Food was great, service was great.
Nice selection of Peruvian food, well prepared and served. Short drink list and good beer list, but if you should be able to find something on there. It can be on the noisy side depending on where you sit, and when the musical entertainment starts, it's noisy period.
Well worth trying.
It took 2 hours to get the food, manager did not came to the table to apologize, he sent the server instead, when he was asked to show his face
First we need to rave about our server. She was super attentive and offered recommendations and explanations. Started our early happy hour (so not crowded and low noise level)with an excellent pisco sour. Solid collection of craft beers, many local served with a bowl of cancha corn. Enjoyed four apps including fried Inca balls - think arancini with causa (potato) masa instead of rice which were tasty and light, the trio of causa with the beet topped as our favorite, a ceviche mixto with well flavored leche de tigre and tender squid but the fish was a bit tough and finally the steak anticucho with a lovely presentation but not something we’d get again-good chimichurri on the side but too much adobo marinade on the meat and no real grill flavor. If you like things spicy, ask for their salsa - made the chilero at our table sweat! We’ll be back...were too full to sample the dinner or dessert menus on this trip.
We lived in Lima, Peru several years and, while Inca Social features traditional dishes we often had there, none of those we sampled here is comparable to the real thing. Inca Social is a nice enough looking place and the service was friendly and efficient, but the food was mediocre at best.
The place had a fantastic firs class service. The quality is more american-peruvian and the prices are on the high side.
Super! the band playing there was super cool too!!
Loved the food! Service - in a way not so much. They were trying to be efficient (I think) but a drink was taken with no offer of another and an appetizer that we wanted to bring home was wisked off the table as my husband and I were talking. They did provide another to bring home. And the waitress while extremely knowledgeable and personable was MIA most of the time - never coming back to the table, we always had to flag her down. The food: excellent! Ceviche, some balls filled with meat and/or cheese were addictive, especially when you added they hot sauce they brought to the table. We shared the limo saltado - very tender beef, onions mmmmmmm. We will definitely be back!!
I've visited Inca three times now. The brunch was wonderful; an Incan take on Eggs Benedict was delicious. Unfortunately, both of the other dished I've eaten were overcooked--the chicken breast was incredibly dry and the pork sandwich was also dry and so tough is was barely edible. I usually visit on trivia night, so the restaurant is quite busy during this time; maybe food is being cooked at a higher heat because that cooks it faster, just so they can expedite faster. (Shrugs) Either way, I'll visit Inca a few more times, and hope that the dishes improve.
Great spot to catch up with friends and drink some craft beer. Salud!
Overall good...good apps and pleasant service...happy hour offerings - so so for drinks
The food was good, though some dishes were not as good as they had been in the past (perhaps it was the day of the week). There seemed to be only one waiter working, so the service was pretty slow at times. We had a large party but had made a reservation, so were surprised that they were not prepared. The drink selection as always was top notch, and everyone enjoyed most of their food. Not my best experience at this restaurant, but willing to go back and try again.
Service was bad. The waitress didn't look. To ask for the food and check took long time. Terrible.
Went to Inca Social with family and friends for the first time to watch one of the soccer games this past weekend and the atmosphere could not be matched. The energy in the restaurant made for an exciting lunch and everyone enjoyed themselves during the games.
The service and the food did take some time but that is completely understandable seeing the amount of people in the restaurant; it was crazy. My boyfriend and I ordered the lomo and tallarin saltado which were both filling and tasty. The steak was tender and juicy, just as it should be.
Overall, we all liked coming here and will definitely be back again!
Churros were amazing. Great service. Everyone enjoyed their brunch selections. Pricing is on par with nearby locations.
I got there and they said I didn’t have a reservation. It too so long to get my first drink. My friends order food and waited probably an hour to get the food. My friend have to return the plate twice food was not properly cooked. One of my friend’s chilcano was basically pisco and ice. These was during the soccer game. Obviously they are not ready for big crowd.
Mixed feelings about this place. The food I received was quite good, but the people I was with did not enjoy their dishes as much. The empanadas were exceptional. The place has an extensive beer selection. It seems like a good place to come with a crowd to watch a game.
My only quibble is that it is a little loud. Even someone at the bar twenty feet away talking in normal tones sounds loud. Love the Inca balls!
Everything was delicious at Inca Social. I will definitely come here again.
A few things--
The AC was not on or not working. It made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.
It is not really authentic, the Chaufa was fusion, but still good.
The appetizers are small and pricey for what they give you, but really good.
Our entrees were delicious, and decent sized. Chicken chicharron was not authentic chicharron compared to what I had from other Peruvian places, but still good.
Service was great, food is good. I recommend!
Empanadas were fantastic, aroz con pollo was incredible and the teres majores was really good. Churros with Nutella capped the meal off! Thanks Eric and team for a great Father’s Day dinner!
Food is excellent, very modern yet they have kept the original Peruvian recipes maintaining the taste. The service is great, on Father’s Day i think they were super busy and service was a bit slow but other than that we had a great experience.
Great service, I think Darwin. Great food and atmosphere
Drinks were very good , service and food were mediocre and overpriced. The decor was stark.
Service was excellent, food was alright not bad but Of everything I ordered (tequeños, causa sampler, ceviche and aji de gallina) my favorite was just causa sampler and the cocktail passion something , my friend order a beer and he liked it.
I love Peruvian food, this restaurant is as good but not one of my favorites.
Great food. Great atmosphere! But service is extremely slow even when they are not busy. I live in the community where they promote their business and have been a few tines now, they won’t check in my open table reservation, even after I reminded them this visit. They charged extra for unlimited mimosas (only 25 cents. But it’s the principle ) despite having to wait for service and exceeded the 2 hour maximum while they waited on a group of family friends. I want to love this place but customer service is definitely lacking. If you don’t want to go out of business like the last place, you’re going to need to step up your service levels, improve the approach to your clientele and honor the marketing streams you generate.
My husband and I both enjoyed the Inca balls to start, the waiter suggested that we do half cheese and have beef. Both were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the same thing. The Lomo Saltado, which was very good! My only complaint about the dish is the ratios were off. The amount of steak, french fries and veggies were off. I felt as if I had way too many French fries where as my husband had way too many tomatoes. However taste wise the dish was on point!
It was great
Amazing resturant with great service, food, and drinks. We will be back asap (so much great things to try).
We have a wonderful brunch the food was great. They do such a great job making sure the food has such great flavors. Many times you go into restaurants and the food is so bland. I hope they keep it up and if there are any changes it's to make it even better. The drinks are also very delicious. I love that there is such a great variety of beers from local breweries as well.
Many authentic Peruvian dishes to choose from. The chaufa was excellent.
Great food and drink selections in an energetic and cozy environment. Service is wonderful from the friendly staff and management.
I loved this place. The food was outstanding. I loved our server, Allison, and the other services were polite and efficient as well. Price was quite reasonable, too. I live in Charlotte, MC, and was here for a weekend to visit my hometown. I’m also half Peruvian so I can vouch for the authenticity of the food. I’ll be back
Chicha rum drinks are the best. I tried the chorizo burger and it’s now my favorite
Wonderful experience, would certainly recommend. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all exceptional.
My Fiancee is Peruvian and I have been to Peru numerous times . I ordered Tacu -Tacu which was excellent . My fiancée enjoyed her meal as well . The owner came to our table and introduced himself and bought us and order of Ceviche which was excellent . Ceviche is a big thing with my Fiancee's family . they get together and make it all the time and critic each other on it . She loved this ceviche . Inca Social gets an A+ in our book .
Food and drink were awesome. I normally like the standard beer. I had “tried” 5 beers and thoroughly enjoyed everyone. They weren’t your standard beers; they have a variety of IPA’s and sour beers I normally wouldnt have. The quality and quantity of food absolutely blew me away as well.
Filipe was absolutely amazing. He is a stud. Every table was detailed and made a seemless transition for every customer. I highly recommend this establishment. Well done Inca Social!
If you have tried the authentic Peruvian food you will be disappointed: 1) the "pisco sour" was watered down and tasteless. 2) The ceviche was not good either. Fish was overcooked, sweet potato came from a can.
The lomo saltado and pork chicharron were okay. The hot sauces, the flan and service were good. They have a good selection of beer.
Food was very tasty and had a great local beer list, but they need to work out their service issues. Extremely slow to get an order in and get out drinks & food.
Best food ever!! Great Service Manager and servers make us to feel very special..
Try INCA Balls and Ceviche!
