Loved it! Will definitely go back.
Very expensive for the amount and quality of food you get. Good location if you are attending a west end show afterwards. Service wasn’t good. Servers keeps stressing you and want you to go as fast as possible due to high turnover. You aren’t allowed to enjoy the expensive meal as there is pressure for you to leave. the decoration was nice but music is so loud you can’t hear the person in the other side of the table talk. Trendy place but not more than that.
This is now our second time and it was just as great as the first time. The dynamite shrimp with wasabi mayo is to die for. The first time I had the fish burger but this time went for the wagu burger and it was so good. This is one of our favourite places to eat
Highly recommend! The food is really delicious, I would suggest getting a mixture of starters and sharing. I have been there with one person and with a group of up to 12, the service has been great, the food comes really quickly and you leave the restaurant wanting to go back to try more!
Good casual food. Would defo go back.
The venue is cool, portions are really small for the price you pay. Taste was ok. Music too loud for my ears especially when you are dining. Good but small cocktails and over expensive (£11 is not worth it). Potentially this place could be outstanding if food would be more affordable and diners could feel satisfied with at least decent portions.
Very expensive. £80 for a noodle lunch for 3 with a Diet Coke each isn’t good value
Great food, ordered lots of small plates to share, nice atmosphere and quick service. Only negative is as you are being led to your table they inform you they need the table back in an hour and a half, almost feels like they want you out as soon as you are in! We booked for a pre-theatre dinner so were in and out in that time, but if you like to take your time/catch up you might feel rushed. They're very quick to take away empty plates/glasses, which was mildly annoying as things were being whisked away/checked to see if finished with all throughout the meal. Very loud music downstairs, but by the end of the meal you get used to the volume. Great atmosphere overall. Averaged 50 pounds a head, but can each much cheaper depending on what you order. Would definitely eat here again.
Great atmosphere, excellent cocktails, nice food! The staff are very present, helpful and friendly. The decor is eclectic and it makes for a fun evening-we sat downstairs which I would recommend for the full atmosphere
Service was very quick, food was good, fusion Japanese, great for quick bite, tables were very small.
Great food and atmosphere
Lovely decor, great music, really unusual exciting menu, great food. Unfortunately we were charged the wrong amount and then given £10 less change and then asked to rudely leave and vacate the table. Would come back again for the unbelievably tasty food!
Made a reservation, but when we got there it was closed. No info via text or email about it. Avoid at all cost.
Good food, but the service was pretty appalling. Our main waiter was fine apart from pouring water into our sake by mistake. But the manager was very rude to my friend, when we explained that one of our dishes hadn’t arrived, so the service really let the whole meal down. He didn’t need to be so aggressive and it makes me now to want to come here again.
Far too loud for a place with sit down eating. We couldn’t hear each other or the waitress. Honesty that put a massive downer on the entire evening. The food was alright and the staff provided no service at all yet you are charged 12% for service charge.
I would not go back nor recommend this to any one.
Why have a DJ and super clue level music if people to there to eat?! It’s not like you even have a dance floor. Completely pointless.
Kept taking our food and drinks away before we'd finished! Couldn't care less about service, it's just a tourist trap. Very much doubt the 5 star ratings are genuine.
Loved it. Lovely people and big and great tasting portions. Would come again anytime.
We went on New Year’s Eve and We enjoyed great service and great food! Loved it,
Love this place and recommend it to anyone who is cool and likes a good quality spotless, best designed, quirky, funky, fun place to be. Staff are extremely friendly and even have matching uniform, just love the Chinese style jackets they wear x
Fab place really enjoyed it in the heart of China town very modern and funky! Try the shushi it’s excellent advise to pre book
Absolutely loved it! The staff was awesome! Thank you!! :))
We enjoyed our first visit . Very good service from a very friendly waitress . Lovely burger and tempura chicken . Would go again.
Really loved this place, except the base on the music was so loud the furniture was vibrating. The staff refused to turn it down which was a real shame, it was such a small thing but had a huge impact on an otherwise lovely evening. Otherwise great food and really good value. I’d love to go there again - maybe a weekday lunchtime the music would be more appropriate?
Really cool restaurant and bar downstairs. Food is reasonably priced with a great selection. We had a small plate, main plate and shared a dessert with a beer each for £60. Not bad for central London! Service was friendly and quick. Decor cool... music a bit loud at times but other than that no complaints.
Requested upstairs seating which was accommodated with no problem. Food was very good as usual, and Ichibuns has one of the best value kids meals anywhere. Would be nice to see it with a burger option as an alternative to chicken though.
Great service, yummy food, fun place!
Lively spot with a varied menu to please all tastes. Fun vibe with great music, quality food and superb cocktails. Even a visit to the loo is an experience!
Ichibuns is like a high end fast food joint. It’s a good place for a quick inexpensive meal but don’t expect anything fancy. They don’t have enough toilets and there tends to be people waiting to use the bathroom pretty much where people are dining. It can get fairly noisy as it’s an easy place to take children, and it’s located in a very busy part of china town. That being said, the decor is nice- it’s fun, it’s spacious, clean, and the service was fantastic.
So delicious and entertaining for kids seing the kitch en and cookers in live !
We will go back for sure 😍
The food is great and love the decor. Service very very poor though. We were a group of 9 and 3 our mains arrived 35 mins before the rest !
Went with family from Canada. Cool place and menu that suits all... even a great kids menu. Very good service . Great ambience. Food was great recommend Wagu burgers
My mummy took me here. First we went to see Mary Poppins at the cinema. We then went to ichibuns where my whole family had a delicious burger and starters each. The ice cream was good to. My daddy who is pescatarian had the fish burger and he said it was lovely. Would recommend to a friend x
Everything on this menu is insane!!!!
Round 1: Sushi (maki selection is awesome)
Round 2: crispy rice
Round 3: Taco and Gyoza
It’s my new fave place and we will be there once a month
The food was very good, the service not so.
Food was good and atmosphere was fun. Slightly disappointed by the limited beer list despite their fantastic beer display downstairs. Otherwise all was great and food was served quickly and with good cheer. Wagyu cheeseburger spring roll was interesting and loved the gyoza. Definitely would recommend.
So juicy! so tasty! Also I am pretty sure they sprinkled the burger with Nicotine or another addictive drug.
Fun, trendy venue. Good variety of interesting food. The 'small plates' are definitely not small! I would definitely go back to try more of the sushi.
One of the best burgers i have tried in London. The meat was well-cooked. Would definitely visit again.
I was a little bit disappointed. The food was ok but definitely not worth its money. I regret that I did not choose any other restaurant nearby. I could have save money. The name though is creative!
Further, I was misleaded by the menu offered on opentable. It said that ichibuns has a Lunch Menu. This was not the case.
