First timer!! Went for a friends Birthday Dinner. Seated quickly. Lag time before our server came to take our orders. However, she was very attentive and patient as my friend and I initially did not our drinks from the bar. She gave us other options and we were pleased. Even more patient when my friend sent back her dinner. Momanager was awesome and came and checked on our table multiple times. Awesome Customer Service!!! Would have liked to have heard live singing - however the band playing instrumental was nice. Will Definitely Come Back!!

Everything about this dinner was perfect! The food and friendly staff bought us back home to East Texas in an environment where everyone is welcome. We went on a quiet Thursday night but we definitely plan to come back on a weekend with the live music. Definitely worth the drive from DC.

Great service and I love that all the food is local and/or Black-owned.

We had a much anticipated brunch at Ida B's with the family and the would highly recommend it. The service is excellent and it's what you would expect with the caliber of food and beverages served. We will definitely be back because there was just too much to try.

Biscuits and gravy were a perfect starter and so flavorful. Everything is so fresh too, which makes a huge difference. The chicken and waffles were great - the sweet potato waffles were surprisingly mild and just enough sweetness to balance the savory chicken on top. The portions are sizable and we had to take some to go. All of the breakfast options were delicious.

Ida B's Table was exquisite. Staff was amazing, attentive, and knowledgeable. Food was ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Entertainment was a three piece band. They were gifted musicians. The atmosphere was beautiful, and that is an understatement. It was a WHOLE ENTIRE VIBE!!! To top it all off, the titles of the expertly crafted adult beverages were named after my favorite literary geniuses. Do yourself a favor and experience Ida B's.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit Ida’s a handful of times now, and I can honestly say I’ve never had any less than a perfect evening.

On our first visit to Ida B's, we expected to be blown away by the quality of the food, so we were somewhat disappointed. We each got a signature dish, the fried chicken and the fried catfish, along with macaroni and cheese and Liberian greens. Everything was fine but not exceptional, and if anything a little under seasoned. The spicy dipping sauce was a helpful flavor boost. Service and atmosphere were good, but we thought the lunch entrees were pricey.

They do not seat incomplete parties, drinks arrived 15 min apart. Mac and cheese was cold. It was ok soul food. Will not return

Brunch: mini muffins and butter were awesome. Blackened chicken frittata was very good. Not too spicy because I'm not a fan of spicy and large. I could not finish. My husband loved his chicken and waffles and he is hard to please. Def would go back and do brunch and try dinner one day.

The food was nicely cooked but SO sweet. Like everything we ordered had 1 cup of sugar. I ordered the duck and it was practically crunchy candy. The dressing on the salads tasted like melted ice vanilla cream. Also the portions were OK but not great for the money. Maybe because they expect you to fill up on sugar, I don't know.
We had to repeatedly ask for water and at times we still didn't get it. I was overall disappointed and won't be going back.

Ambiance is great. Good for a date night or hanging with the girls. Live jazz musicians add a nice touch.
