About
The restaurant in the lower chamber serves gourmet dining in a relaxed ambience; it’s a British menu made of small sharing plates such as mini shepherd’s pies and oysters. There are classics as well as new creations perfectly designed to enjoy with one of our cocktails.

Food was interesting and service very friendly. The counter seats are too close to the table though so you are constantly being pushed past! Could do with a rejig to make it more comfortable for all.
Great dinner with quality ingredients and attention of details by the chef's. However the attention of staff to the dinners and music selection could be improved to make it a 5*. Staff is Friendly and food is tasty.
Great cocktails and super friendly bar staff. I really enjoyed the explanation of how the cocktails have been twisted slightly from the classic recipe. I found the service (food) somewhat slow and incorrect description of food portions on menu (one sausage provided instead of two). This was rectified once it was brought to their attention.
Food was very tasty and very appealing to the eye. We were welcomed by the owner who gave us a great service at the beginning of our diner and good recommendation for wine.
Service was excellent Spanish waitress was fantastic
We often come to London to meet friends well we picked the wrong place this time. The service was terrible waitress was friendly but did not know English very well. She got lots wrong . One of our guests had an allergy to onions and tomatoes and she was told 4 or 5 times and she still brought a dish with tomatoes. We were told the steak was raw so only 2 of the group ordered it it came and looked good so we were all disappointed that we did not order it as the rest of the food was terrible.
A cold noisy atmosphere they are trying very hard to be different and hip it did not work far too expensive.
Won’t be back and won’t recommend total rip off.
The experience at Iron Bloom was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was great, however portions were on the small side for the price point. Otherwise everything was great
Service was awful except for one girl who was working there she was lovely, the bartender/waiter was rude and kept forgetting our order. Tables in the booth was so uncomfy the table was FAR too low for the chair so you were rammed in and had to crouch over your food. Food was okay but there’s many restaurants in London with okay food - absolutely no reason for anyone to go here
4 of us went for dinner tonight and were thoroughly underwhelmed. I'm generally more than happy to spend decent money on a good meal, but the experience we had did not warrant the amount on the final bill.
Firstly, the menu recommended 3 main dishes per person, and it's just as well we ordered fewer as we would have had far too much food. And it could have been worse as the food itself was incredibly over-priced and average. Also, the toilets weren't clean (which was odd as we were one of only 2 tables being served for the 2 hours we were there).
The highlight came when we ordered the wagyu beef burger, which came with bacon on it despite this not being listed on the menu. One of our party doesn't eat bacon, and so we asked if we could get a fresh one without bacon, but were told we'd be charged for the 2nd burger. When we said this didnt seem right, our waitress went to check and returned with the same answer. It was only once we asked to speak to the manager that they agreed to bring a new burger without the bacon (and I presume they threw away the original one).
There are plenty of other places to eat in Shoreditch at this price that are far superior, so don't waste your time
We had a really great evening. Loved the food. We ordered lots of small plates. The food was delicious. Lots of different flavours. We did think some of the meals were very pricey, especially the tuna dish which was tiny for £15 ! We also couldn’t understand why there was a DJ ?! it made it very difficult to hear each other.
Do not recommend, we left this place still hungry and having spent nearly 40£ per person. We ordered some sharing plates which were all tiny and expensive, especially the salmon tartare (12£) which was embarrassing minuscule. The staff kept trying to clear our plates even though we hadn’t finished.
Very lovely staff and trendy venue. However, the food was a bit disappointing , the menu was confusing and quite pricey.
Iron Bloom started off well - great cocktails and an interesting menu. We probably went too far and ordered dessert which was disappointing. This place definitely has an air of wanting to succeed, great team of staff eager to please.
Outstanding service and wagyu burgers are to die for!
Absolutely worth the money among so much over-hyped Shoreditch venues
Great food, friendly and lovely staff. Would love to visit again.
Wonderful food, attentive and friendly service. I love the decor too. A sympathetic conversion that respects the building’s industrial past. Funky atmosphere and a great menu.
Top service & foods
Wonderful restaurant. Funky atmosphere. Excellent food. The best of Shoreditch!
Excellent service and great ambience. Had a “cafe del mar” vibe, in the middle of Shoreditch.
Food is really good but the seating is really uncomfortable (please consider getting higher tables for the booths) and the music was unnecessarily loud.
Fantastic and fabulous on all dimensions. Cool london at its elegant best
The food at Iron Bloom was very good - particularly the burger and the mac & cheese. We went as a group of 6 girls - but I found the portions to be very small and not properly sized for sharing (despite the menu recommending it). As a result, you need to order many many dishes which gets expensive.
The service and drinks, however, were excellent! Would recommend for a friend's night out or snacks & drinks.
Great Food, really delicious. If you are a group of four or more ask not to be seated on the benches as these face the wall and it becomes hard to talk as a group. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The live DJ was a nice touch too.
Fantastic food, atmosphere and great cocktails. Have been here multiple times now and the ingeniousness of the creations at such affordable prices is insane for London. The menu changes regularly so have never gotten bored of the food. Absolutely love the wagyu burger and truffle fries and also good for nibbles with drinks at the end of a night out.
Had brunch here with a friend on their opening weekend so was a little quiet. The food was really good, though could have been a bigger portion. Think it will have a nice vibe when a little more full
Creative cuisine in a modern ambience. An authentic surprise!
Only been open two weeks and feel that there are some tweaks needed before this place gets a two thumbs up.
On the plus side, the food was excellent and at a reasonable price for the quality. The lobster donut wasn't to my taste but everything else was really good.
However, it was let down by:
1) having some of the drinks on the menu (maybe forgivable for a new place?) and
2) the seating was not fit for purpose! most of the seats were at the same height or only a few cm lower than the table! We had to move seats, and even the new seats were quite uncomfortable.
A shame as the food was so good!
Excellent meal here again - love the small plates, just enough to share as starters or as sides to the larger plates for a main course. Very tasty, authentic British with a eccentric and creative accents. Beautifully designed building in the heart of Shoreditch. Great cocktails as always and exceptional value for money. Would put this more in the category of affordable fine dining.
Absolutely amazing experience. The food is definitely different to what is being offered elsewhere in Shoreditch! Amazing ambience!
Amazing food, want to go back for brunch too!!
This restaurant is amazing! Incredible food and decor. Best restaurant in Shoreditch!
