Good food and service.
Great place and good food! Everyone was super nice and friendly and our waiter Miguel was fantastic. Will definitely go back.
Came here before travelling and absolutely loved it. The food and cocktails were amazing!
Very close to the theatre. Nice enough food and drinks - good for a pre show bite. Hot food could do with being warmer, prawns and potatoes not the hottest but ok.
Beautiful food & great service! The restaurant itself was slightly hot & there didn’t seem to be any air conditioning which was a bit uncomfortable at points however besides that it was wonderful!
Very relaxed , staff attentive but not intrusive. We had a few tapas dishes and wine.
Wine was lovely and tapas was great. Will be going back.
Incredibly delicious, as usual - impossible not to overeat!
Had a dinner with friends. One of them came from Tokyo and my goal was to made him feel happy, having good foods and wine. He really enjoyed a variety of tapas, sea food paella and wine. So did the rest of us.
The service at Iberica Victoria really lets this restaurant down. The food (when the correct order eventually arrived) was good but it shouldn’t take 4 requests over a 20 minute period to get served a drink nor 3 clarifications of our order to get the right dishes.
The dinners was just great. We enjoy the place, the food, the service... we will be back!
We enjoyed our visit to Iberica - tasty tapas, good drinks, right atmosphere - although the service was less than perfect. We had to ask three or four times for one dish that they had forgotten to bring. That said, when we complained we got another dish of tapas on the house. I would certainly visit again.
Great selection of contemporary and traditional tapas, attentive staff and nice ambience.
Close to Theatre. Service was hampered by waiter having limited English and not bringing wine refills very quickly. Language problems limited our food order as we weren't sure whether we had enough or not - we didn't and one diner went & got refills from Pret a Manger across the road. Menu would be better with some low cost refills eg almonds, salad things. Tap water not refilled. May have been better if we had chosen to sit inside.
We had an early meal at Iberica before going to the theatre. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious , with a mix of traditional and modern tapas.
The Chorizo lollipops and the twice cooked lamb were particular highlights.
I'm not often in Victoria but would definitely visit again if I am in the area.
For a special dinner this was the perfect spot. It’s simple food done with care and consideration. The food and drink pairings were all spot on and the desert was divine. We’ll be headed back here soon.
our initial booking requirements were not met, however after speaking to staff they got us an appropriate table.
the food was quite pricey for what it was but they had a great gin selection
It’s our second time in a few days the food was superb lovely tapas. Staff were very friendly and professional attentive enough, but not overbearing. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to friends and business colleagues. It’s perfect for any occasion from lunch to dinner. We loved it Frank & Michelle Green.
Fantastic place with excellent food perfect for a quick meal. Staff seem to really care about the food and couldn't be friendlier. absolutely would recommend again and again
Had a lovely lunch at Iberica. Very friendly and good service. Each dish was very good, with black rice in squid ink and prawns the stand out dish. Some dishes are better value than others, ie croquetas and chorizo, whereas you don’t get much octopus for £14.50, particularly if sharing between more than 2 people.
The service was very prompt and friendly. They have a good drinks selection and a good choice of wine by the glass.
They have tried hard and quite successfully to create a Spanish feel to the restaurant but the real issue currently is the appalling standard of service, Even the supervisor leant over my wife to place plates on the table and the same lady removed plates whilst my wife was still eating. As a result we did not feel welcome.
The food was actually quite good
Food was great. Service was a little off - more style than substance. Waiter so keen to perform what he knew about the menu, he missed several things we asked, and even when we repeated the question, he didn't listen and the wrong drink was served. We then had to wait ages for the right one to come. Then at the end of our meal the bill had a pitcher of drinks from the table next to ours added by mistake and we had to wait a good 10 minutes to get it corrected. But food was lovely, and the loos are worth a visit!
We came here for my husbands birthday and were treated with such care, including a glass of fizzy! Both the food and service were exceptional and I can’t recommend the lamb and chorizo lollipops enough.
An excellent choice of delicious tapas. Portions of ham and cheese very small but tasty. We received a complimentary plate of cheese which was much appreciated. Good choice of wine too.
I've been here a few times and unfortunately the service is always poor, slow and unattentive. I only come back because its the only decent tapas place in the area. But if I'm not fussed about having tapas specifically, this definitely wouldn't be my first choice.
I was a little worried having seen previous reviews that the service would be slow. Surprisingly it was very quick. We went for pre theatre dinner and managed to get in and out in under an hour. However we both felt the food was not well seasoned. The prawns could have been better they seemed tasteless. We informed them my partner was gluten free but we might as well have not told then as there was no consideration. We did not know the menu well and most things recommended by the waitress ended up coming with bread so could not be consumed by my partner. Overall not a great experience.
Went here for a work lunch, great atmosphere and well spread out tables to be able to talk freely. Great food too.
very good for a pre-theatre lunch at the weekend. will return.
Food mediocre, Service ok, Small portions for the price
It was the perfect restaurant on our last night in London. From the time we arrived, the smile from the staff, service and let’s not forget the dishes, WOW!! Super impressed and loved every bite. Highly recommended and hope to stop in on our next visit to London.
Nice tapas restaurant well located on Victoria Street. Reasonably extensive menu. Good standard of cuisine. Ample wine list, but a little overpriced. Pleasant staff. Recommended.
Good quality tapas , speedy service and relaxed setting. Good position just off Victoria Street
Quite slow service but a good selection on the menu so worth a visit if in the area. The chorizo lollipops and croquettes were delicious
It was good but service was a bit slow and portions were small.
An excellent restaurant for a quick early meal before going to the theatre
Pallella that is worth the wait!
There is a noisy bar on the ground floor but I am old and decrepit so had booked for the quieter first floor. It’s an attractive space with tables for sixty plus. We had booked for 18:00 and only a couple of tables were taken.
The waiter showed us to a table so close to one of the taken tables that we were almost sitting in their laps. This really peeves me, it’s pure laziness on the part of the waiting staff - put the customers close together, less walking to do. I protested and we were offered a table marginally further away from the first.
The waiting staff were friendly and helpful but:
- there was no table allocation of waiting staff, one flagged down the nearest.
- they struggled to answer questions about any items on the menu.
Whoever is in charge of front of house needs to be given a wake up call.
The food was standard tapas, nothing special, no seasonality that I could see, no specials and NO BLOODY OLIVES. Why not?
Whatever is ordered they try to deliver to table simultaneously, OK with cold food but a disaster with hot. Five or six plates of hot food arrive at the same time - result - by the time you have finished some of it the rest is cold.
My suggestion is give the manager a night off and tell him to try the Opera Tavern to see how they do it. He might learn something - it’s OK but he’s not going to succeed unless he brings a bit of flair to the place.
Really delicious Spanish tapas. All fresh. Great Wine.
Loved the decor and interior. Food was underwhelming and not seasoned so was rather bland - shame.
The tapas was expensive and nothing special. The food was all brought out at once which meant it got cold at the table as we worked our way through it. Tapas should be staggered. Perhaps a way to turn tables round quickly?
