Amazing! Highly recommend! Would go back to London just to eat her
A fantastic night without having to worry about. My wife’s Gluten intolerance
As my partner is coealiac. it's so reassuring to be able to eat at a place with such an excellent standard of food that we absolutely know she can have everything she'd like.
This is the 2nd time we've eaten at Indigo, and as we were celebrating our engagement earlier that evening, went all out with the tasting menu. The staff are all so attentive, polite and knowledgeable, and the food was every bit as good as we expected.
Admittedly drinks in the bar are on the pricey side, but still of the best quality and the service is exceptional. For a special occasion, or to treat yourself, it really is fantastic!
We were celebrating my birthday. This is the second time eating at this restaurant and the food was just as delicious as the last time we visited. My only slight gripe was that the service wasn’t as warm and attentive as our previous visit. I have a few intolerances and a degree of patience and understanding is really appreciated.
Everything about Indigo is magnificent. Highly recommend.
An excellent restaurant for a pre-theatre supper; well located, super-efficient service and really good set menu all delivered in an hour.
Swift service as requested for a pre-theatre dinner. Good food. Nice portions. Pig's cheek and bass particularly good and the take on creme rule inventive.
Outstanding food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Looking forward to next visit!
Lovely service, very pro.
Tasty food even with the spécial offer. And the crème brûlée déstructurée was to die for.
The hotel is gorgeous and well located.
Firstly this restaurant is totally gluten and dairy free so an absolute dream as I’m coeliac. We went for the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing and overall it was extremely good and the staff were very attentive. Some food was slightly under seasoned but still very tasty. We did feel rushed as we hadn’t finished each wine before the next paired dish came and another glass was poured. Our cocktail aperitif also came after we’d already started the first course. The English white wine particularly is outstanding and my partner was also brought a cake to celebrate his birthday.
On this occasion the experience was very poor, staff was not doing a good job, almost non existing service with food coming sooner than drinks, some guests finished their drinks when some of the guests haven't even got theirs. Despite stuff just walking around pretending to be busy. At one point we had to wait 25 minutes for a glass of wine and staff member who obviously forgot acted like nothing happened. Always liked this restaurant and it was our 4th time there, but after yesterday's experience probably will not be coming back.
The entire menu is GF and DF and tastes phenomenal. We went for dinner and tea. Service was wonderful and friendly. Will definitely recommend and be back next trip.
Incredible food. Everyone working in the hotel/restaurant gave friendly greetings. Our waitress was incredible. Recommend to everyone !!!
The best fish & chips I have had for a while. Not cheap but worth it, we will go back!
Pre theatre dinner was delicious, outstanding service & very timely
Staff were helpful and attentive. Food and cocktails excellent. Would definitely return.
Really lovely food and excellent service! Would definitely come back! Photos don’t do it justice!
Disappointed with our meal. Beef was chewy and sent back; replacement was no different and I did not eat it. Although staff apologised and knocked the cost of the main course off the bill, it left us very disappointed, especially as we had still spent over £100 for our evening meal out. Such a pity as my wife's meal was very good and the whole menu was gluten free. One final grumble - £5.50 for a bottle of still water is well over the top. In comparison, we had two further evening meals a few hundred metres away that were half the price and twice the value.
A wonderful place for coeliacs and also their non coeliac family and friends. The food is delicious and the staff are attentive and charming. The atmosphere is friendly and non- stuffy and the level of efficiency is high. Highly recommended. A memorable experience.
Amazing food and service. I’ll definitely visit this restaurant again.
We had the summer taster menu and it was truly fantastic - each course had subtle yet deep flavours and perfectly balanced seasoning.
I particularly liked the blackcurrent sorbet, it was simply divine!
The cocktail and selected wines really complimented the dishes, and all were really great wines.
The staff were great - friendly, very knowledgeable and excellent at making the experience more than just a meal.
Really good experience and the staff were excellent!
The afternoon tea is not great as there are much more sweets than savory options. And the service was a bit long too. So overall a bit pricey for what it was.
The quality of the food is amazing at Indigo, you would not know it was gluten and dairy free - just delicious and the service is great too.
The service was great and the food delicious, but the 30 minute wait between each course of the tasting menu made for a rather slow and long night. We did the wine match and often had finished our wine before our food had arrived.
We really enjoyed the tasting menu at Indigo. The portion size was perfect. The wine pairings weren't so exciting that we wanted to buy a bottle of everything but all were drinkable and good pairs. There was not a wine glass for all the plates, and so it was not an overwhelming amount. Would highly recommend this tasty dinner and the tasting menu for a good night out.
Had a truly amazing meal at Indigo. Such a pleasant experience to be able to order anything off the menu without having to ask about allergens etc. Food was incredible, amazing service and a lovely extra dessert to wish us a happy anniversary. Such a nice touch. I’ll definitely be back….
Fantastic Sunday roast and lovely restaurant, will definitely be returning
The attraction for us was the dairy and gluten free menu. There is no compromise on quality and taste to achieve this which coupled with the excellent service made it somewhere we will return to.
Fantastic food, staff polite and friendly
Will definitely return
Excellent but pricey!!
Fantastic food and service - Perfect for daily and gluten intolerance!
Excellent food matched by friendly and efficient service - overall a great experience
Service was good, but extremely poor value for money, especially for vegetarians . The portions are insulting and you have no choice but to choose one main. Too much focus was on the presentation of the food, which was a nice touch, but the portions were ridiculous. A beetroot salad had a sliver of beetroot with very powerful crackers that were too strong for a reasonable palate. The only choice for the main was a courgette and bits of vegetables, extremely unsatisfactory. The service was very good, and the staff were knowledgeable in respect of celebrations which was a nice touch and appreciated.
However the owners perhaps may wish to revisit the standards of the place.
Overall, staff was good, food was shockingly bad for a vegetarian. The quality of food, choice and value for money has declined tremendously and we certainly would not be going back.
Food was absolutely delicious on the tasting menu, definitely worth going for a special occasion, staff were friendly and so attentive and couldn't fault it, only issue was the speed the food came out was very slow but they rectified that when we explained we had a show to see
Went for Sunday lunch. Fantastic food, and brilliant, attentive service for the staff.
Had a wonderful night at Indigo food was superb. Would highly recommend
Great experience, food is really nice, we feel there should have been more on the à la cart menu. We also wasn’t allowed to order the tasting menu and the à la carte menu together as a couple it either had to be one or another, Which was one negative but other than that the food was amazing.
The experience was elegant and upmarket. The service was educated and friendly. The food was elegant, upmarket, educated and friendly. And all at a very reasonable price. Win win.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere! We will be attending again!
