Since the establishment of our first restaurant in 2003, Imperial Treasure Restaurant Group has won the hearts of gourmands and casual diners alike. Today, the Group has about 24 restaurants under its name, as well as over 50 accolades.

This restaurant was lovely. Our table of 3 was not squeeze into a tiny space which is often the case in some London restaurants. The service was prompt and helpful. The drinks and food were both excellent. Lots of options in both categories. Would recommend

I’d love to go more often but the blinds are kept closed and it seems huge effort is made to blockout any light coming from the outside therefore making it a very gloomy place to sit in. Such a shame

We booked for lunch for 2 and it was absolutely delicious. Next time, very soon, we will make sure to be 4 or even 6 at the table, as several dishes such as Peking Duck or Turbot are to be shared by a larger table. Notwithstanding this, our luch was fabelous and in our opinion one of the finest Chinese tables in the UK.

Food was generally good, but the service left much to be desired. The bus staff was more attentive and polite than our sour faced waitress. She never came to check on us during our meal and didn’t bother to ask how we enjoyed our dinner. Expected more from a ‘Michelin Starred’ establishment. Because of this, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Have you ever felt like you were invisible in a restaurant? Well try Imperial Treasures, If you are not of Asian descent, be prepared to wait for service and food. We arrived and were seated immediately in an area with 5 tables. Only one table was being served. We ordered a Diet Coke and a red wine. The cheapest glass of wine was 33 pounds or about $40 US. It was a Brunello and I did expect it to be pricey. The 5 tables around us filled up fast. And speaking of the table, for a Michelin restaurant not to have a tablecloth is unacceptable. Anyway, back to the service. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. The entrees were very simple beef and broccoli and chicken with cashews. Rice was extra but 30 pounds for a bowl of rice??? That is about $39 US for rice. The tables around us were all seated with Asian customers. The waiters and staff fell all over these tables. They had Peking duck sliced at the tables with several courses while we waited for our entrees. An hour later, after all the other tables had finished their meals, we finally received our 2 simple entrees. The table next to ours, which had been seated about 10 minutes after us, had already finished their Peking duck as well as 2 other courses, paid their bill and left and we were just finishing our entrees. They immediately seated another group of 4 at that table. Then to add insult to injury, when we asked for our check, our waiter thought it more prudent to take the order of that new table of 4 before we got our check. Our waiter served us our food and refilled our water once and that is all the service we received. We truly felt invisible to the entire staff. Awful All in all, for a Michelin restaurant, this was certainly no treasure. I love Chinese food but this was nothing special. We paid $276 US for mediocre overpriced Chinese food and lousy service. It is right next to the Hotel Sofitel where we were staying. Eat at the Wild Honey at the hotel! Excellent!

Great meal, had the Peking duck which was superb as both courses. Alway love the Kunk Po prawns but would say that they could have done with a little more sauce to go with our fried rice. Service was impeccable as usual. All round a great experience.

Delicious food and excellent service. Only minor issue was that we order a Sui Mai dumplings but a gyoza like one was brought to our table and waiter said he heard something different to what we asked for. He didn’t offer to replace with what we actually ordered. This you don’t do at a Michelin starred restaurant

The dim sum dishes were really tasty and high quality. The Crispy rice in shrimp broth was amazingly good. And the portion is quite big, suitable to share for 3-4 people.

I have acquainted Imperial Treasure for quite a few times but I am a little disappointed that the level of food has since declined. I hope the food can be back to the level before and I would be more than happy to visit the restaurant at a later date.

IMPECABLE! Location, the set up, the room, all beautiful. Service really professional with helping to choose the right food and right wine according to our group. I chose the place as my boss was looking for a fantastic Chinese restaurant in London...he was really happy and impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the food served...total success. It is expensive but worth every penny. A bargain for what we experienced.

The roast duck was already sold out by the time we arrived in the bar before being seated at 6:00 pm. They should offer to place the order ahead of time when one checks in. This is noted for Peking duck but not the regular roast duck so we were disappointed. We were surprised the standard roast duck was already sold out by the time we were seated at 6:30 pm. Otherwise, the roast pork belly and tofu was phenomenal.

The pros: We were there for dim sum/lunch. The food is excellent, clean, fresh. The char siu baos were meh. We loved the spicy jellyfish, salted egg yolk okra, crepes, custard bao, Singapore rice noodle. Everything else was great. We came right as they opened and they were able to accommodate us even though we were 20 min early. The cons: The hospitality/service is a little lacking for a Michelin star restaurant. I inquired about having a baby join and the person managing reservations answered that they didn’t recommend children under 5. I asked if we should not come then if children weren’t welcome. (I wasn’t being facetious, I was earnest.) Then they changed their tune to say all were welcome. The staff needed to warm up a bit also when we asked if they had a recommendation on how many dim sum or dishes they would generally recommended. Most restaurants give you a starting point. It’s good but the service takes it from being 1 star to .5 star erring on bib gourmand.

Food was excellent and so was the service. We came late in the day so was quiet inside but that was our fault! Loved the dim sum especially prawn cheung fun, baked snow mountain bun with pork, and steamed charcoal bun with custard for dessert (amazing). The wagyu beef cheung fun was disappointing because there was not much beef. From the main menu the lobster crispy bean curd roll was great and so was Szechuan chicken in clay pot. Will come again to try the signature Peking duck.
