. Authentic Spanish tapas.
The service was great - can't fault it. Attentive, but not in your face.
Food was pretty good, but price a bit of a laugh. The cheese plate for example: 5 thin slices for £13. I'd rather spend twice that for two or three cheeses from Brindisa and enjoy them at home. Likewise the bread - spend a couple of ££'s more and you can a whole entire organic loaf from Planet Organic or somewhere (including other restaurants!). Those are the most galling examples of highway robbery, otherwise was mostly reasonable for London, except for a few other items. Nice selection of sherry. I'll go again.
It has just been amazing!!
It was my birthday a couple of days before and didn’t say anything about it, they prepared a table in the private dining room and surprised all of us with a bottle of prosecco for toasting!! Just great food and great staff.
Iberica was great! We went for a birthday celebration and the service was incredible and the food was lovely as well. We ordered a few small plates and particularly enjoyed the lamb (ordered one at first and then asked for two more). Everything was plated beautifully and we had an amazing time. We'll be back!
Good food and rapid service, great place for an informal dinner
Lovely staff , food and ambience.
Being close to Victoria a great bonus
The Iberica restaurant is trendy beautifully decorated and has outstanding service.
The tapas dishes that we tried were really delicious.
However, we were disappointed with the Paella. We are lovers of Paella and as such we have eaten quite a few. The description of the Paella said that it had prawns, langoustines and squid. The langoustines were nice and plentiful, the prawns not that many but what shocked us was that the squid was nowhere to be seen. When we queried it the restaurant manager I believed, came to explain that the squid was cut in very small squares and that it was there.
Seriously she was lovely and made an effort to show us the pieces but honestly, they were so tiny that you had to really really look for it.
The rice even though delicious was quite dry and burned, I am aware that traditionally you need to scrap the bottom of the dish which is fine by me however not enough rice was in it so it became dry.
I would have prefered to have paid more for the Paella and have enough rice and meat in it.
The staff and ambiance was nice but unfortunately the food let it down most notably the paella which was awful.
Great service and lovely food:) would definitely visit again!
Disappointing food. Over salted and poor value for money. Extremely loud and difficult to chat with people.
They greeted us very kindly and was offered to put our coats and bags in the cloakroom. I instantly loved this since I hate having to stuff a chair with all the things I usually carry on a weekday.
We were shown our table which was already set up with glasses of fresh Prosecco. It was such a lovely touch being my birthday-
The waiter came instantly to tell us about the menu and explained it to us. We were soon enjoying one of the best croquetas I´ve ever had and a fresh delicious pint of Mahou. We had an amazing tortilla, gambas, and bollin de chorizo. Even the bread with tomato was delicious.
The dessert came accompanied with a candle and my delightful waiter sang the happy birthday to me along with my guests. I felt spoiled and happy.
That cheesecake is out of this world! I totally recommend it.
We were again indulged with an amazing peach liquor to finish a most perfect night.
I felt pampered beyond expectations!
I´m very happy to have celebrated my 40th there and will come back again really soon.
Went last Saturday with my parents who were visiting me from Italy. We had such a great time, the food was amazing as well as the ambience! But what really made us enjoy our dinner was the friendly and funny Enrico! He helped us immediately when we asked to change table because it was too cold, he found us a very nice table and suggested us the best tapas!
We will surely come back again!
Good tasty and very interesting selection of tapas and dishes. Overall a great experience. Rather expensive though.
Just OK. Menu interesting, but missing presentation and quality staff. Noise level on the second floor was surprisingly loud. Not memorable for the cost.
Miguel provides an excellent service. Felt like I was in Madrid! Great experience, can’t wait to go back.
A team night out was wonderful with a great selection of delicious tapas with truly friendly service.
Had a leisurely lunch at Iberica. The food was excellent and a real cut above what I expected. The wine was an unexpected fine. Service was attentive without being fussy. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunchtime but there was gently of space and privacy. The meal was not cheap but the price was justified.
Great as usual
Great Spanish food and pleasant surroundings, very convenient location. Service particularly friendly and good tonight.
Thanks to Luis... he made our evening very enjoyable. He recommended great suggestions and a lovely wine.
A fantastic meal with fresh tasty dishes. Would recommend the prawns. Our waiter Miquel was so helpful and attentive. Will definitely return.
my favourite restaurant at the moment would recommend it
