Exquisite food. Would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to try Italian in a fine dining kinda way.

The menu was different from your site, we asked for 8€ small portion manu for taste everything but our waiter said this is not in the menu. Also the floor was not so clean and old looked. But the meals were ok.

Amazing food! Lovely service. We had a great time and it was nice to see the staff in a good mood even in current situation.

It was perfect except one small thing. Only giving half of your restaurant the free limoncello and half of the restaurant nothing is a bit disappointing.

The restaurant is nice. Food is good but before corona crisis it was better. We went here twice since June and the pasta with parmiggiano was not the same as it used to be. We barely tasted parmesan cheese.
They have the best tiramisu. And the service is great.
Overall, we recommend this restaurant.

Perfect diner for two! Excellent pasta, Tine wine and a good ambiance!

We visited the restaurant in the evening. In terms of atmosphere, the light at our corner was way too bright. There was no closet/hook where we could hang our jackets. The pepper and salt mill where plastic and standard from the supermarket. For us the music is part of the experience and unfortunately the music did not match the ambience. We were expecting Italian music and we had pop/techno instead. In terms of food, we ordered a soup for starter. The soup was boiling hot, very, very hard to eat. As main I had the specialty of the house pasta but for me it was too heavy. The combination of the flavors were too strong and too creamy. Furthermore, the portions were also too big. We had higher expectations, so we were a bit disappointed.

Altijd heerlijk eten met vriendelijk personeel. Doen erg hun best!

gorgonzola ravioli was too much cheese, could be with more vegetables, and gorgonzola wasnt much tasty

Food was good as always. Only this time the service way below an acceptable level. Maybe the fact that there were only three tables occupied caused the lack of focus and sharpness.

It started when we asked for oysters and we were brought an ashtray. The level of English (Dutch was not an option either) was very poor. During lunch we didn’t receive much service, for instance we had to go inside to ask for a drink twice. Also the waiter didn’t bother to refill any wine or water during one of the few visits to our table. When having lunch for almost 150 EUR you can expect a bit more in my opinion.

Het eten is subliem. Met name de in een grote Parmezaanse kaas gemaakte pasta met verse truffel. De bediening is wat onrustig en het is erg donker in het restaurant. Jammer want zo zie je nauwelijks wat je eet. Maar voor de rest is het prima!

Heeerlijk gegeten bij Impero met mijn vriend. Goed ontvangen met een bruschetta vooraf en het eten, de sfeer en de wijn was heerlijk! De parmezaanse pasta met truffel was zeker een favoriet, had nog wel iets meer parmezaan op gemogen, maar voor de rest een dikke 9.5!

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious en the staff is super friendly. The restaurant is also very cosy and the wine is very good. The next time when I’m in Amsterdam I will definitely come back!

Was een geweldige avond! Vierde mijn 21ste verjaardag en alles was echt top!
Vriendelijke bediening met veel kennis over de italiaanse wijnen, heerlijk eten en er werd zelfs 2 keer voor mij gezongen!!

Impero Romano is altijd al een favoriet van ons geweest en dat zal ook zeker zo blijven!

I expected a bit more meat for a 25€ plate and the bruschetta was poor. Not fresh tomatoes and bread was not grilled well. Pasta Dish from the wife went back for pasta with cheese and truffels. She had a stomach ache afterwards too heavy on the cheese and truffel.

Voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht geweldig lekker. Wel wat slordigheidjes zoals olijfolie dip en amuse aan onze tafel vergeten,.

Highly recommend paying a visit to this wonderful Italian restaurant. This was my first time dining here and I will definitely come back. The food was delicious, the waiters and waitresses were all extremely nice and helpful.

Good quality and quantity food, good service. This quality is reflected in the price. 100 euro for 2 people. But it's certainly worth it.

We had a lovely, romantic dinner in the outdoor seating area. The service was amazing; the staff is very sweet and helpful. The food was one of the best Italian food we had ever had, ever! We obviously tried their pasta specials and it was definitely worth the visit!! Everything was so well made and tasted so fresh - we really had a great dinner! Thank you!

Onwijs lekker gegeten! Ziet er prachtig uit van binnen en hele goede service. Net alsof je in Italië bent! We komen zeker terug!

Het was erg lekker! Wel was mijn pasta snel koud geworden. Serveerders mogen meer langskomen. We moesten nu steeds zelf iemand roepen.
We waren er in de middag.

We got confused with the English translation of "veal scallops" of the SALTIMBOCCA ALLA ROMANA dish. It's my first time to have SALTIMBOCCA ALLA ROMANA so I thought there are actually scallops (seafood) in it but turned out to be meat only. Then when I asked for clarity to the waiter, he got quite personal and abit defensive. It was on my birthday dinner and was not very nice, however later he was nice to us. I didn't mind it as it's probably a cultural thing and we also tipped at the end because it was a happy day, but the service was poor if I am honest.

Wat een gezellig en lekker restaurant! Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Hun specialiteiten zijn echte aanraders. Bij een volgend bezoek aan Amsterdam gaan we zeker terug!
