The food was amazing, however the only issues were the following:

- The food came extremely quick which is normally a good thing however it meant we didn’t have time to play with the interactive games (if we got told how quick the food takes then we would’ve not ordered so soon!)

- The seating is far too close for my liking, we went for my anniversary and it was slightly ruined due to me practically touching shoulders with somebody else which was frustrating and intrusive.

- Lastly, we ordered the buffet (which was lovely) however, we ordered a lot of dishes at once because that’s what we thought we could do but then got told it’s 3 dishes per one order which would’ve been useful information.

Overall I think better communication would’ve made this experience a lot better

They were out of their specialty roll which is why I came there. I asked if it was a specific ingredient they were out of and if it could be substituted but was told no, it just isn’t available. The bang bang cauliflower and dumplings were both good, however, the sushi we got was bland and the menu didn’t explain what was in it. Paying 17 pounds for a sushi roll with fried fish and lettuce is the most absurd thing. I will not be returning.

We had a really horrible experience there yesterday.

Why did you put two complete strangers right next to us? No space between us. Could hear all the conversations.

Whenever we pressed the call waitress buzzer no one assisted us until this one lady used to check on us time to time.

Food was so over sauced and really not value for money at all.. was so disappointed.

The food arrived so quickly we didn’t even get to play the interactive games. It’s like they wanted us in and out. Food came in 5 minutes.

Noodles were drenched in sauce and clearly microwaved as they were chewy in places. Was horrible..

A really horrible experience . I really do not complain at restaurants but this was a very unpleasant, pricy experience. No one really assisted us etc.

It was supposed to be a nice evening treat for my husband’s 40th birthday and was definitely a bad decision to go there.

Service was excellent, but the food is average for the price paid.
We ate from the bottomless brunch menu, which includes bottomless food and drink, and maybe this impacted the food we had, as there were limited dishes on this menu, which came put almost immediately after being ordered, so felt they were maybe bulk made - the food was just a bit bland and nothing special.
The other downside is there were LOADS of kids, so it was loud. We ate at 5:30pm on a Sunday and we were in the middle of Covent Garden, so I guess hardly surprising, but we'd never been before so was a little bit of a shock to us. The tables are interactive, with gamed etc, so I can see the appeal for children, but not really where you want to eat if you're on a date, so I would definitely bear this in mind.
We paid just under £100 for 2 people, which is more than I'm happy to spend in a restaurant where I can't hear my date over the children.

It took 20 minutes for someone to show us to our table. And then they disappeared and didn’t explain how to use the ordering tools provided. The high chairs requested weren’t ready at the table for when we arrived. We asked for the iPad to be cleared of items in the basket but these were processed and so arrived as the table even though we didn’t want them. Service was charged but the service wasn’t good, it seemed erratic and not personal.

Low quality food and overpriced. Chicken Satay was the worst I have had.
ordered lamb, beef and prawn yakitori, tested one piece each and left the rest.
Sushi portions priced at just under £20 each, much better quality available at M & S and Waitrose.
3 persons, all of similar opinion. Bill £191. Will never visit again.

We’ve been before but it definitely now needs a revamp. The technology is tablet based now and ours was very glitchy. Eventually we either got a new tablet or they restarted the software. Prices seem to have gone up … £7.50 for edamame beans, £4.50 for steamed rice. It’s a lot although the food was definitely tasty. We had a couple of sushi items and the menu specified 8 pieces but we were only given 6. The restaurant itself just looks tired … the bar downstairs (which we had to wait in as our table wasn’t ready) is very shabby. There are only two ladies toilets so always a big queue and the whole place needs a really good clean. It was a shame and more than a bit disappointing.

Pretty disappointed overall with Inamo. I went years ago and remembered it being pretty nice, this time though it didn’t live up to it. Food was average at best. Service was ok but not great. The tables and the projectors haven’t been updated since it opened, feels gimmicky now rather than interesting.

We even waited at the bar for 20 minutes to be served and no one turned up! A whole queue of people wondering if the bar was even open and when I asked was just told to wait for someone. Ended up not getting a drink by the time out table was ready. Overall pretty poor won’t be going back.

Overall the evening and experience was okay.
If you're going to go opt for the bottomless menu as the food is very overpriced for what it is when purchased on the regular menu.
Your whole booking is 90min - 75min to eat and order 15min to settle up and they enforce it with staff handing me the bill mid meal as my 75min had hit.
They don't take into account a busy kitchen and a digital ordering system that leaves you waiting up to 15/20min for food and drinks ( the table beside me waited 35min).
It's a novelty experience however the bar is poor it was unmanned while we where there and this was a Saturday night, the bar is an empty room in the basement packed with chairs it was not a nice environment very much so a standing point to drink your remaining drink and leave. the female toilets at the bar where filthy, there was blood dripped down the front of the toilet basin.
overall the only good thing was the novelty of the tables and the food was tasty,

Food was delivered too quickly meaning not cooked fresh to order, lollipop chicken was flavourless, Panko prawns the same and the main courses were hugely overpriced for what they were, service was minimal and the bar needs a refresh, no menu for cocktails and soulless atmosphere down there.

Arrived early and were told table was not ready and sent downstairs to the bar which was loud and lifeless with no bar staff so no way to get a drink. Once at the table we placed order via the app and used the interactive table. It was fun but the activities are limited and soon our 2 teenagers were bored. Food was ok and overpriced for what we received. I've had better at our local Japanese restaurant. Service is limited as its all done over the app and the staff were not friendly or helpful. All in all glad we went but wont go again or recommend to friends.

Enjoyed our meal however think the whole concept of self ordering etc isn’t really for us. Would consider coming back if I was in the mood. Service was very fast and attentive!

A triumph of concept over quality. The food was average, sushi better, but lamb skewers tough, and much of the food over salted. Interactive table fun, but some basic service let downs, such as no glasses when bringing bottle of water

The receptionist was great but after that wasn’t so great. The food was okay pretty expensive for tapas/ starters but I’ve had better for an Asian fusion restaurant. They showed us how to use the tablet to order food but how to use not the interactive table and how to switch from games or drawing etc. They also rushed us out for our table and shoved the bill on our table and also didn’t have any containers for left over food or they struggled to even find foil. I’m hoping it was just the Saturday rush as I’ve heard that others experiences have had.

You are given exactly one and half hours. As soon as it strikes they give you your bill without you asking for it. Service was a bit slow at the beginning but manager resolved it and was helpful. Food was standard. Nothing much to write home about. There is not much space however theAmbiance was fantastic.

We were really disappointed with the food, the food arrived very quickly and the meat dishes were not very warm looks like it was re-heated. Disappointed with the cost of each dishes. We were looking forward to try following some of the review and images on the website but definitely not really good. I rarely post review unless the food is really poor and unfortunately Inamo food was bad and after spending over £120 for lunch on our first meal out as a family as you can imagine a big let down.

Honest the worst experience I had, we were literally out of the restaurant, one of the staff members was so rude I couldn’t figure out why! Couldn’t even enjoy our time there was we felt constantly watched over as we were being timed. Food didn’t even arrive quickly so we did wait around a bit.

Apart from the service, food was delicious. Really good quality products and the table experience was really good too as it was fun and interactive.

Will I return, most likely not. Just because of the service and being treated like awfully for how much we spent there too!!

Food was amazing however when doing bottomless, the drinks take awhile and wanting swap from alcohol to soft drink apparently there’s an extra charge when beer wine and soft drinks are in deal. I know buisness need to make extra money however not quite fair when you’ve had a rather spicy dish and need to cool the mouth and the waiter wasn’t great either seemed to have an attitude and clearly didn’t enjoy his job. I would recommend the restaurant because the food was amazing but don’t expect much on the service and a wait on drinks, food actually came out before our drinks and there was only 4 tables in at the time and we were a table of two.
