Service was very uneven, but food was excellent.
Nice but should not be called Indian food.
The entire staff from greeter to server to manager to owner were amazingly friendly and attentive to our needs. My wife, brother-in-law and I all agreed the quality of the dishes we tried was exceptional. We could find no faults.
This was our first time at Indian Accent and it was delicious! The food was very innovative and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be going back.
Superb food and great service
Beetroot chops and the lamb chops were amazing!
Service was quite rushed and eager to clear the table.
Definitely a restaurant to try if you like Indian food. Absolutely outstanding food at all 3 of their restaurants. Pricey but worth it in my opinion. Dinner was 175 GBP for 2 people with no drinks.
Unfortunately the hostess at this restaurant has no manners and spoiled our experience at the beginning of the evening because we were late for the table. The rest of the team there did a great job though, and made up for the hostess' rudeness and obnoxious behaviour. She is the broken link in this restaurants chain of success and will really hurt the business in the long term. Once she is trained on the basics of hospitality at a 5 star restaurant, I will be able to give the restaurant a full 5 star review.
An extraordinary and wonderful work-out for your taste buds. If this isn't the best Indian food in London right now, I'd be amazed. Every dish has such distinct flavours, harmonised but pure, and with such lightness of touch. For the record, I ate beetroot chop, peanut butter, goat cheese raita, followed by baked halibut (divine!), kerala moilee and finished with black carrot halwa crumble and salted pistachio ice cream. My bread was the richly truffled wild mushroom kulcha. Service was impeccable with patient explanations. I'm not a huge fan of the slightly hotel lobby feel to the room, but the tables are roomy, which is important for the many dishes that make up the feast you are sure to have.
It was our wedding anniversary
Food is very rich. I would recommend the lunchtime deal as a way of trying it
Not as good on New year's Eve as the previous visit but still one of the best Indian places in central London. Service was poor on this occasion but I imagine that was to do with temp staff? Generous portions and good quality tasting menu.
Absolutely out of this world !!! Best Indian in a long long time ! Highly recommended!
Incredible food and outstanding service from staff who were very informative
Phenomenal food, great ambience and fantastic service
My cousin and I were up in London to see the Christmas lights and do some shopping. I have been to the NYC sister restaurant and told my cousin, we had to have lunch at the London restaurant. My cousin and I loved our meal. Everything was brilliant, the food and the service.
We had a wonderful evening ! The tasting menu was delicious and we pushed the boat out and did the wine pairing. Expensive but a nice treat.
Perhaps I had my expectations too high given all the hype. Firstly the cuisine is indian inspired and not indian. Secondly the portions are small and in many cases a random dusting of Indian spices in different types of meat. The wine pairing was very good. Service is prompt and attentive. The setting is okay but bathrooms were not the cleanest.
Overall it was an unimpressive experience.
Our favourite London restaurant. The food is unique and delicious. The atmosphere sleek, expensive, comfortable. It will take you on a wonderful journey through tastes and textures you haven't tried before. The tasting menu is a must and the cocktails compliment the menu. I do wish the waiters were a little bit more friendly but apart from that, it is a wonderful experience.
Best Indian food in London
The best and most original Indian cuisine.
Starters and main courses were excellent. Puddings were a bit weird. Good wine, good service - very pleasant evening.
The sharing style approach for the £70 per head classic menu was bewildering for a group of 10. I was still hungry, and splitting some of the dishes was not straightforward. To be told afterwards that we could have had an extra plate of each dish to ensure we all had a sensible-sized portion was just rubbing salt into the wound.
Ridiculously good value!
Great food, nice ambience. Continues to impress me. one of the top 5 indian restaurants for me in London these days! Would recommend any day
Great food but downstairs is not very lively
Fantastic vegetarian and vegan tasting menu. Excellent service, flavoursome and delicious food, great ambience!
Fantastic venue, atmosphere and most importantly, delicious food presented in an immaculate manner.
The food was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The service was amazing. I could not recommend them more.
Visiting London to celebrate one year anniversary with my wife. One of the best evenings of our trip was at Indian Accent. From the moment we walked in staff and team were gracious courteous and professional. Waiter walked us through the menu with great care and guided us toward some amazing selections. We chose several starters and a couple of mains to create what might be one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely don’t miss the Ghee Roast Lamb!!!
I went to Indian Accent with two friends for a small celebration dinner. The food and service were spectacular. The beetroot chop with peanut butter was surprising and delicious, as was the tofu and shishito pepper starter. The slow cooked lamb pulao and saag paneer kulcha were also quite memorable. The space is beautiful and would also make a romantic spot for a special night out.
Had a lovely evening at Indian Accent, anything and everything we ordered was delicious! Will definitely be back soon :)
Food excellent as always, but service still patchy. Brought the wrong drinks, then took 25 mins to replace them with the correct drinks. Good job we checked the bill as both the correct drinks AND the wrong drinks had been charged to us!
The portions were painfully small despite being tasty. Would suit someone with a small appetite or for a quick lunch.
To satisfy a hungry appetite extra dishes would need to be ordered.
The selection of french wines was poor and expensive .
At other restaurants I have had lovely Burgundy wines for less than at Indian Accent.
Today’s experience was in stark contrast to my initial visit in February 2018. Back then I left impressed and vowed to return some day. Fast forward 20 months and they have failed to maintain their initial standard, let alone build on a good start.
Service was particularly ordinary. Staff were not at tentative and lacked finesse.
The competition is stiff and clientele can differentiate between good and bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes down. Or it could endure and become another Benares...
