We have crafted a rich mosaic of cultures and traditions from our homeland to bring a taste of Turkey to Fort Worth. A place where the wonder and excitement of visiting another culture meets the simple elegance of fine dining. We take pride in sharing our culture through authentic Mediterranean meals made with the healthiest, highest quality ingredients.
First off: great food. You can’t order a bad meal here. This would be a higher review but for the unique circumstances brought on by the outbreak. Service was a bit slow, but not bad. Wait staff was careful in everything they did and we were well attended too.
Amazing food and great service!
Pleasant ambiance, great flavors (don’t miss the Ezme!) , generous portions. Service was attentive but not rushed. Good value in downtown location.
Great food and service as usual. This is probably our favorite restaurant.
Amazing! The food is spectacular and plan to return in 2 days! Yes, it’s that good
Service and Food was fabulous
The hospitality was excellent. Food was delicious. Very charming and memorable place. Alexis was an outstanding server. Loved the wine. Some of the best Falafel, Turkish Coffee, and Baklava ever had.
From start to finish, it was perfect! The ambience, the service, the food.... oh, the food!!!! I love this place and will go back often!
The lamb chops were excellent
Good experience even with the virus
Legit, fresh, delish! Can't go wrong here if you're needing to get your Mediterranean fix!
I was unaware of Istanbul Grill until a recent search of restaurants in downtown Fort Worth and I'm glad I found this gem. Located only a couple of blocks away from Sundance Square, the restaurant is elegantly decorated with hints of Turkish influence. The wait staff was friendly and checked on us regularly. I had the Adana kebab, which was moist and flavorful with unique and tasty spices. The red lentil soup was also delicious, and spiced differently than many other mediterranean restaurants that serve lentil soups. My wife enjoyed the lamb chops that she ordered and felt they were properly cooked and well seasoned. I look forward to going back again and highly recommend this restaurant to others.
As always the food was outstanding. The ambiance was quiet, due to low diner count.
The food was delicious as always! They have some of the best lamb!
My Wife’s Birthday was the occasion for dinner and we were not disappointed. The food and service were both excellent. The only disappointment was they didn’t have any of the Turkish wine that we enjoyed on our last visit. But we had a good bottle none the less and a very nice evening.
Excellent! 1st visit and wasn't sure what to expect. We will be going back! Turkish meatball was amazing.
Awesome food, service and thanks for allowing us to dine!
Great Food, friendly staff, definitely recommend for a nice sit down dinner
Nice meal. Lamb was tasty but slightly more done than we prefer. Wait staff was very attentive.
First meal post social distancing. Staff was courteous and kind. Safety precautions made us feel at ease. Food was excellent.
It was great to be able to eat at the restaurant! The food was excellent, as was the service.
Outstanding meal with excellent service. I will be back.
This is our 2nd time visiting this restaurant before going to a performance at Bass Hall. Once again, the service was impeccable! We were greeted at the door and they remembered us from our previous visit. The lamb shank was positively the best I have ever eaten - an absolute must!
Everything about this place is wonderful. The service and food are exceptional and the wine is reasonably priced unlike other downtown restaurants. We have been here several times and will go back!
Nice classic white tablecloths and Great location walking distance to Sundance square. Parked in free garage behind P.F. Chang’s. The handmade dolmas were the best I’ve ever had and the braised lamb shank fell off the bone. Extensive wine list and pleasant staff.
Excellent service food and experience all around. Would definitely recommend and return!
Food was excellent; good selection. Very traditional, so it was as expected. Very nice atmosphere. Noise level was very nice, but it was early on a Thursday evening. Really liked that the valet service is also available for this restaurant, as well as the ones across the street. House wine is also very nice.
We loved the concept in North Dallas, and Plano. What a treat to find this one in Fort Worth. Quick train ride from Grapevine, a nice brisk walk to Sundance Square and BOOM! THEY RANOUT OF Efes, a fave Turkish beer, but everything else was awesome!
An upscale experience with genuine Turkish food. Well priced for the value. Good service, generous portions, good food. The live music was tastefully subtle, not hand sign level loud as it can be sometimes. Two negatives: tables were a little close for comfort, and the parking across the way was even more cramped, though free with a receipt. Will return.
Love the food and friendly service. My friend and I have go-to favorites and have never been disappointed. This is one of the few places to find beautifully cooked lamb dishes as well as other Mediterranean favorites. The hummus appetizer is excellent as are the zucchini pancakes. The menu and wine list has something for everyone. The location is just across the street from a Sundance valet location, two blocks from Sundance Square, and a short walk to Bass Hall.
Had a good time until my waiter decided that talking to the female waitress was more important than taking our dessert order. The manager that I told broke them up son he could take care of his customers. Normally I tip very well especially in this environment. Not this time.
Good restaurant will go back
Everything is exactly what you'd expect for a downtown restaurant with $20ish plates. It was nice, the food was delicious (and filling enough to be worth the price), the service was great, the restaurant was well organized and running extremely smoothly. It was great for our special occassion dinner and we will probably be back for more special occassions in the future.
Excellent experience from beginning to end, which says a lot, not only for a Friday night, but Valentine's Day to boot. Fun atmosphere, delicious cuisine, and attentive service. We will absolutely be back!
We reserved a table for the evening, and were seated immediately. The menu is amazing! There are plant based, healthy selections, deliciously prepared. Our server, Suru was beyond amazing and we even spoke Sam, the owner. Definitely found a new Fort Worth Favorite; and will be recommending to all of our friends!
The ambiance is great, the food fresh and well made - our server was spot on with recommendations. The menu is varied and well priced. We are recommending to our family and friends.
we went before the ballet and they were very accommodating to us due to our time constraint.
Our favorite place to dine before attending Circle Theater in downtown Ft. Worth.
Absolutely delicious & authentic . The best smoky Babaganoush ever tasted, falafel, gyro, halloumi, lamb adana kebab, piyak, borek. and nice assortment of desserts. Reasonable prices. Always excellent food and attentive service.
Salad was unimpressive for the $. The gyro plate was tasty and filling.
Devine! We discovered this spot on a whim one night when we had a change of dinner plans and so glad we did! We keep going back. Unique, rich flavors and a friendly wait staff who make great recommendations from the menu. The spicy ezme is a great starter!
