Fantastic apart from their phones weren’t working so when I was trying to call to amend the booking no one was answering. I also sent an email and didn’t get a response. Other than that it was good
Great local restaurant, the tuna tartare is heavenly and so is the pasta. Had a lovely dinner overall!
Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding. Great neighborhood gem.
It is a very pleasant place but the menu is very short and you could just find nothing you like. The portions are even smaller so unless you have a 3-course meal you’ll leave hungry. The prices on the other hand are not. The food is tasty.
Extremely lovely restaurant and our local favourite.
Great food as always but our favourite dish, the pistachio pasta with shrimp has been taken off the menu. PLEASE bring it back, as we had this weekly it’s that terrific.
The tuna tartare with avacado is extremely good as is any dish with your superb gnocchi. One of our party is a vegan and found not much of a cholce so a menu addition for that would be great and also more salads too. Although the menu is not large everything is well done and it is always a pleasure to visit.
Used to go there with friends for their famous prawn and pistachio pasta, bit now they changed the menu and removed it 😔
The food is very nice and the place too , but sometimes the service is a bit slow .
Very relaxed atmosphere and good quality food - perfect for a quiet conversation with good wine list.
We were having dinner and the waitress kept filling our glasses with Prosecco even if the glasses were still half full. The etiquette is to fill a glass only when is empty. Also the restaurant call itself as Sicilian but only the some of the desserts are Sicilian. They should change the definition to Italian. The Manager was very nice and welcoming and smiley.
The staff was very helpful , although the restaurant did not have any highchair. Food was good, portions were the right size and desserts delicious.
The food at Iddu is delicious and very fresh. I definitely recommend this restaurant. There are very healthy options as well such as salmon or tuna tartar with quinoa--not what you would expect from an Italian restaurant!
Absolutely delicious food & stunning wine. Beautifully presented plates of exquisite ingredients - thank you
This Sicilian restaurant with warm, Italian service and perfectly cooked pasta feels like you're dining in Italy. Seasonal specials are always good, most recently a sublime risotto with porcini. The gelato is the real thing.
I would never recommend this restaurant even though its in my neighbourhood and i will never go back .Greeted by unfriendly, unpleasant waiter/barman
Bad uncaring service with the wrong attitude- no atmosphere, AC was on even thought it was cold out side, i had to asked twice for it to be turned down it was so cold.Music too loud.....its was more like the staff were more important that the gust!
Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The only negatives were the music and the ambiance. It was too loud, like Ibiza house music playing in what is supposed to be a tiny cozy Sicilian restaurant in south ken. They need to rethink the music. The prices are too expensive for the size of the dishes and for normal spaghetti. Just down the road at Buonasera, it’s equally delicious, and lower prices...grazie mille
Nice italian restaurant with good food. Nice atmosphere
Very good service, nice and quiet (it wasn't super full on a Monday) good service and the grilled octopus was outstanding!
Iddu used to be one of our favourite restaurants in the south Ken area and we have been visiting the restaurant since its opening. However since the original owner has moved on, the restaurant risks sliding down into oblivion very quickly. Cheap pasta dishes with lack of character and a very limited choice
Very disappointed. I've been here a few times and I've always loved it. Something had changed though and there is no buzz in the place. Food was OK but unmemorable and it was basically empty.
Sad to say I won't go back.
I booked Iddu for a get together with friends for Sunday lunch. I had checked out the menu online and it looked great. Was a bit disappointed therefore to find that it was only the brunch menu available which restricted the choices available.
The service was very slow despite the fact it wasn't busy when we arrived. The servers were very pleasant though and commented that they weren't sure why food was taking so long to come out of the kitchen.
When the food did eventually arrive it was delicious.
The pasta is really good and they do serve a decent brunch, but service is painfully slow and inattentive.
Friday night dinner with my husband & another couple.
Pros: Not too busy, so was a lovely environment to have conversations. Interesting food options - healthy, fresh, well presented. Good service, polite staff.
Cons: Limited gluten free options for our friend. A little pricey at £90 for 5 dishes (2 were vegetarian, 2 ceviche style on quinoa & 1 chicken; + 2 herbal teas, no other drinks), but apparently reflects it's high quality produce (can't fault that!).
Overall, I'd go back again for an occasion.
We booked a table for 4 people through Open Table at 21:30. When arriving they told us they did not know we were coming and told us that the kitchen was closed. Only coffee or desert were still possible. What a disappointment from both the restaurant and Opentable. When trying to rebook a table at Opentable somewhere closeby an other table at 22:00 at the same restaurant (Iddu) was still available. Even though the kitchen was already closed as I just explained you.
I could not cancel the booking through the application so was not able to booknsomething else.
What an experience...
Iddu is good for a quite bite to eat or a quick breakfast, it is a little snobby, and wildly overpriced, but nice decor and often live Italian music which is authentic and fun
We had a nice lunch, the place wasn't packed but the service was not the best.
I visited Iddu with two friends because we went there last year and enjoyed our evening. This time it was a Saturday night and we were the only people in the restaurant, there was only one selection for a main course, although some starters could be served as a main. The only hot dish was the pasta and it was very poor. My friends had the salmon tartar served as a main and was small. The outside had people sitting at tables but they were must having coffees. The service was friendly but I would not recommend it due to lack of choice of main courses.
Lovely food and wine, beautiful place. The live music on Tuesday night was fun and authentic but far too loud - would have been much better without the microphone as it was impossible to hear each other talk. If we had not been by the window we would have had to leave...
Cute, authentic spot with nice juices and coffees - very loud inside/sound carries a lot. Nice outdoor seating though
Went here for a weekday dinner with a group of six friends. The restaurant decor is lovely, modern and intimate. The food was very good. I had the pistachio pesto pasta, which was quite nutty but I really liked it (a friend of mine had the same and didn't enjoy it as much so I think it's a matter of taste). The service was pretty good I found, not the best but nothing majorly wrong - just quite slow and curt. Overall a nice experience, would recommend for a relaxed dinner with a few drinks!
Delightful atmosphere with live music that wasn't too intrusive! Food was tasty and sufficient, and the charming Italian waitress was most attentive. The Tuna tartare with avocado was fresh and the large was good for two of us to share, and the parmegiana alla melizana was real comfort food. The chicken braciola though flavourful were a little dry. Pricing is strange - main course can be less than a starter, and the wine by the bottle had startling price tags! The wine by the glass was excellent and acceptably priced - but not available by the bottle? Will definitely go back but maybe have a drink at the pub beforehand!
Food is great and ambiance is really nice. Been here a few times once on a date night and a couple of tomes for catching up with friends. It's a great place for both occasions.
A lovely local. Great food, relaxing and warm ambiance and good service.
Very unassuming restaurant within easy distance of the Albert Hall
Great and authentic restaurant we will be back........................................

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."....
Really enjoyed the meal and service, will come back
Trendy Sicilian eatery with a focused menu of regional dishes well cooked and presented. Excellent aubergine parmigiana and amazing home make ice cream. The best I have had in London. One starter shared, two mains, two scoops of ice cream and three glasses of house wine came to £78 including service. The only downside is once it gets full, with it's low ceilings, it can be very noisy
Second time we go there and I really like the food. Very tasty although for what it is (cafe style) the menu is expensive. £35/person for pastas and shared starters and one cannelloni. No drinks. You expect to pay that at a fancy place, even though the food was tasty at Iddu. Service wasn't great, a little slow and our question to the manager was ignored. The place is cozy and maybe nicer at night than day. Not sure I'll go there again but the place is worth trying.
Great place and atmosphere! The food was very good. Unfortunately we had a table right by the cashier which for a dinner was a bit disappointing.
Delicious food in relaxed setting - beautifully presented, imaginative cuisine.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were friendly!
The value for money though was really bad, we had two poached eggs on a plate and it cost 5.50
I will next time go somewhere with better value for money
