IL Bistro Ratings and Reviews
We booked this restaurant for dinner during an overnight stay in Brighton. The welcome was warm and the room was full of atmosphere and chatter. I had the liver and bacon special and my husband had the T-bone steak. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The wine list was good and at reasonable prices. Excellent service from the friendly staff.
My partner and I went here for early Sunday dinner- around 5pm.
It was very quiet, only us and another table so the atmosphere was lacking a little.
However we were made to feel really welcome, it didn't feel awkward at all.
The service was great and food was also really good!
Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone :-)
Visited before a theatre trip and had a table in the window. Chose from the 3 course set menu, was very tasty, well presented and very good value. Service was attentive but not intrusive...ticked all the right boxes for us and would definitely visit again when in Brighton.
I booked this restaurant curious about the restaurants around Brighton. Admittedly it was hard to find the restaurant at first but once we had found it, it turned out it wasnt that hard to find! The restaurant its self had a very homely feeling and we were greeted by friendly staff despite nearly missing our booking. The food was extremely nice and was well worth the price even though it was a bit pricey, i felt that the quality of the food was worth the money and did not regret paying what i did for the bill. If you're looking a nice homely feeling restaurant which quality food this is definitely the restaurant to go to!
Il Bistro has special rooms upstairs that are perfect for private parties. Mike called us in advance to discuss arrangements and to ensure that the elderly people in our group could climb the stairs to the first floor. Really happy that we chose Il Bistro to celebrate our special occasion!
