Food was great and so was the service. Definitely great for date night.
Came here for a team dinner. The service was excellent and there was a wide variety of food to pick from. The nachos and hummus were good starters. Tuna, salmon salad and teriyaki chicken were yummy entrees. The falafel burger missed the mark, not crispy enough. Location and service are great.
We have always liked iron hill but this was not a good night. The Ruben sandwich had one small piece of corned beef and the rest was sauerkraut. For 14.00, that was obscene. The waiter was not attentive. I am not sure what’s going on but I would stay away for a while until something gets corrected. 80.00 for 3 sandwiches and 2 beers is a bit harsh
The crab cakes we're all filling, little meat. The schnitzel was fatty and greasy. However, the manager (Chris) was gracious and he Gave us some compensation. We would go back and chose another dish.
Not a good spot for GF. It used to be good for GF but not any more. My husband's regular meal was fine. The humus that was GF, the only item on the appetizer menu was delicious but they only brought celery with it. Choices very limited for GF and not well handled.
Great food, service, ambiance.
You couldn’t even talk to the people at the table, it was so loud. Unless they fix the noise issue I will not go back there again.
Food good but really still too noisy and difficult to talk. High tops were not comfortable. Great beer though. Miss the cozy dining room. We’ll be back.....
Great food great service every time I visit Took wife and a friend with from out of town and they fell in love with it like I did
Beautiful evening outside! Great dinner ! Our server was very positive and attentive.
Brian the waiter is your best. Not only is your brew bad to the bone and your food the finest. Brian makes us feel loved every time!
The quality of the food has declined significantly. The cheese steak egg rolls were smaller, there was little onion in the French onion soup. The soup had croton pieces instead of proper crouton appropriate to the soup. Instead of a layer of cheese baked on the top, there was a blob of cheese sunken into the soup. The ambience has declined with a rough bare concrete floor replacing the tile or carpet that used to be in place.
There were 6 of us and we were all related. We have been to your establishment in the past enjoyed it.
My critique, which affected my response regarding service, was that there were not any condiments on the table---not even salt and pepper. We had to ask for everything each time, which had the server running and slowed down the service as we waited for items that should have been on the table for us to use as soon as our food was served. The other service critique was about my drink in particular. All drinks came to the table without cocktail napkins. Since I had a mixed and shaken drink, it came to the table all wet and sticky from the contents of the drink on the outside of the glass. It should have been cleaned up by the bartender. What made it more intolerable was that there was not a paper cocktail napkin to use and no napkin for it to sit on to absorb the sweat from the glass. This, again, meant that the server had to make another trip to fix this issue. Not to mention that by this point my hands were all sticky. (The drink was well made by the way, so that was not at issue. ) These are all unnecessary steps which make it more difficult for the servers to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. They also frustrate the patron who has to wait and make multiple requests instead of enjoying their meal and their conversation. For example, I had eaten half of my soup (which was very good by the way) before I was able to get pepper---which was brought by itself oddly enough. One sole little pepper shaker on our table without its mate, the salt. Thank goodness no one at our table wanted any salt. Or, if they did, it wasn't worth the struggle or wait time.
The hostess greeted us with a smile and welcomed us. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about all menu items. I ordered the Drunk Monk Burger and it was outstanding. Prepared just as I asked and tasted great! My wife had the OMG BLT and was equally impressed. We sat outside on the upstairs deck and it was a great experience.
We always have a great time at Iron Hill
King of the Hill events are always great at any Iron Hill Brewery location.
This time the offered a special Oysters and Citrus Cerveza tasting that was on the spot. This was our fist time seated on the second floor deck since the recent refresh - and it was wonderful.
High marks for kitchen staff, brewery staff (the wonderful Moriah Guise) and management for delivering on another wonderful event.
Talked with friends for 2 1/2 hours very nice to sit enjoy good food.
Iron Hill is always a solid choice, good food and beer.
Food was good service was great however it is a bit loud
Getting seated was slow, even with a reservation.
I had Crab cakes & White sangria, which were both very tasty.
Service was good, but getting checks straightened out, with a party of 8, took 30-45 minutes.
Kaitlyn was fabulous and her expert service and the food were excellent. Highly recommend.
The quality of the food is steadily going downhill.
The food was poor quality. Over priced. You can tell the fish we had was grocery store frozen brand. Very greasy and some of it cold. Very very disappointed.
Fast friendly service. Good food. Nice decor.
Great, friendly service. Perfect timing for food being served. Sat outside. Just lovely!
They are very consistent - always great food and service.
Food was very good. We appreciated the pairing suggestions in the menu with entrees and beer choices. The noise level was a bit high, but we’ve come to expect that at iron hill brewery. Overall, a nice dining experience.
The staff was amazing and made us feel special for my daughters wedding celebration. Best food in the area👍😊
Need to update the kids menu. We need more kid creative puzzles and coloring pieces.
I really enjoyed the food and the quick and attentive service
I am a big fan of Iron Hill and we usually have great meals there. Last night, was an exception. One of our daughters meals did not come out with the rest of the our meals. so while we were waiting for her meal, my other daughter offered to share her chicken fingers with her. So I cut through the chicken fingers, and noticed it was raw in the middle. The wait staff promptly informed the cook and a manager came over to apologize. I get that these things happened, but I was taken back that they did not comp our child's meal (who did not really even want to eat the second chicken fingers because of her experience). Hopefully this is not the start of a downward trend for them. the rest of our meals were tasty as usual. Based upon my past interactions with IH, I would have expected more of an accommodations
Lunch with family was excellent
Rachel is the best!
We were celebrating a birthday - dinner was very good, service excellent. Nachos seemed a bit bland but the rest of the meal was good. Drinks good and had a surprised birthday dessert served. A little noisy but most places now a days are with the high open ceilings and wooden floors. Did not feel rushed and enjoyed ourselves. Yes, would go back.
We have always enjoyed going to Iron Hill. The food is very good, the service is friendly and professional and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Iron Hill to everyone.
The overall experience was fine. The fish and wedge fries meal was the main point of my dissatisfaction. The portion of the fish was displeasing. The fish preparation wasn’t the greatest. It seemed like the the tail end of the fish is what was fried not the meatier section. The meal was just okay and for the total bill to come to 50.00, wasn’t too happy with what I got for my portion of the bill. Otherwise, I’d come back, but i wouldn't suggest the battered fish and fries meal. The portion was like a kids meal and the expectation was for you to get filled off of the fries.
Great outdoor area. The food was good but thought the prices were high for the amount you actually received.
I brought 4 friends who wer visiting from out of town. They loved the ribs, burger and fish&chips. Overall a fun evening with friends. Oh and the waiter was great.
I would recommend it mostly for the atmosphere. We were disappointed in their lack of beer at this most recent visit to Wilmington. They were out of our first 4 selections at 6 pm on a Saturday! We visit many Iron Hills and by far think West Chester is one of the best.
