Coming from the NYC and the Global restaurant scene, Island Creek is always consistent in quality, fresh, upbeat, restaurant experience. We've been back a few times on our visits to Boston. Of course, we'll be back again!!!
Great food and great staff
As usual, everything about Island Creek was perfect, from the service to the ambiance to the meal and drinks. We are huge fans and can't go too long without your delicious oysters without going into withdrawal!
Food is incredible. Large selection of oysters and other raw bar. Plenty of choices for entrees whether or not you want seafood. The squid ink pasta was especially delicious!
Very slow, poor service. Waitress went mia for 15 minutes. Food extremely mediocre. $35.00 lobster roll was lobster salad in heavy mayo. Not much lobster for the money. Hamburger was supposed to be medium well was charred. Husband like the fried clams
Amazing place. Highly recommend. But they served my main before I finished my oysters. A part from that mistake everything was great, specially the service
Brooke was outstanding!
Our favorite restaurant! Fantastic meal again last night.
Wonderful food and service. The biscuit was out of this world.
We had a great meal!
Everything was great but very dark in the dining area.
Five stars for The Biscuit alone, but the oyster bar itself is top notch. Beautiful selection, great suggestions from the wait staff, perfect shucking. A little on the energetic end of the noise spectrum, but the food on the plates in front of you makes you forget the buzz.
This restaurant is one of our favorite places in the city! The food is absolutely first rate, the service is wonderful, friendly and efficient. It has become our go-to place for celebrating! Thank you for another memorable dinner. Yum!
Delicious and fresh!!!
Nicely, done, Island Creek.
We had a great time! Wonderful place! Great service! Great food!
Island Creek is Over priced and over rated. Service at the bar was average. Had raw bar oysters ICO and wellfleets - good but no different than if they were $1 oysters. 3.50+ was ridiculous. Paying for the name of restaurant - nothing else.
We had lobster rolls that were delicious. The desert that had perfiteroles were delicious also. Just wish there were a little more lobster and less roll on the lobster rolls. Otherwise it was very good
And as always, outstanding food!!
Love it every time we go.
Amazing experience as usual at Island Creek. Hands down my favorite dining spot for oysters and QT with my Love. Always excellent service and fresh, delectable fare. Highly recommend.
Never fails. Always outstanding.
In town for medical apt and decided to have dinner after. Oysters were fresh and delicious! Mussels on app menu was a good sized portion enough for my dinner. We tried the clam and lobster chowders and enjoyed them as well. Our waiter encouraged us to try the honey biscuit with the rosemary butter and we were not disappointed. Sweet enough to enjoy as dessert with a steaming hot cup of coffee.
Great! Especially the oysters!
Great oysters and fresh fish
Service was good
Hostess not very insightful
Best seafood in Boston! Amazing menu, waitress, and ambience. 10/10 recommend!
So hit or miss. This time a miss. Entree fish undercooked and sloppy. Service also poor, with me overhearing waiters saying how desperate they were to clock off....not the sort of thing you want to hear in a pricey restaurant
I wasn’t aware until yesterday that ICOB had brunch and it was quite good! The restaurant itself is a great space and the food was excellent... especially their homemade biscuits with rosemary butter served on a platter of honey—delicious!
The oysters were so fresh. The lobster roe noodles were delicious. And the non-alcoholic drink called Zuzu's Palace was refreshing with a perfect amount of sweetness. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Maybe it’s because my first time there the service was over the top outstanding, and the food super memorable, that this time things may have been above average but not outstanding. Service was slow and inattentive. Food was fine but nothing memorable. So a solid 4 stars down from 5 the last visit.
