The Irish Embassy serves patrons with an authentic pub experience with each and every experience. Order up the fish and chips, and you will feel as if you are right in the middle of Dublin. Couple that with a Guinness and the transformation is complete at the Irish Embassy.
This is a great place to meet after work for a few drinks. In addition to the traditional Irish drinks readily available, the full bar will whip up your favorite cocktail on demand. The famous bangers and mash can be had here as well, so whatever your taste for food might be, you will find plenty of options at Irish Embassy.
Friendly and professional staff. Good service, excellent food. Handy location.
From the warm greeting at the FOH; to immediate seating; to patiently waiting for that first Pint;
it was all good.
Great Food and Service and the "Best Pint of Guinness" west of Dublin and the finest selection of
Limited Menu, but the food is superb.
Very pleasantly surprised. Not normally a "pub food" fan but it was excellent. They were even able to make me my favourite cocktail. Waitress was terrific as well. I will definitely be back!
Service was fast and friendly. The food was very good. But the Irish Embassy did not have that pub feel more like a cafeteria and super loud.
Plus side: We enjoyed our Cobb salad and fish and chips. Service was fast. Cost fair.
Negative side: The dining room was very noisy and tables packed close togather.
Fabulous restaurant. Great food and efficient, friendly staff. Lots of options to choose from at the bar as well.
Always come here as it has the best Irish Stew ever. And since moving from Ireland three years ago when I want a taste of home I am straight to the Embassy!
Lovely staff, always treat us so well. Great value
It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Staff we great and would return forsure. Thank you
Second visit to Irish Embassy to enjoy some food before a concert. Can't wait to go back. The service was fast and friendly (always a bonus when your server has an Irish accent) and the food was DELICIOUS!!
Wonderful meal and our bartender/server, although very busy, was still attentive.
Went there for lunch with colleagues. Service was great, but it was too loud. Food was ok. Really good coleslaw.
It was finally nice to see The Irish Embassy join the Open Table Community
and I expect will now draw from an even larger group of locals and visitors.
Over the past decade, we have been frequenting this Venue in addition to P.J. O'Brien's (On Colborne Lane) and others in the Quinn Group.
The entire Menu is fairly short and as a result, the food tends to be excellent.
From the Appetizers like, the Smoked Salmon Plate and the Crab & Rock Shrimp Cakes
to the 'Signature Dishes' like, Kilkenny Fish and Chips;
it's all good.
A special thankyou to Allison (Our Server) who certainly went the extra mile to make this visit very
Was a great way to kick start our Trip to Ireland.
Very lovely Irish pub only complaint the domestic beer was off taste .I work in the industry and know when beer is bad and lines need to be cleaned .shouldn't serve a beer that is supposed to be clear and they were all very foggy and off taste .went to an ipa was fine .thank you
Great location for a casual business lunch. Good menu including specials, well themed to create a welcome escape in the core of downtown. Friendly staff.
Would recommend but would have to mention the high noise level this was the only real issue
Good beer selection. I’m sick of all craft beer joints. You can get a proper pint here. Food was good. Pub grub plus. Place feels right. A little expensive but many in that area are
Good quality food , good staff and nice atmosphere.
Enjoyed lunch at the Irish Embassy. Had a reservation so got a convenient spot away from the door (it was chilly out).
Service was pretty good and we both ordered the kale and goat cheese salad. The salad was good (it was baby kale) and it had a nice crunch with the pecans and the pomegranate arils. I did think the dressing was a tad sweet but overall, a decent and filling salad.
We got a great table and service was amazing. Even on St Patrick’s Day Saturday, it wasn’t too crazy but still fun!
It was a group of coworkers coming together for an annual celebration. Food is delicious. Service is outstanding. We go fairly regularly.
Great location, good lunchtime food options, friendly professional service, nice atmosphere.
Food was great!! It seems this is my go to restaurant in the city when we're there for a concert or game! Close to the venue's and Union. Great atmosphere!! Its very busy so I recommend reservations, especially on game or concert nights.
The restaurant was understaffed and overbooked. We didn’t even get our food.
New cook that night apparently. Didn't get our food before we had to leave.
I am not sure what happened and was never given an explanation. Our party of six waited 2.5 hours and ended up with no meals. We kept being told our meals would arrive shortly, the kitchen was just busy. Finally, we had to leave to make it to our show. Unfortunately, we never got any food and we were all starving and ended up eating something at the ACC. Very disappointed. I have experienced a busy kitchen before i get it, but to have no food delivered after that long a wait! They did comp our drink tab which was a nice gesture but I went away very hungry that night. Too bad, the place is cool but, that was a blunder on their part!
Took some time to take our order but the food and drinks were tasty and I’ve been here enough times that it’s always a solid choice for business lunches or drinks after work.
Great food and great location for dinner and beer before a Leaf game.
The tables are a little tightly packed, but the service is outstanding. We really enjoyed our Irish comfort food and I was over the moon that they offered my favourite, yet rare “Black velvet” on the drink menu! We will be back
everything worked out great but the noise level was high
got there at 6pm and the 5pm Sunday roast was not available...sold out....disappointing
Service was speedy, food came hot and fresh. Overall pleased
Sunday night dinner with our grown children. Wonderful atmosphere!! GREAT service. Speedy service. Lots of staff. Well stocked bar. Great live music! Sunday night comfort food!! Brisket, mashed potatoes, broccoli, huge Yorkshire pudding and the most delicious gravy!! Son had the homemade burger and homemade fries!! Really good! Wonderful evening.
Went to hear our friend's band, asked for a table close to the band and we were right up close!! Fantastic night!!
Fun pre game get together among old friends.
Excellent pub food. Good fries and nachos. The Irish stew was excellent. The food was brought promptly and at the right temperature. The staff checked in with us at the right frequency to see that our dining experience was to our liking.
Great place to go before the Leafs game. Food and service were great. It was a bit noisy though.
Great Irish Whiskey Selection and great food
Good value, great atmosphere and appropriate sound level. We often come before a Leaf game.
We went before a Leaf game. The burger was fantastic!
Salad with chicken was disgusting. Like the chicken was cooked a few days ago. 2 other people who ordered it said the same thing. Waitress wasnt very friendly and not accommodating.
